I went with my out of town place to catch up. Great small business pop up. It is inside the pelicans to mars bar so it has inside and out door seating. They only have to-go cups. They don't have a poster with possible seasonal or specialty coffees so check their instagram or ask before you feel limited. If it's cold out probably not the best for big groups and definitely not the place for a sit down study session. read more

Sunday Coffee Run. We sought alternative coffee options beyond our home brew and the usual Starbucks. Today, we visited House Brew, established in 2024, located in Midcity BRLA. Situated in the Arts District, within walking distance to the levee, offering scenic views of the Mississippi River. Open from 7AM-5PM, seven days a week. Notably, coffee beans are roasted fresh on-site. They offer a variety of coffee options. My Beautiful Husband ordered a Latte with Splenda. I ordered a Bananas Foster Latte. With lattes, consistency can be a challenge. Today's experience was decent. My husband's drink was decent but lacked a strong espresso flavor. My drink, although decent, was overpowered by sweetness, which overshadowed the banana foster flavor and drowned out the espresso. So we give it 3 stars for first visit. The coffee was remarkably fresh and smooth, making it a worthwhile visit. Thank you for the brew House Brew Coffee! We will visit again! read more

House brew is awesome! They're dog friendly, so I walk over with my pup everyday. The espresso is AMAZING. And all the beans are freshly roasted by a local place called Smoky Bean.
