I ordered my food ahead of time on the app and as soon as I walked in an employee greeted me and asked me my name. She handed me my food right away and gave me a smile. I usually get the salmon bowl with macaroni and cheese and their steamed mixed veggies. I wanted to try something different and opted for the chicken enchiladas .... OMG I found a new favorite! I also love this location, it's in a very nice plaza and there's ample parking as well. The layout is very spacious and has a bohemian vibe. I've always liked the decor at every location. I will say it's a bit overwhelming when you first walk in, because they keep a lot of product/produce around the register. So if you're a person that's easily influenced/have issues with making decisions, then keep your eyes glued to the menu LOL. Nonetheless, the inside is beautifully decorated & designed well in terms of how the register, prep station and seating area are positioned. It has a good flow/layout. You also have the option to dine outdoors & have access to a citrus infused water station, which is a thoughtful touch. Flower Child is definitely a house favorite -- and I can see why at first glance. The location is lovely, tucked into a very cute complex with La La Land and other spots that make it feel like a proper little lunch outing. Parking was easy (a win), and despite the 20-person line when we arrived at lunchtime, it moved quickly. The place was packed. Service was efficient. It's that optional tip, flag-style setup where they bring the food to you, and everything came out fast. No complaints there. They also offer both indoor and outdoor seating, which I appreciated -- though I will say, inside was very loud. Cozy, yes. Quiet, no. Now for the food. For me, everything was just... too seasoned. And I say that as someone who loves flavor. The cauliflower was overwhelmingly overseasoned (borderline aggressive), the broccoli was forgettable, and the mashed potatoes were a hard no. The steak came out rare instead of medium, and while the shrimp was fine, it wasn't memorable. I genuinely did not enjoy the cauliflower at all. To be fair, the rest of my group finished their plates and seemed happy -- so this may just be a personal palate preference. But at a $75 bill for the group, I expected to understand the hype a bit more. It's a warm, inviting concept in a great location, clearly beloved and always busy. One of my favorite locations in all of Dallas - I literally go out of my way to come here once in a while. Their bowls are comprehensive, have amazing flavors and diversity of textures and art just the right amount. I have never had a bad meal here and I appreciate the consistency of their product as well as their clean and healthy origin. The ambience is fast casual and the staff is always attentive and delivers the food promptly. I adore Flower Child. I had been to the location in Addison and had some time to kill before meeting so popped in for a healthy snack. I ordered the hummus with fresh vegetables and pita bread, it was delicious! I loved all the colors in the veggies and offerings, , radishes. The pita bread had some nice grains in it and was tasty as well. So, so good! I love all of the fresh offerings on the menu, kudos to the chef for all of the innovative ways to make healthy food delicious. The location is bright and fresh and has fun moments throughout. They did gallery style pictures on several of the walls and a large heart mural that I had to take a photo in front of. They also had a outdoor seating area in front but the patio in the back was closed but looked inviting, framed with plants and flowers. I will definitely be back again! read more

My husband visited a location in Phoenix and loved it. He looked up this location in Dallas and we had lunch. The restaurant was excellent and I would definitely go back when I am in the area. We walked in and the place smells like sewage. We get to the counter to order, and the lady was nice, but the order stumped her. We asked for a mimosa (on the menu), and she had to ask the person beside her if they did them. That lady said "no." So we ordered Prosecco and asked for a little orange juice...attitude. Then they forgot to give us the second Prosecco, didn't give us glasses for the mimosa, but delivered half a cup of orange juice...still no second prosecco. We had to get up to get the second one - we were told "I have to ask my manager." She finally brings it, still no glasses, so we had to pour the orange juice on top of our CAN of Prosecco. Then our daughter didn't like the avocado toast ($7.50), so we asked if she could trade it in for a kids meal ($6.50). She said, "I have to ask my manager." They made us go BACK UP TO THE COUNTER, refunded me for the toast then charged me for the kids meal. Literally $1.08. WHAT IS HAPPENING?
