I've heard good things about this place. Their menu has a good variety of coffee options and specialties neatly laid on a clipboard. I wound up getting a cantina blue (espresso, milk, blueberry layer, and butter pea flower), which tasted pretty good to be honest. The bottom layer had a good blueberry taste to it. There isn't that much seating inside because it's a small interior and lots of students studying. At the back side of the coffee bar, there is some bar seating. With the circular seating at the tree, there is a row of outlets and some by the walls. However, if it's sunny and nice (not raining), I recommend sitting outside for a chat.

El Conquistador

Tried Reve today. The inside is nice and welcoming. There was a line so I assumed everything would be awesome. Seeing that it's a "coffee lab" I was ready to smell the wonderful aroma of coffee beans making its way to a perfect cup. There wasn't a pronounced smell of coffee like most shops. After about a 10 minute line wait to reach the counter, I was greeted warmly by the front staff. Let me add, the wait time was only because it was packed with customers. I ordered an "off the menu" drink (it's not discontinued, it's just not in the menu any more.) the cashier smiled and says nice choice. I ordered the El Conquistador! I was interested in ordering a feta and spinach baked good but I'm not open to ordering or eating food that sits uncovered on the counter right next to where everyone passes and order! With that in mind, I ordered from behind the glass case for a baked good to accompany my coffee choice. I went with the "cake butter pop tart." First the cortado El Conquistador. It was beautiful but the coffee tasted burnt and it wasn't hot merely warm. The cinnamon wasn't truly pronounced and it was bitter but that's probably because the coffee was burnt. The "pop tart" was thick and crusty in texture when bitten and wasn't filled like most hand made pop tarts. It left much to desire. Overall, I'm not sure if I made the best choice with my order today. I was hoping for a quick reminder of my coffee choices as I've had in order locations but today, this coffee shop failed. I'm not sure if I'll visit again or go out of the way to drive down.

I feel so grateful that Reve Coffee Lab is where I turned one of my friends into a London fog lover. I couldn't believe she'd never had one! We arrived on a cooler afternoon in Baton Rouge and wanted something cozy that would give us a little pick me up for our late afternoon to evening working session and a London Fog sounded perfect! Reve served up a delightful cup of creamy early grey milk tea with a hint of lavender that hit the spot. My only complaint was they were all sold out of pastries in the afternoon! I wish they had a few options at least to munch on but we must have missed the rush. Highly recommend if you're in Baton Rouge!

Caramel Cappuchino

This is the best Cappuchino in the city. The sister location to the Lafayette Lab, its the same delicious coffee and pastries. Third wave coffee place at its finest. If you go early in the morning, its perfect coffee ambiance. I become a different, more productive, more creative, and locked in version of myself when I'm sitting at Reve with a cappuchino and a croissant. Unfortunately, during its busy times, it is a sensory nightmare. So loud and tables feel right on top of each other. When its busy, there always seems to be about 40 yoga moms and I cant focus on my shit because I want to know more about Janet's divorce (I'm nosey and like to know the scoop.) But if you catch it when its quiet, its one of my favorite places to write or work.

Got a hazelnut cappuccino and it was PERFECT! Not too sweet, but just enough. Best I've had! So good and the ambiance is really cool. Baristas are very helpful and sweet.

I really enjoy their speciality drinks here. There's always something creative on the menu to try. I like to drop in at least once when I'm visiting Baton Rouge. It's a little small and can feel loud & crowded inside, but there are little outside tables to sit at too and it's nice to walk around the shops in Willow Grove. The workers are nice, but sometimes the service can be slow when they are busy because there are usually only a few people working, so just expect that and temper your expectations :)

Rêve was a really cool little spot! The location is definitely a place I would like to come back and visit! The gentleman that helped us was super personable and knowledgeable. We ordered the burrito, sausage biscuit and cinnamon roll. They were all good, I liked the biscuit better, my husband likes the burrito better and my daughter preferred the cinnamon roll. So it was a win. I would definitely come back to try their coffee!

An adorable coffee shop that gets an A+++ in the aesthetically pleasing category! I love how bright and open this coffee shop is, and the fact that they sell coffee and alcohol! Never seen something like this, so I loved the concept. I stuck to coffee and got the iced coffee add vanilla and almond milk. To me, all coffee tastes the same so it was delicious. I thought the glass it came in was adorable, and it took 2 seconds to make so we weren't waiting long at all. It looked like they had yummy food options, but I didn't get any. This place is in a great part of town, so I am always driving by.

Love love love this place. Their lattes were soooo good. Very nice place to just chill and relax. Fast service.

This place is the definition of a cool study spot! I came here with a friend for the first time and I don't regret it at all. They have plentiful coffee and teas including a bunch of yummy looking bites. The service was super quick considering that this place stays packed with costumers. I got a hot crimson fog for the cold weather and was very satisfied. If you enjoy teas this is a definite try for you. The staff is also very kind with good vibes from all. The cups are also super cute for anyone who dines in. There are plentiful seats as they have an outdoor seating in a small greenery. I will be coming back for more!

We recently visited this coffee shop and tried their iced vanilla lattes, which were really good, though I personally prefer a darker color latte. The highlight for me, though, was their honey butter croissant. It's not a common flavor to find from my experience, and they absolutely nailed it here. The buttery, slightly sweet profile was perfect, and I would definitely come back just for that! A great spot overall, they had tons of good looking food options that I would try next time as well.

The spicy vodka sandwich is very, very good, and it is a very large sandwich. You could split one and both people will walk away happy. Service here is fantastic- refills as soon as you ask and a kind staff, even when there's a rush. I will say there is a little bit of a wait, BUT good food should take time, and that is the case here. PS- the Lebanese Tea is fantastic!

But after looking around for a moment, she found a more descriptive menu. I suppose if you're a regular, that's not an issue. For a first timer, it's weird. I came here with high hopes for an Italian hoagie ("The Italian"). A good Italian hoagie is hard to find in the heart of po-boy country. The meat and cheese on this version is good, but the sandwich is kind of small and a bit dry. The menu says it includes roasted red peppers, but that was missing from my sandwich. It does appear they have a nice variety of bagels. Overall not bad, but I'm still in search of a good Italian hoagie.

The parking is sometimes packed, but you can always park at the adjacent businesses around the corner (I think all of them are closed currently.) It is a bit chaotic inside, but just part of the George's experience! Order at the counter first - I recommend going and grabbing a ticket from the stack they keep at the front and just writing your own order. Saves time from the line as it can sometimes get long. You can't go wrong with your order. On Fridays, get the thin-cut catfish. The classic hamburger and onion rings are delicious. I usually go for the chicken finger plate with fries to keep it simple! Once you sit, they call out names on the orders for when you go back up to pay & pick it up. Sometimes the seating is limited, but you can always find rogue chairs and pull tables together. Go back up to the bar for refills, the girls that work up there are AWESOME and have it running very efficiently back there. Like I said, George's is a true bar food experience. There's always a sports game on, and there's an arcade for the kids to play in (with some tables in it too)! Some of my favorite memories as a kid is playing in the arcade while waiting for our food to come out. I love George's and you can catch me there at least once every month!
