My wife, daughter and I recently enjoyed a wonderful brunch at NM's Cafe restaurant, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. Our server, Rubin, provided exceptional service with great attention to every detail, making us feel completely welcomed and valued. When he noticed that my coffee was not hot enough, he kindly went back to the kitchen and prepared a fresh pot, which made me very satisfied. All three dishes we ordered were authentic and beautifully prepared, showing the chef's professionalism and care. Rubin also checked on us several times throughout our meal to ensure everything was perfect. At checkout, he surprised my wife with a birthday cake and candle, creating a very special moment. Thanks to Rubin and the entire team, we had a delightful brunch and a memorable dining experience.

We had a fantastic lunch at NM Cafe. It was our first time and I had heard so much about the Neiman Marcus dining experience so was glad we were able to try it out at NorthPark Mall. The service was really exceptional and attentive. We were introduced to the popper which is a really delicious kind of bread pastry that is warm and served with a sort of strawberry butter. It's way better and more unique that any complementary bread you'd normally receive at a restaurant. They also serve a warm delicious cup of chicken broth which I loved. My wife had the shrimp tostada and I had the yellowfin tuna. Both dishes were excellent and quite filling for a lunch portion. I also had their cinnamon spiced tea which again was quite unique and something I enjoyed. Also, as an appetizer we had their brussels sprouts, which are quite delicious, but again was such a large portion I was stuffed and impressed with the quantity of food. Overall, big thumbs up for NM Cafe.

I had lunch at NM Café, and starting off with the popovers and chicken broth was such a lovely touch. The food was delicious, the service warm and attentive, and the atmosphere felt chic yet relaxed--perfect for a leisurely break

Neiman's popover and broth. Even when maintaining my figure, I can't resist.

This review was supposed to be about JOEY, the new restaurant in Northpark Mall. We were doing a rare and late lunch at 1:30 in the afternoon and decided to give the newly-opened joint a try. But apparently, half of Dallas was doing the same thing; so upon seeing JOEY packed with a late lunch crowd, we put on our thinking caps for another suitable lunch spot within the mall. (FUN FACT: I almost never go to the mall on a weekday afternoon, but witnessing the nearly full parking lots, I learned that a good share of Dallas does not work and somehow manages to have enough disposable income to spend their afternoons shopping. ) Since my better half is a Neiman Marcus power shopper, she suggested NM Cafe, a lunch spot on the 3rd floor of Neiman's. Most mall shoppers probably don't know about NM Cafe...that is, unless you are a Neiman's power shopper. (On this visit, I was the only male patron in the place.) The atmosphere is nothing to write home to Aunt Edna and Uncle Slim about, but it works given that NM Cafe only serves lunch and again, is located on the upmost top floor of the department store. The menu is fairly limited, but it includes what one would expect from a department store lunch place...salads, classy sandwiches, cocktails, and wines...all with a Neiman's touch. As with other Neiman's restaurants, your meal begins with their traditional broth and a popover. It's all good, based on this visit (and one other a few years back). On this trip, I chowed down on the chopped salad and topped it with grilled chicken. So, next time that you are in Neiman's shopping for that $83,000 gold and platinum diamond bracelet or a $37,000 Hermes Ostrich Birkin bag and feel a hunger pang for a Neiman's cheeseburger, get on the escalator and head up to the third floor.

Good food. Sweet service. Beautiful ambience. I really enjoyed my lunch here. I also love that they bring out chicken broth to start the meal.

I felt like I needed a ball gown, sipping hot tea, pinkies up (skeee weee...I had to ;-)...) sitting across from the lovely Queen Elizabeth II. Distinguished...Classic...fueled with sophistication this place is. The "Breakfast with Santa" Christmas event drew my sister and brother in law, along with the kiddos, in to embellish in all the happiness and joy trending around this time! At approximately $50 a plate, we were served, turkey and cheese crepes, bacon, a potato pancake, and a fruit and yogurt parfait. The only item I was able to finish was the yogurt parfait. Everything else remained on my plate, lukewarm and barely touched; a bit tasteless. One monkey don't stop no show! I was elated by the smiling faces on the kids as custom balloons were being made and Santa and Mrs. Claus made their rounds taking photos. Such long lasting memories were made!

Quite expensive, but worth it. First things first, take a sip of your broth-in-a-cup. Then dig into your practically unlimited Popovers with strawberry butter. Some people come just for those popovers, and I can relate. Food came out quickly, but you honestly wouldn't even notice if it took longer because your kind server will make sure you're doing just fine and you'll be too busy eating popovers. Anyways, maaaaybeee the $17 dollar burger wasn't quite worth it because it really didn't taste like anything special, but everything else - DELICIOUS. 10/10 for the TRUFFLE FRIES! If you're reading this ORDER IT. The truffle flavor is strong - in the best way. I've gotten the Andean Dream Pasta before and it's a good combination of vegetables and pasta. It's even better with chicken. -5/5 The burger comes with fries. I didn't ask if I could switch them with truffle fries, but I feel like they'd make you pay a little more.

The Cafe at Neiman Marcus is the perfect brunch spot. With a perfectly concise menu, offers of soup, salads, sandwiches, and light entrees, it's easy to pick something great! My mom and I ducked in today to take a break from shopping, and I was happy with my experience as always! Consommé amuse bouche and popovers with strawberry butter, Tomato soup with goat cheese and cous cous, and the Salmon Fillet with citrus and fennel salad made for a fabulous meal. Also- got the Lavender Orange Sparkle to drink and it's a MUST! Non-alcoholic and sooo refreshing.

Caramel glaze put me in a daze for days.

When I used to hear the name Neiman Marcus I used to associate it with shopping, however now when I hear the name Neiman Marcus I think about showering in a delicious chicken broth. There's a small gem located on the upper 3rd floor which has an amazing staff that provides great customer service as well as great food. I'm usually at the bar, but the overall atmosphere there is very relaxed. Diana the bartender is very attentive and makes some awesome drinks. I can never have too many popovers when I'm there (the bread they serve with the chicken broth) and they're fries are off the chizzain. My wife loves their pickles. Overall this place rocks and is a little expensive, but well worth your money. Go check it out, like right now!

10/10 service, 10/10 quality food. I had the salmon tacos and the salmon was cooked perfectly. Literally perfectly. Our server was great and super kind. He was helpful with describing what's on the menu. He hooked us up with the extra popovers and butter! Food came out pretty quickly, a reasonable amount of time. They had good team work among the servers. Wouldn't mind coming back

Really enjoyed our first time at the NM Cafe. Salmon tacos were the favorite dish. Cocktails were excellent.

Once arriving you are welcomed to complimentary bubbly while you wait to be sat. Service here was great for how busy it was. Here is what we ordered - **Starters** Korean Fried Cauliflower: I was the only one that ate this and omg it was really good, it satisfied my cauliflower craving lol 10/10 Truffle Parmesan Frites: these were outstanding 100/10! The freshly grated Parmesan on top was chef's kiss. Tuna and Avocado Roll: this was fresh and paired nicely with the sauce. 10/10 **Entrees** I got the Joey Classic Steak (on accident lol) but I'm not disappointed. The steak was cooked perfectly. The "crispy mashed potatoes" were unexpected lol. They were more like mashed potato eggrolls/flautas, but tasted fine. Id give this plate a solid 8/10. My cousin ordered the New York strip and she had just about the same notes on her dish. 8/10 My other cousin ordered the Steak Ravioli Blanco, she cleared her plate so I'm going to assume that she really liked it lol. 10/10 Lastly our waitress brought out a complimentary dessert since we were celebrating my cousin's bachelorette weekend, this was such a nice gesture, I think it was cheesecake and the flavor was delicious so 10/10

I can't strongly recommend JOEY and I'm really not sure what's happening here. The reviews are high…read morebut the execution didn't live up to the hype. I ended up only ordering a drink and an appetizer because I was so disappointed I didn't want to go further. $23.75 Joey Martini - just a simple dry vodka martini w Kettle One. But the description lured me in with the promise of a fantastic martini with an "extra martini on the side". What I received was a half of a martini with the rest of my martini in a shaker next to it. The martini was fine but nothing special. Not the first time I've overplayed for a drink but I do feel a little funny about the way their menu sold me then undelivered. $19 Hummus - The food was an issue for me though. When I order Hummus, I expect to receive hummus. Like the dish should be 70-80% hummus with some light toppings and some good pita bread. What I received was a pretty plate but very little actual hummus and a disaster of pita. First, they made a pretty plate circle of a small band of hummus then filled it with extra stuff to make it APPPEAR as if the center was filled with hummus yet there was zero hummus except for that small outer band. I estimate 49% hummus and the rest tzatziki and garnishment. Don't get me wrong, very aesthetically pleasing and tasty "extras" but the menu item isn't titled "EXTRAS with a little hummus". It's titled "Hunmus". And the pita... oh boy, what a mess. Proper pita is lightly grilled - served warm with a nice sponginess yet bite friendly approach. This pita was way over saturated in their butter/oil, and crisped up to the point there were burn marks and char on every piece. Horrible pairing with hummus and JOEY should know it. I feel these other reviews may be fake honestly as the prices are insane and the execution quite poor. Be careful. $45 for a $15 meal isn't worth it. Go somewhere else - I'm including a pic of the "hummus" reveal so you see what I'm talking about

We were huge fans of Meddlesome Moth(which had closed a few months prior). The beer list didn't excite me(I'm a beer snob) but the bar vibe and the great staff quickly made me forget about that. We eat there twice a month now and when we don't get in on a regular schedule, we really miss it. I'm a huge fan of the steak frites and my wife loves the weekly pasta dishes which never disappoint. The cocktails are great and they're made by the friendliest barkeeps in town(Matt, Christine) Christopher keeps the place flowing and Brittani(owner) is great and always welcoming. The overall vibe is comfy and totally unpretentious. Goldies is a hidden gem but has quickly become a popular spot. Great spots like this don't stay hidden very long. Highly recommended! Carter L

Food, however, wasn't great, we came multiple times last year and it was fantastic all around, last night?... New risotto appetizer was flavorless 4/10, sauce was outstanding 9/10. Chicken meatballs were 6/10, salty, but sauce again was 8.5/10. Bread with the meatballs was 9/10. Nightly special was 9/10, chicken thigh wrapped chicken leg, amazing sauce and carrots. Special sauce with the nightly special stole the night at 9.5/10 - I'd order a bowl of that and call it a night! Magic Chicken Thighs were 6/10, overly salted and dry - side arugula salad was a salt bomb 2/10. Sweet potatoe purée was 7.5/10. Burger and fries were 7/10, solid and above average. Salmon was 7/10, slightly overcooked. Mac & Cheese was 3/10, below average, dry, almost flavorless - paid $4 for bacon topping and it was dry also. Noodles were dried out and the cheese sauce was at the bottom of the cup, tasted like they scooped in pre-made noodles, added sauce, threw it in the oven and off it went - didn't appear mixed together at the least. Carrots, solid 8/10. Overall, I'd be tempted to give it another try, the ambiance and overall feel is awesome - then hope the food is great again and make it a perfect Friday night spot, but for $275 for the 4 entree's, 2 appetizer's and 2 drinks we got last night? I'd argue it wasn't worth it.
