This is quickly becoming one of our favorite breakfast locations in Burbank. There's lots of seating inside and out, and the wait times to be seated are reasonable. As for serving time, it does take a bit of time from ordering to getting your food since it gets really busy. Their menu has a slew of breakfast options to pick from. But, if you're a fan of eggs Benedict's, Another Broken Egg Cafe has a tasty crab cake version that's so tasty! It's filled with chunks of crab pieces. We also got their chicken biscuit sandwich which came with a buttery soft biscuit. Most of their dishes comes with an option of country potatoes, tater tots or a fruit salad. The portion sizes are decent that you can share with another person. We always end up with leftovers. Overall, we'll definitely will keep coming back to try items off their menu! read more

Went on a Monday morning around 8:30 am. Not too busy to start, we were seated toward the back by the bar. However, within 15 minutes, the crowd started arriving. Server was nice and open about explaining some of the items on the menu. Atmosphere was clean and quiet for good conversation. Server is also generous with constantly checking in if you need a refill on coffee or beverage. The coffee (black, no cream) was on point and definitely perked me up. The food was likewise on point. We ordered the seasonal items (the server said they would only be on the menu for a few more weeks in August. The Mango and Dragonfruit French Toast was a good portion. Toast was crunchy on the outside and delightfully soft on the inside. The syrup that is included on the table is refreshingly warm and not too sweet. A good amount of mango was included and could have used a bit more dragonfruit. The Shrimp 'N City Grits Benedict was also a good portion. The grits are fried like cakes and covered in the eggs and Benedict sauce with a proper portion of shrimp. Not too salty and not too saucy. If you're not into the fried grits, I'd recommend ordering the traditional grits on the side instead of the breakfast potatoes. I know weekends are jam packed but would definitely recommend going here on the weekday mornings before 9 am. read more

I was so impressed with Another Broken Egg that I didn't realise they are a chain! I thought it was a little local spot for a great brunch. I had the lobster and brie omelet with champagne butter sauce, served with an English muffin and crispy, perfectly cooked breakfast potatoes. The omelet was divine! I paired it with their Grand Mimosa. I would've ordered a pitcher of them, as they offer, but my companion didn't want to drink that morning and I didn't want to get tossed on a gallon of them to myself. The patio seating was nice, and service was efficient and friendly. I'll be back! read more

I cannot believe we have never eaten here before! What a revelation. I'd been wanting to come here for years, but they're always so busy. They have a great patio, so I get it! Today was kind of rainy, so they didn't seem as packed. The inside is SO retro. I felt like I'd stepped back in time to 2004. I mean that in the best way possible. They were playing 80s music which just added to the vibe. Our server Jason was wonderfully attentive. One of the best experiences we've had in SO long. Honestly. So nice and great to talk with. The food was incredible too. I love pancakes. I consider myself a pancake master. Seriously, I make REALLY good pancakes at home, but these Lemon Blueberry Goat Cheese Pancakes?! Truly innovative. A revelation. Life changing flavor combination. Not exaggerating. My husband got the Lobster & Brie Omelette which he said was amazing. I only had a couple bites of his potatoes--vegetarian, you know--but the potatoes were AMAZING. God, I love potatoes. We have enough leftovers for lunch. The portions are HUGE! Where to start off, well this place is located in Burbank, we have been coming here for a while it's one of my sisters favorite brunch spots she love this place. You will need to come in early as it does get really busy and the parking is minimal due to the fact that a lot of people come and enjoy a good brunch here. The service is great, and it's very welcoming and housewarming. I've had a lot of different verities of plates here and so far all the food that I've had has been delicious. The coffee is really good and comes in hot just how I like it. Omg this place is incredible!! As someone who grew up in the south, I gotta say these grits, biscuits and gravy will give Georgia diners a run for their money. I love the atmosphere both inside and on the patio. The wait time was 30 minutes, but we chose to sit at the communal table instead of getting our own table and were served immediately. Our waiter was very polite and attentive. Always a wait on the weekend but IMO that's a great indication of the quality of a place ;) Crab cake Benedict was meaty and savory (recommend adding crystal hot sauce for a kick) - 10/10 Bourbon Street pancakes were sweet, and the pancakes were perfectly fluffy and complemented by that delish rum butter sauce - 10/10 Smoked salmon Benedict was fully loaded. We got on the waitlist (through a link on Google maps page, also on their website site) before we got there and the wait was about 15 minutes. We got the crab cakes Benedict with grits and shrimp n grits (seasonal item) with potatoes. Of the two, we would prefer the crabs cakes Benedict more - crab cakes were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Very flavorful and the eggs were perfect as well! The shrimp and grits Benedict is pretty decent as well but I just didn't enjoy the sauce - felt it's a little bit too creamy for our taste. One thing to note is that if you order coffee, they come in those really cute and colorful mugs! There is parking in nearby lots and street parking! read more

The food is good, not great, and the portions are generous, more than I could eat. There are a lot of options on the menu not much for plant based alternatives if that's your thing. My biggest problem with this place is that it's very cavernous. The acoustics are awful. I'm just getting old, but it's very hard to have a conversation in this place. Now I know the only reason I come here is if I want to see a movie at the AMC down the street. read more

First time trying this place out and I gotta say the food and service was great our server Jenny was a few weeks in as an employee and she was so funny and attentive! I would go back just to have her be our waiter and to go for the hash brown Benedict! A must try Bloody Mary Hendricks hurricane were okay cocktails but the mule was my favorite out of all of them ambiance was cute for a breakfast place! One of my fave spot for brunCh... been back after few months... it never fails my taste bud... My all time fave is their Lobster & Brie Omellette, this time i ordered the Apple Fritter and Bacquezo Omellette... and it was sumptous! not to forget their coffee in their signature Mug! Servers were great likewise! Very attentive with quick service. Ambience was great for brunch... esp outside seating... Parking is not even a problem too, structure has big space accross the street. Was in Glendale for the weekend. Had the opportunity to eat at Porto's but decided to eat somewhere else and weren't disappointed. Lot of seating and it was busy on a Sunday morning. Only waited 15 mins for us to sit since my in-law said she can use the stool instead of waiting for 30 mins for a regular table for nine guests. We ate all the dishes that we ordered (Not all pictured) except for the Chicken Sandwich (to-go). Southern Chicken Sandwich (Fried) - crispy, tender juicy chicken on a brioche bun. Amount and freshness of toppings (BLT, pickled onions and ranch dressing compliments well with the chicken. Traditional Day Starter - two freshly scrambled eggs with tasty/delicious andouille sausage with a little kick to it. Crab Cake Benedict - The Best Crab Cake Benedict I've ever had! jumbo, I mean jumbo crab cake topped with andouille infused hollandaise sauce. Perfectly poached egg the way I liked it. The fried potatoes lacks seasoning but the Cholula did the trick. Must to order! We were greeted upon entering and asked multiple times if we need anything. It was a Sunday so parking is not an issue during our dining experience. We're absolutely coming back! read more

It's a super busy restaurant. Pictures looked good and the menu options looked ample enough. Final assessment, food wise it was just mid. Service was good overall, plenty of seating and they provide parking. The location is nice and clean, so those aspects of the experience were good. Let me explain my mediocre labeling of the food. I ordered the cinnamon roll French toast, two of the toasts were good and one was dry. The inconsistency was stark. My sister got the crab cake Benedict's and after finding a long hair in it, they tried to cover it up twice, once by calling it a cheese string and secondly by stating that no one in the kitchen has blonde hair. The fact was that it was there, no need to try and explain it away, it happens, we should all know that. The home fries were lackluster but at least my niece enjoyed them with lots of ketchup. Overall the food is good but also wouldn't call it spectacular. read more

This is a good breakfast choice in the area. Even if you're there in busy times, they're good at getting you seated. The first time I was here I was debating one of the eggs benedict dishes vs. the biscuits and gravy, and our waiter didn't hesitate and said "oh, the benedict" and he was right: they have multiple options, and I've had the traditional and the eggs blackstone benedict (I think that's it - the one with the bacon), both great. On this most recent visit I thought "well, why not try the biscuit and gravy?" Here's why the waiter said that: the biscuit is delicious, but the gravy is really, really bland. I tried spicing it up with any condiment they had at the table...all at the table agreed: avoid this one. But again, the rest is great. M'lady always gets the lemon pancakes and enjoys 'em. The crowds waiting for tables should tell you something - this place is worth it! read more

A little curt and did not exude a welcoming feel. The chilaquiles with side of black beans was the only thing half-way decent. The crab cake benedict was terrible as were the regular eggs benedict. We did go to the Nola one which is a bit better however we did not NOT LIKE IT HERE we did .. we just feel it was alright .. we would go back to Nola . We thought our French fries were underwhelming NOT CRISPY ENOUGH . Even though we sent them back they just have a frozen feel . We loved our server she was top tier ! CRAB CAKE BENEDICT Total disappointment. Not sure what you did to the hollandaise if that's what it was supposed to be but it did NOT vibe with the crab cake and eggs. And the crab cake itself was mostly filler. Hard to locate crab within the cake. I wanted to love this place as we're in the area often. I took my friend here to grab breakfast after picking him up at the airport nearby. I been to this restaurant before like a couple of years ago and I had a great experience. I parked my car at the police station two blocks away since it's free two hours parking. You can try looking for street parking near the restaurant but since it's near a courthouse, it's usually taken. We got seated quick and we started to look at their menu. My friend got their coffee and I tried to order the fanta orange soda but our server came back to tell me they ran out of it. So I went with a coke and for my dish I got the Southern Chicken Sandwich with grilled chicken and fruits for my side. My friend went with the traditional breakfast with two eggs, bacon and potatoes. He tried to order fruits for his side but our waitress said it's an additional cost which she didn't tell me for my dish until I saw the bill. Service was definitively with a big smile, but kitchen was way too slow. We came on a random Friday (holiday) and maybe staff did not anticipate how busy it was going to get. That's adding another 20 minute wait for our table. Food came in after 20-25 minutes so, that's one star off but food is really good. The way they described the food is exactly how you'll get it and the way you imagined it. Bathrooms may need a little cleaning but it's not bad. Will I come back, definitely! read more

My son's in laws were visiting so we took them to brunch and thoroughly enjoyed our brunch. I didn't realize they added 18% on for our large party and I added a tip. When I got home and realized I called the restaurant and spoke to Izzy. She was understanding and so professional. She had the manager Michael call me back. Not only did he refund me the $40 he also let me know that when the server saw that I had double tipped he didn't enter the tip and just charged me the correct amount. Food was decent. I liked my veggie omelette with goat cheese. First bit had no seasoning, added salt and pepper and it was great. Potato's tasted like they were from a bag. Not appetizing. Pancakes were gritty. Not happy with that choose. Coffee was very good, bold yet smooth tasting. It's a nice place for breakfast. Especially nice is that it's great for big groups. We ordered a cinnamon bun to go. It's huge. Total cost for two was $70! I mean really!!! That's crazy expensive! But that's what you pay for to go out these days. Great service from Lindsay. My favorite breakfast place in Burbank service is always great coffee always slaps everyone's nice and it's a good vibe but the menu is overwhelming for me but they always have good opinions on how to navigate you around it if you're not sure what you want I wanted pancakes with eggs and bacon and the lemon was just amazing. We've been coming to the Burbank Granville for years, and have always had a great experience...except for on July 5, 2026. On Sunday, July 5, 2026, I dined at Granville Burbank with my husband, and my in-laws. My party had a reservation for 6:45 PM, and I arrived to join them at approximately 7:00 PM. Upon entry, the hostess asked if my dog was a service animal. I responded yes, and was permitted join my party. My dog is a trained service animal whose primary task is providing Deep Pressure Therapy (DPT). While we were in the middle of eating our entrées, the manager on duty approached our table. She stated, "Hi, I'm the manager on duty. I understand that's a service animal. He's not allowed to be sitting in your lap. He has to be on the floor." I explicitly explained to the manager that my service dog needed to be on my lap because he was actively performing Deep Pressure Therapy for a medical condition. The manager refused to accept this explanation and continued to insist that he be placed on the floor, claiming that having him in my lap was a "violation of the health code" and that he had to be on the floor to be "compliant with the law." To be clear, my service animal is a miniature dachshund, and he was not causing any disturbance; he was sitting quietly on my lap. Per ADA guidelines, a service animal is permitted to be off the floor if their specific trained task requires them to be closer to the handler's body. Because my dog was actively tasking, the manager's refusal to accommodate his positioning--and her insistence that he move to the floor--constitutes a violation of the ADA and California's Unruh Civil Rights Act. I was/am currently pregnant, and this targeted, unlawful behavior caused me significant public embarrassment, severe emotional distress, and physical anxiety. I felt deeply harassed and unsafe in the establishment while simply trying to manage my health and enjoy a meal with my party. A representative of the company attempted to call me once regarding this incident, and left me a voicemail. When I returned his call he was unavailable, so I left a voicemail...and I never heard back from him. I share this experience because it has caused me to avoid this location, and I do not wish for anyone else to have a similar experience.

I had breakfast here today and I wish I hadn't because it was the most humiliating experience of my life and I am beyond shocked, shaken up, and disheartened over what took place here. I was leaving the restaurant with my daughters, sisters and niece when this man who works there came out and accused us of stealing. I thought it was a mistake and I began by explaining the bill was paid, tip left, etc. He claimed we stole one of his coffee mugs. Everyone instantly opened up their purses to defend ourselves against this ridiculous accusation, but without even looking, he started to cuss at all of us and yell to leave and never come back. Fine, we won't but, but the incident was so shocking. We persisted for him to check because we wanted him to know it was a misunderstanding. I've never been accused of something like that and it was extremely unsettling and uncomfortable ... especially with so many people around. He told us to get the **** out and he got so aggressive I feared he would get violent so I had my daughter call the police. The police came and confirmed nothing was stolen and added that it was crazy people like this man that even kept them in work. He stormed back inside, telling customers on his way "I'll be right with you once I deal with these thieves." ... This was even AFTER the police confirmed we had nothing with us. Ridiculous!!! Unbelievably rude.. still in shock over this. It's crazy to think you can go have breakfast somewhere and have it end in getting verbally assaulted and humiliated. I usually don't like to write negative reviews, but unfortunately can't say anything good about this place and I would give them 0 starts if I could. Me with my 2 other friends went to have breakfast this morning. I ordered water and my friends got tea and we ordered some food. The waitress brought our drinks, my cup with water and another cup with tea was dirty with someone else's lipstick on it. I called her back and asked her if they wash their dishes here. I guess she was expecting me to pour the water from a dirty cup into a disposable one and drink it from there? I had breakfast here with friends and family today. It was the worst experience I've had at any restaurant in my life. We were walking out of an enjoyable breakfast with a sweet waitress and good food when the owner or manager (tall bald, aggressive man who looks like another broken egg himself) stormed out after us accusing us of stealing one of their coffee mugs. We were so shocked everyone opened up their purses immediately to show there was a misunderstanding but he started cussing at all of us at the top of his lungs. He was honestly TERRIFYING. I was afraid he was going to start a physical altercation so I called the police. The officers resolved everything, nothing was stolen and he went back inside to harass other people. I have never been more insulted in my life and if this place went out of business in the next hour it wouldn't be soon enough. I guess if you still choose to eat here, don't order coffee or don't have a purse on you because you'll end up spending $100 and getting cussed out. read more

Everything is very safe and the coffee is always warm. Tried the Skinny Omelette , which came with feta cheese and red peppers and green onions. It was almost sweet? If that makes sense. Also tried the Benedict eggs , opening them was a dream, watching the yolk melt over the ham and bread. Overall this food is fantastic and pricey Worth the trip !this is a fantastic breakfast place! Burbank is a tad out of the way for me. But I went on a Monday a few months ago because I wanted my boyfriend to try it out and it was good. The wait was a bit long both to get a table and to get our food. I'm not sure if it was because they were understaffed due to the 3-day weekend or not. The place looks a under furnished for some reason. Which I thought was odd because they had everything they needed. They have a really nice bathroom :) They also have really good food. I had the crab cake benedict, which was good but I'm not much of a holidae sauce fan (can't remember why I ordered it). But I had their crabcake cavallo my first time there and THAT was delicious. My boyfriend had a chorizo omelette dish which was so awesome! They do a good job on their potatoes as well. I plan to return if I'm in the neighborhood. First and last time here. Stay away. Sat outside cause it's nice weather but don't recommend it cause it was infested with flies and very annoying. I asked for grilled onions, took a bite and realized there was tons of raw onions. Mentioned to waitress and she asks me if it's ok if she can bring grilled onions on the side. Wtf!? No you can make me a new burger. She went inside and came out 15 mins later with the same cold burger and said they removed the onions and put grilled onions in my bit burger. Really? Told me she mentioned to the manager that she put in the order for grilled onions and the chef messed up but manager said they would have to charge me to make a new burger. Seriously? I was waiting to be seated with some friends today around noon when I witnessed something truly disturbing outside of this place. I saw a handful of women leaving the restaurant when the owner stopped them and started cussing them out right in front of us and dozens of others waiting. The women were crying and defending themselves, but the man and the younger guy who said he was his son continued to go off on them in a way I had never seen before. We were so uncomfortable we left. I don't know what had happened, but I will not be paying money to a place that cusses at customers and threatening them with physical violence. Worst place ever! We waited over an hour for a table, and anticipated at that rate that there must be something good. Turns out, the place is just understaffed majorly. Finally got seated, took another half an hour before the orders were taken. I got a cup of coffee that had somebody else's breakfast remnants all over it. The food was cold when it finally got to us, at least 45 minutes after ordering, and it was below sub par. The whole thing was a major bust, and the attitude of the entire staff was just horrible. At one point I got up to go and refill my coffee myself, because no one had been in our area to serve us for at least 20-25 minutes. Stay away. If you're going to wait that long read more

My first review: The Bacado Omlete! I have to say I have been looking for a good breakfast spot in Burbank for some time now. After doing some yelping and careful review I chose Another Broken Egg and went there this morning. Ambiance: this place is very clean - its not a hole in the wall but its a nice restaurant. Service: very prompt. My pet peive is when my coffee doesnt get refilled in time and I have to say that my coffee was full the whole time. A+ Food: the omelet, ohhhh that omelet. It just melts in your mouth. It has the perfect touch of being fluffy and the cheese and oh i can go on and on. Add extra avocado makes a big difference. I really hate the fact that they close at 2. Frankly I think they're just being selfish and teasing the customers. The only day I can actually go out for breakfast is either a saturday or sunday, and on saturday or sunday I dont like leaving my bed before 11am, which really makes it hard to make it anywhere by 1:30pm. But occasionally I get woken up by my angry dog that wants a walk earlier than usual on a sat morning and thats when I drag my wife out of bed and force her to come eat at Another broken egg cafe with me. Stopped here on a road trip and holy smokes what a find! I ordered the Eggs Blackstone Benedict with avocado. The plate (should have taken a pic) was beautiful with just the right amount of hollandaise: not too much that drowns the whole plate, but just enough to add flavor. They didn't skimp on the added avocado either, which was ripe and delicious. The waiter was friendly and professional, the wait was reasonable, and the prices are fair. I wish I lived closer so I could be a regular, especially because their large patio is dog friendly! read more

First off, this review comes from someone who used to work at a restaurant. They're cleaning tables, but not chairs. Went to breakfast here today and the gentleman only cleaned the table and didn't bother to wipe the chairs down (should use separate towel) this is basic cleaning protocol pre covid and should be practiced especially now. Coffee that was first served to me was cold. Ketchup is given in reusable bottles that everyone touches as well as menus . Small changes make all the difference. read more

I love this place because of its small cozy feel to it, its super down to Earth and kind staff and their delicious food. The server was very friendly and talkative. The price is fair. Great portions and very original food, your not going to see the exact same thing at Bea Beas. Have heard mixed reviews about this place but I'm always open to trying a new breakfast spot. Sadly, this place was disappointing. The lines can get long on weekends, but most places can. If it's worth the wait, I'm a happy guy. Unfortunately, the service was so slow, the coffee tasted like Folgers, and the food was poorly seasoned and bland. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Worse service I've ever gotten. First off the waitress was no where to be found. I kept looking for the waitress. They messed up on my order and put onions in my burger. I told them that I really don't like onions or the taste and asked if they can redo my burger. The food is great, but the wait and the serving is super slow. I asked my waiter for two straws and he didn't bring it. I asked the manager for it and when we got the check I asked for a to go box and he completely went to another table and started walking around... he did not bring me my to go box. I used to be a regular here, as the food is good and service great. The prices seemed to have hiked up some and it's a bit of a hassle now to get service. The increases have been subtle, but I noticed the price point for small side of sausage was ridiculous. The tipping point for me was seeing that they charge 4 dollars for regular black coffee. If you go really early and the parking attendant isn't there to give you a ticket, the servers inside the restaurant will stamp a receipt for you that you give the attendant on the way out that you'll use as a validated ticket.
