I definitely enjoyed my brunch at this another broken egg. Food came out quick and tasted great and I was really appreciative of how attentive my server Cornelius was. He offered lots of great selections and helped me pick out a great order. I'll definitely be returning again soon. read more

I've tried Another Broken Egg a few times now and I'm pretty certain that ABE is a solid 3 Star. The wait staff was exceedingly helpful and sweet and I couldn't have asked for better service but the food! I had the the Crab cake Benedict and it was just not good, it wasn't bad but it wasn't good either. The crab cake was mushy, a bit fishy and overall nothing special. The poached eggs were ok on average as one was almost perfect and the other was basically raw. The Benedict was topped by a nice hollandaise but the English muffin base tasted oddly sweet and overall the dish was barely warm. The other issue was the iced cold brew which was very weak and even after I requested just plain cold brew to top off as mine was way too sweet and weak the plain cold brew was a milky tea looking mixture. The plating was good everything looked nice it just didn't live up to that in the flavor department. read more

Awesome spot in Citi place. Very Friendly Staff and very well laid out space. Menu is extensive with a wide variety of dishes. Get there early as they fill up fast or wait till after the rush.. I find if you go around 1pm or so you can get a seat easily. Egg Benedict Oscar is a favorite of Mine. With flat iron steak and crab meat. Grilled asparagus is also a greet compliments to this dish. It is like Steak and Eggs on steroids! The crispy potatoes on the side were also EGG-cellent (see what I did there? lol) Huevos rancheros is also and all star dish. I recommend adding the chorizo. Pricing may be a tad igher than your average breakfast but this place is far from your average breakfast spot! and as we all know, you get what you pay for!! We plan to return soon to try some lunch selections read more

Delicious food, good drinks, and good service every time we have gone! Our favorite Saturday brunch spot right now.

I wish I could give this location more stars! To clarify this if only for their Citiplace location. I can't understand why but it has fallen short of impressive time and again. I gave them one final try today since it was directly on my route but with the time it took to order and get my meal I could've traveled to their Perkins location! The hostess was pleasant and sat us quickly but then it was close to 10 minutes before our waitress arrived. She did come with waters in hand, but then it was another large chunk of time before the coffee came. I ordered a standard kids meal and a "healthy option" with a few adjustments (no chilles or cheese, light oil please). The wait was painfully long. With a 18 month old every minute counts When the food finally arrived both orders were missing the English muffins, the bacon with the kids meal was soggy and the omelet was missing the avocado it was supposed to have but was swimming in oil. The eggs were literally dripping with oil. I would have informed our our waitress but she never came back to our table until she brought the ticket. At which time I asked for that missing avocado. She did eventually bring the avocado , with the reason "there was none prepped", however it was already browned. So not sure about that excuse. It's a great location but they've consistently disappointed with service and taste. read more

Another broken egg was delicious! The best part was the bartender Sherron! She was super friendly, attentive and gave excellent recommendations! read more

Went for fathers day breakfast worst dining experience ive had in a while. Took forever to get food. Took forever to just get water. People sat down after us were getting served before us. Ordered crawfish bowl non present they are extinct at this place. Had pitcher of bloody mary just mix. Save frustration pick another place. read more

Let me start off by saying how great it is that the nutrition Information is online. So great. Seriously. Anyways this place is always busy on the weekends for breakfast. It reminds me of a higher grade Waffle House. Service is friendly. Definitely family friendly. Very big menu, not overwhelming though. The food I got looked and smelled so great, better than it tasted. Oh well the parfait was great for sure. I got the mardi gras omelette. It definitely wouldn't be my to go to breakfast place. But if my ONLY choices are Waffle House, ihop or another broken egg, id pick another broken egg. read more

Our Waiter Cornelius was AMAZING! If you go ask for him because he definitely knows what he is talking about when it comes to food and makes sure that you have the BEST experience! I have been here many times and this is by far the best experience I've ever had and he got me hooked on the pepper sauce for the first time....didn't know that even existed here lol. The food was amazing and fast and all of his recommendations were spot on! If I could give him 10 stars I would. We had the crab cake Benny and the short ribs....both AMAZING! Arrive close to 11am on a Saturday (4/22). The line was about 20 minutes, which was expected. Place was full and some groups had clearly been there awhile, drinking and carrying on rather loudly. However, I can't blame the restaurant for that. The menu options are endless, but perhaps that's the chain-restaurant side of it. We ordered a half order of biscuit beignets to start. They were excellent. I ordered the berry pancakes with bacon and eggs, and my fiancé got a biscuit with sausage gravy, potatoes, and two sausage patties. It's not that none of the food was good, in fact the bacon and sausage were great! My pancakes tasted bland, as if from a Cracker Barrel mix. The eggs were runny, not a big deal, but everything else was lukewarm and just average. I expected more from a place I had heard so much about and left slightly disappointed. read more

Excellent place for brunch! They takes eggs to the next level! The portions are large. The coffee is tasty. And you couldn't ask for a nicer staff. It's my go-to place when I have company or sleep in on Saturday. ;) They have revamped the menu! Love the new honey butter. Try the beignets!!!!! They are small enough to pop in your mouth and taste heavenly! read more

So delicious! I got eggs benedict and a side of pancakes for brunch and it was amazing!

Celebrated my cousin's birthday here. Treated her to breakfast. It was delicious! The food was amazing! We will definitely be back!

Long wait on a Sunday morning, but you can't expect much else. Had great service initially, but that stopped. Not enough refills on coffee. Beignets were wonderful: a great option while waiting on the food which took FOREVER! Had to signal for refills on coffee. Sweet potato pancake thin but good. I had the in-house made granola & quinoa which was good, but served in a bowl bigger than my head. It was fine. read more

Just had brunch here with my mom and sister and everything was great, especially the service!!! Cornelius is an A-list attendant. His manners and service is beyond excellent. Please ask for him. I had the Bourbon orleans; was just what I expected, delicious!!! read more

Was disappointed, slow brunch. One seated we were there over a hour, slow service. Staff does not wear masks correctly at all, and manager doesn't show any interest in telling his staff to to correct it. Only good thing is food was great. Have been coming here for years. just getting worse over time. To days lack of Covid safety in Phase 2 was last straw. New brunch spot for us. read more

Not all broken eggs are equal. The service was not great, and the food came out in a multitude of different temperatures and quality. Consistency is an issue here. That said, the food was still good, but was more what I've come to expect from the broken egg restaurants. read more

Before coming here I did not know what to expect since the reviews were either really good or not good at all. I came in and was greeted immediately, I was joined by 5 other people and they made a table for us since they don't have big tables. Our server was nice and I did not even have to ask for refills and made sure we got everything we asked for. I picked the chicken biscuit which was AMAZING! and the pancakes were really good also! Will definitely be coming back! read more

Great service. Great atmosphere. Great waiter (Saxon). There was a slight issue with my mothers meal (put mushrooms in omelette when asked to keep them out) but Saxon and the manager of the day waived the meal and made sure everything was correct. I will come back when I come visit my sister read more

We waited an hour and a half for a party of 10 which 3 of the 10 were kids. They said they couldn't put the tables together but we would be in booths side by side we said ok. They seat us and 8 people can at one table by the bar so we said where do the rest sit. They point all the way across the restaurant. Mind you we've been waiting and they have taken parties of 4 and 5 all morning if we wanted to do that we would have signed up as parties of 4 and 5. We had just had a gender reveal and thought this would be a nice spot to eat at. WRONG!! 5 of us just left. Won't see me again. Nor any recommendations from me. read more

I have never written a bad review in my life. I am compelled to leave one for this location. The manager there is terrible. My family went there to celebrate my son's 18th birthday. My wife ordered the lobster benedict. The food was served quickly. The food was not as advertised. The "lobster" was not lobster but langostino or Crawfish. My wife did not like the sauce and asked the waitress if she could swap it out for something else. The manager there said she could swap it out for the same item with a different sauce. After 30 minutes of waiting and after everyone finished the meal we were brought a to go box. The sauce was in a cup and the "lobster" was scraped off the old meal in a cup covered in the old sauce. The poached egg was barely the size of a half dollar and did not cover 1/3 the english muffin. My wife asked to speak with the manager. The manager was unapologetic. She doubled down on what was served. Nothing was offered. I have been to hundreds of restaurants and never have I been treated worse. AVOID THIS PLACE. There are much better options in Baton Rouge. read more

The staff is stuck up snobs how act better than High maintenance. Food is average at best, decor is sub par for the price. They're other location in Baton Rouge is wayyy better. Door greeter is a complete twit with no knowledge of anything to do with the restaurant read more

The manager said he would sit our party together, but we later found out that they split our party into 2 tables, on other sides of the room. They also gave one of our tables to another group of people. This is very unprofessional, considering that we pre scheduled our reservation. Update: WOW WOW WOW! We're going to Jason's Deli instead. This is just horrible service. They blamed it on the manager being fired, and not the service! read more

I had the cinnamon roll French toast and it was delicious but I saw the strawberry pound cake French toast it looked so good, the sausage was yummy as well. Our waitress was not good she did not come back to check on us very often and our drinks were very low multiple times. read more

We were seated immediately into the section of a highly recommended server. A yummy breakfast spot, our server Mykaiah was fantastic! I got the crab cake Benny, and added avocado, it was savory and very filling! No wait on a Friday morning, our food came out really fast too! Mykaiah was very attentive and nice to talk to, definitely would come here again! read more

The food is great. It can get a little noisy inside but there is an outside eating area.

Drinks came out after food. Server took order and dropped off food, forgot about drinks. Painfully average food for egregious pricing. Sausage was black as could be burnt. Was told 30 min, waited an hour. Never again will I be back. Go somewhere else read more

I doubt I can say much here that hasn't been said by other reviewers so I'll be brief. It's a fun breakfast/brunch spot but expect a wait if you go during busy hours. Everyone was super nice and friendly during our visit with excellent service. The food was good with huge servings. If they didn't stay so dang busy I'd definitely be back. read more

The experience started out nicely with my date and I waiting in a line to be seated with no hostess in sight. After a few minutes, we just sat ourselves at the bar. Food took about 20-25 minutes to come out and tasted like it had just been reheated. With a $15+ price, you'd think the food would taste better than a Wendy's breakfast, but sadly it did not. Please don't waste your time or money here. It'll be better used elsewhere. read more

The food is great at these restaurants and I could tell there was an experienced kitchen staff working today--everything was perfect. The shining star of the place is the staff. All were so friendly from the from door to the servers. Thank you! Next time I'm in town for work, I'll be back. read more
