They offered a good variety of options with generous portions. Everything was scrumptious. The waiter was friendly and checked on us several times making sure we were taken care of. They offer indoor and outdoor seating plus a full bar area. It's a great place to have breakfast if you're flying out of Burbank airport because of the proximity. Semi-regular here! As a stereotypical LA brunch enjoyer, I love to come here over the weekend and treat myself after a long week of work or sometimes with coworkers/friends in the area. Service has taken a serious downturn. The waitress never offered side options, and when I ordered a Bloody Mary, there wasn't even an option for alcohol. She forgot several items what we asked for and I had to repeat myself multiple times for something as simple as straws and hot sauce. When the waffle was brought to the table, syrup was spilled all over the table and the floor by the sever, and no one made any effort to clean it up. That set the tone: the staff seemed to be running on autopilot, indifferent and detached. The food didn't help either. My shrimp and grits were drowning in sauce, so heavy that it was impossible to enjoy. Moderation is key, but it feels like no one in the kitchen is paying attention. I've been a regular here for a long time, but the lack of care and the robotic service leaves me wondering if it's even worth coming back. Stopped at this joint for breakfast and there was no wait despite it being 9am on a Saturday. You can find free parking at the courthouse parking structure which is nice. Overall, I would say that the service was the best thing about this place. The food was good but nothing special and the coffee wasn't all that great. Was first to walk in at 7:02am - love a breakfast spot that opens this early. We started with coffee and a tea - next up Cinnamon Roll French Toast and this was exactly what you though Cinnamon Rolls that were like French toast, topped with cream cheese icing, rum better sauce drizzle and fresh fruit. This was decadent and very generous serving - leftovers were brought home! We also had the traditional day starter, i got two sunny side up eggs, with bacon served with an english muffin. I did pay an upcharge to have a side of fruit. Service was friendly and welcoming. While we finished pretty fast we were still talking and catching up and our server when dropping off the check assured us that there was no rush to leave but he wanted us to have the check! Another Broken Café is a great spot for large parties. We came in as a group of 10, and our server was absolutely amazing -- very attentive, accommodating, and helpful the entire time. He truly made the experience smooth and enjoyable. Our food came out hot, and the pancakes were hands down my favorite thing on the menu. The chipotle glaze was actually solid and carried most of the flavor, but the waffle itself tasted very basic, like hotel breakfast batter. So what can I say? I was really looking forward to a delicious breakfast today. Half way through my 1st Benny I spotted something long that came out of my food. I took a few more glances I was hoping it wasn't a hair. But it was a thin blond hair. I nicely waved at a server near by. I showed her the hair she said it's probably cheese. I nicely told her it's not cheese it's hair. So she took it back and ordered me a new one. We've been going here forever and after my celiacs diagnosis this was the only place I could eat breakfast without getting sick. They had the absolute best gluten free pancakes. Went on a Monday morning around 8:30 am. Not too busy to start, we were seated toward the back by the bar. However, within 15 minutes, the crowd started arriving. Server was nice and open about explaining some of the items on the menu. Atmosphere was clean and quiet for good conversation. Server is also generous with constantly checking in if you need a refill on coffee or beverage. The coffee (black, no cream) was on point and definitely perked me up. The food was likewise on point. We ordered the seasonal items (the server said they would only be on the menu for a few more weeks in August. The Mango and Dragonfruit French Toast was a good portion. Toast was crunchy on the outside and delightfully soft on the inside. The syrup that is included on the table is refreshingly warm and not too sweet. A good amount of mango was included and could have used a bit more dragonfruit. The Shrimp 'N City Grits Benedict was also a good portion. The grits are fried like cakes and covered in the eggs and Benedict sauce with a proper portion of shrimp. Not too salty and not too saucy. If you're not into the fried grits, I'd recommend ordering the traditional grits on the side instead of the breakfast potatoes. I know weekends are jam packed but would definitely recommend going here on the weekday mornings before 9 am. read more

I was so impressed with Another Broken Egg that I didn't realise they are a chain! I thought it was a little local spot for a great brunch. I had the lobster and brie omelet with champagne butter sauce, served with an English muffin and crispy, perfectly cooked breakfast potatoes. The omelet was divine! I paired it with their Grand Mimosa. I would've ordered a pitcher of them, as they offer, but my companion didn't want to drink that morning and I didn't want to get tossed on a gallon of them to myself.
