First time dining here. Chose to come for lunch and greeted by the host upon arrival. Seated in Kaatie's section. She was very friendly and pleasant. We ordered the crab bisque soup and artichoke and spinach dip with pita bread as appetizers. Very tasty and delicious. For the entrees, husband ordered the fish and chips and I had the crispy chicken salad. Yummy! Kaatie checked on us often and refilled our drinks without us ever having to ask. She was very attentive. She cleared the tables as dishes or glasses emptied. That's so nice so the table doesn't remain cluttered with excess empty "things." I'm not sure what happened to Bazille, but our visit yesterday evening wasn't great. Not sure if this place is under new management or what, but the service was a bit slow and some of our order was underwhelming. Normally when you order a pizza from here, it comes out gourmet, the one we got yesterday looked like a kids pizza. My Fiancé's fish and chips order came out over cooked and all batter. We sent that back for another try and that came out better. They only had one bartender and or drinks took a good minute to come out. The star for us was the spinach artichoke dip. Food needs a lot of Improvement. I used to eat a lot when it was under different management and it was called Bistro. Ever since food is just another sports bar menu, our calamari were so greasy and burnt I had to send them back, which is very unusual for me, the second batch they brought was just about the same. The chicken sandwich was so big there was no way we could just bit on it, and the flavour... not impressed. They refill the drinks with a pitcher of soda that's been probably sitting for hours and is already flat. The crab Mac and cheese used to be delicious, it was just plain fusilli with a few pieces of crab and not wha I was expecting. The skirt and fries were very tasty so it was the bread pudding dessert. We drove about 55 mins to the restaurant, promised our guests ever was going to be delicious, so disappointed. read more

The straw of the show were the Brussels sprouts, hands down. The flavor of them combined with the chicken sausage was out of this world. Service was its usual terrific self. But what we ordered was a big disappointment, though this is the first time I have had a bad experience there. We both ordered the French Dip. The meat was very chewy and very fat. We only ate half. We ate dinner on 4/8. I think it is totally ridiculous to require (on the restaurant's website) that a diner must have made a reservation through Open Table in order to evaluate the food/service. We walked in without a reservation, so I'm resorting to Yelp. read more

Dallas location- Bazille Draw inspiration from the Bazille in Dallas. They are taking inventory of food needs clearly! Frisco locations-Bazille I love Bazille and have been a patron for YEARS. When I visit, the servers are as attentive as they can be even though this location is short staffed. The initial greeting and drink order is not as timely because of the short staffed factor. My rating of 1 star is because of a food ordering issue. Consistently when I ask for various items, they don't have available or have "just run out." The experience reminds me of Covid all over again. The managment needs to change their menu items if they are this comfortable with not having items. When I have spoken to a point person, he gave this reasoning that made me feel like I'm on the ordering staff. I'm just here for good food. Again, this hasn't just happened on one occasion but enough for a Yelp Elite/Squad member to say it's a great problem that needs to be addressed and fixed. Would I visit again? Hard to time with shopping so not easy to time to make a reservation which can be a pain. Overall: my all time favorite here are the fries with olive tapenade. Located inside Nordstroms on the third level this restaurant is very nice. The service was top-notch and the food came out fresh and hot. I started out with an unsweet tea. They provided sweetener followed by a French onion soup which was absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend it. I then got the gnocchi with chicken sausage, which was delicious and tasted extremely fresh. Overall, the meal was approximately $38 and I left a $10 tip. We had a great meal here. My wife told me about her girls' outings at this place and we decided to give it a shot when we were shopping at North Park. I was pleasantly surprised that a restaurant, in a clothing store, in a mall, would have such quality food and service. I have to say, it beats anything in the food court hands down, and gives many of the nearby restaurants a run for their money. My visits to this Northpark Bazille were disappointing. I have enjoyed Bazille in many locations across the country and this location failed every time. Based on my experiences at other locations I offer the following suggestions: 1) Improve the food quality, food prep and presentation, 2) train the entire staff to care about their role at your restaurant and 3) improve the vibe. There is no energy and it feels depressing. I came here yesterday to meet up with my friend and I didn't even know this place existed inside Nordstrom. Alredo was our server and he made the experience great. He was very witty and patient since I took so long to make a decision on what to order lol. Great service and even better prosecco but I wasn't excited about the food options. Food not as good as the first time. 1PM on a Wednesday, about 50% capacity, we were seated next to the bar. Our Waitress was very pleasant & helpful. If you eat at the bar area, your waiter has a very long walk back to the kitchen, so take this into consideration. French Onion Soup (cup size), with Spicy Chicken Sandwich, and Spicy Shrimp Pomodoro was our order. A small plate of warmed bread was brought, along with soft drinks. The bread was hard as rocks (the warning) we ignored. The French Soup was a train wreck, the cheese was like a meatball. The onion flavor was way too strong. The 5 Shrimp in the Pomodoro were like a set of car tires, with the spare. All five were Overcooked, hard as tire tread. The Chili seeds in the sauce were ridiculously numerous, almost like a prank. It's a pasta dish, not a burrito. Spicy does not require seeds. The Spicy Chicken Sandwich was decent, but not like 3 months ago. Fries were decent, but Kalamata Aioli was way too salty! What happened to the Kitchen here? Looking back at photos before Covid epidemic, Bazille (formerly Bistro N.) was serving beautiful dishes. Waitress was stuck with too many tables, and has no control over poor food quality, so we decided to not burden her any further with our complaints. Nordstrom: I'm not a big Yelper, but on Google I have over 2,000 reviews and 300 Million views on my photos. You need to sort out this current kitchen crew before they destroy Bazille. read more

A few caveats on this review...I'm looking at this eatery through the prism of grabbing a lunch bite while shopping at the mall. If I were reviewing it from the perspective of a destination for dinnertime, I'd slightly reduce my rating. If you are in the midst of power shopping and the call of hunger pangs beckons you to satisfy that urge, but don't want to venture to the madness of the mall food court, Bazille in Nordstrom's might fit that bill. After all, it's a sit down joint with a host and waiters. There's even a full bar if you want a stiff one to calm down those shopping nerves. On our most recent visit, which is on the top floor of Nordstrom, we found the joint mostly empty going on noon. (However, beware...I've seen it packed at noon a number of times in the past.) We grabbed a booth, and saw our waiter in moments. I grabbed the Cilantro Lime salad topped with 4 or 5 good sized shrimp. My order literally appeared in minutes. A decent portion to stoke up those engines for more noon-time shopping. And even better... it was tasty. And a far cry from grabbing something in the good court. That is, unless you're into food courts. In that case...never mind. read more

If you blindfolded me, I would have never known I was eating in a (luxury) department store restaurant. Everything tasted 5 stars!!! Strong, tasty, and refreshing cocktails. Need I say more? A solid variety of options as well. The shared plates section of the menu is perfect for your table if you want to try multiple items. The maple bacon deviled eggs are some of the BEST deviled eggs I've ever had, and I've had a lot of them at family gatherings. Impressive! The brussel sprouts with chicken sausage and peanuts were coated in a delicious sautéed flavor that also made the dish filling. I've never had meat in brussel sprouts and loved it! The chicken tacos come two to a serving and made for perfect little bites. Every bite tasted of fresh ingredients (you can tell a difference!). We were seated easily at 11am on a Monday (President's Day), and it was 3/4 full by 12:30pm. I cannot wait to go back! read more

Loved, loved, loved our visit to Bazille! We were in need of some good nosh while Christmas shopping at Northpark, and found Bazille on the directory under restaurants. We had honestly been to Northpark dozens of times, and always forget that Bazille even exists. Not anymore! We will definitely be back, as they made an outstanding impression on us, and left us with a delicious taste in our mouths (literally). We were seated quickly by a pleasant hostess, and immediately greeted by our waiter. I saw that it was still "Happy Hour" (just barely) and inquired if it would be alright if I got a drink from that menu as well as one of the appetizers. I was informed that was fine, and proceeded to order what is now one of my favorite drinks, a cranberry and gin based drink that was tart, bitter, and sweet all at once, and served with fresh cranberries! The cinnamon syrup in the bottom was what really took it over the edge. It was so good I got a second one, which I NEVER do. The app was a garlic parmesan bruschetta, and it was very good. Our meals were the chef special pizza and the gnocci with chicken meatballs. Both were outstandingly delicious, and a good value to boot! No tiny portions here, I took home half my pizza (which reheated great in a toaster oven). We finished with their bread pudding, which was, quite literally, one of the best desserts I have ever had. We straight up almost licked the plate clean, lol. By the time we left, I was buzzing with good cheer and happy vibes, and can't wait to come back for a repeat! read more

We knew we were going to Nordstrom's Anniversary Sale so I made a reservation for our lunch break. We always stop in here when shopping at Nordstrom. Their cosmopolitans are one of my favorites and the French fries with Kalamata olive aioli are my all time favorite fries. I had the club sandwich. They have improved it my removing the green beans they used to put on it. It was yummy. The cilantro lime shrimp salad is always good and fresh! Wonderful, classy restaurant in Nordstrom! Heads up, I found it a little hard to find, as it is on the 3rd floor of Nordstrom, which I believe is a floor above the 3rd floor of the mall. They take reservations online, which is certainly convenient. We were seated right away for lunch. The restaurant is at 50% capacity, and it seemed like they were close to capacity when we went. The food was quite delicious - I got the crab bisque and shrimp chitarra pasta, as well as a refreshing drink (called Vine...something). I was very pleased with the drink and crab bisque. I think that the shrimp pasta was a little too rich in flavor for me, but I still enjoyed it. I was quite pleasantly full by the end of our meal. I tried some of my friend's Kung pao chicken brussel sprouts (I think that's what it was?), and that was pretty good as well! My GPS took me to the parking garage next to Dillard's so I was quite confused when I walked into the mall and found that I had to walk all the way around to the other side of the mall. They had about a 10 minute wait for lunch but I was able to walk around Nordstrom and shop until I received a text that said my table was ready. While shopping at Northpark (specifically Nordstrom) it's easy to miss the restaurant located on the top floor, Bazille. I used to frequent it a lot when it was known as Bistro N. But, ever since they changed their menu, things are just not the same. Sure, everything looks the same though, so that works in its favor tremendously. This really is a spacious haven away from the crowds when you just want to stop somewhere and grab a drink and some food. The booths are very cushiony and comfortable, the bar area is excellent and even has some TVs, and the view outside of the East Entrance to Northpark is wonderful! That's why they've merited three stars so far, the deduction is at the fault of the food. The old chicken club was perfection. The new breaded chicken sandwich is, well...overly salty. The fries were painfully salty. Everything was unnecessarily salty. There was so much superfluous sodium flowing between me and everyone else's plates at my table that one of us requested their meal be remade. The chef needs to know the food is fine by itself, it doesn't need to hide behind curtains of salt, just let it do its job, it's good the way it is. But, hey, if lots of salt is your bag, you'll have nothing to complain about here. All in all, Bazille is not great, just OK. Better yet, if you do venture here, just go to the bar and grab a drink, maybe skip the food, that's all I can recommend. read more
