3 for friendly staff. Lobster and brie omelette wasn't. Wasn't good, wasn't lobster, wasn't brie. Some weird seafood substitute mush in a terrible hollandaise wannabe sauce topped a sour cream-filled omelette. No way that was brie or lobster. read more

The place is located in a strip mall and from outside looks interesting but inside is well designed and meticulous maintained. We often eat out and look for things that tell you a place is well managed and cared for by the employees as well. The server we had Chris was well spoken and articulate and help us navigate the difficult to understand menu. The food was spectacular, the omelette , French toast pancakes , eggs , bacon. We all we're so impressed we family style shared it all. It had a regular flow of customer who all seems satisfied. If we were local we certainly return. read more

Great breakfast spot in Austin. The wait wasn't too bad, but we decided to sit at the bar without any wait. The bartender was fantastic and the food was perfect! My bride had the Eggs Benedict and I got the Supreme Omelette. Along with a 1/2 order of the biscuit benigns, too much food!!!! The coffee was hot, the milk was cold and my wife's Virgin Bloody Mary was spicy!!! I recommend this joint! read more

The shrimp and grits were ok, would be a better dish with a few large shrimp vs. a lot of the tiny ones. The fried chicken biscuit dish was great. The chicken was tasty and had a good crunch. The blueberry pancake was a great addition to the table. I was disappointed that this place had a long line but with brunch that is expected. Surprisingly we got sat in about 10 mins at 11 am so we were happy to not wait too long. This is a great substitute for a lot of the trendy brunch places in town read more

Great new spot, open just 7 months and hitting it out of the park despite minor missteps from the kitchen and some cleanliness issues. The flavors, which are inspired by Southern Louisiana comfort food provide an inviting palate for anyone looking for good food that is well-seasoned and brings you back to simpler times when food helped make friendships and create family memories. These are recipes you'll easily recognize and enjoy tasting for brunch or lunch. Pros - beignet biscuits, all the breakfast choices including omelettes, pancakes and other favorites. Cons - the kitchen can miss specific details when they are at peak capacity and general cleanliness around the restaurant is amiss. Two single restrooms seem to create a line with patrons waiting. Overall a great find outside the downtown Austin area and hopefully a stop on anyone's visit to the Austin. read more

As we were driving through Austin heading South we decided to stop by due to reviews. We were NOT disappointed. Everything ordered was first class and yummy. Anna provided sweet hospitable service and it felt like we were eating at a cousin's kitchen. Too bad we are not locals since we would put it on our breakfast date rotations. The only area of opportunity might be in the coffee bean. My wife and I both thought it was a little bitter compared to some of the other breakfast blends/blondes we are used to. Again good coffee, but not great the day we stopped by. Everything else was A+! read more

A delightful place for breakfast. I had the decadent Cinnamon Roll French Toast. My wife had eggs and a biscuit and our other parties split a spinach omelet. The service was great, too. Taste is always on point and I love all the options they have but the wait times are crazy!! Every after putting your name on the waitlist via phone and then driving there at the specified time , you still end up waiting anywhere between 40 to 90 mins. It does get a little less busier closer to their closing time in the noon. But as mentioned before; foods always been tasty and portions are a good size so I guess waiting can be worth it (if you aren't super hungry) read more

The prices are post pandemic prices and the food isn't that fancy. But I did like the ambiance. My friend ordered a basic egg and bacon, fruit cup and sausage. She didn't care for the sausage. This is the first time I do a review on Another broken egg restaurant even though we have eaten at over a dozen of them in 4 states, but this time it feels a review was needed largely in part by how awesome our waiter Jack was. The strawberry mimosas were out of this world, normally we go for the grapefruit, but Jack took the time to explain how the strawberry ones were made so we decided to try it out and it was well worth it. I wish I had taken more pictures, but the food was so good, there was no time for that. We had the Shrimp Benny and the Hashbrown Benny, as well as a small stack of pancakes, and although we were both full, we couldn't stop eating because the thought of such delicious food going to waste was heartbreaking. Overall, a great food experience made better just by the fact that we had someone as exceptional as Jack to help with the overall experience. Next time we are in Austin, we are definitely coming back! read more

The house-made blueberry preserves? Unreal. The local honey and butter? I could have eaten them with a spoon. My mouth is literally watering just thinking about it. Then came the cinnamon roll--crispy, golden edges with that gooey center that makes you involuntarily close your eyes and do a little happy food dance. We also shared The Old Fashioned biscuit sandwich, featuring house-made sausage that was so good it made us question all other sausage. Absolute gems--Mark & Marie were warm, welcoming, and genuinely happy to have us there. It felt more like breakfast at your favorite relative's house than a restaurant visit. Perfect Birthday Celebration at Roaring Fork!…read more On Sunday I celebrated my birthday at Roaring Fork with my family, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The food was outstanding, and the view overlooking the quarry made the evening even more special. One of our favorite perks was that Happy Hour is available all day on Sundays. We started with a traditional margarita, a mango margarita, and a few mocktails, all of which were excellent. For appetizers, we shared the shrimp cocktail, fresh guacamole, and chicken flatbread. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and a great way to begin the meal. For our entrées, I ordered the cedar-planked salmon with miso soy glaze, and it was absolutely delicious. The salmon was perfectly cooked and practically melted in my mouth. My partner enjoyed the same dish and loved it as well. My youngest daughter ordered the New York strip steak with mashed potatoes, her boyfriend chose the ribeye steak with French fries (they definitely have expensive taste!), and my other daughter had the grilled rainbow trout. Every dish was beautifully prepared and thoroughly enjoyed. The red wine paired perfectly with our meal, and the staff graciously allowed us to bring a birthday cake, which made the celebration even more memorable. Between the exceptional food, beautiful atmosphere, great drinks, and attentive service, it was the perfect birthday celebration. I highly recommend Roaring Fork for a special occasion or a relaxing Sunday meal with family and friends.

This happened at Roaring Fork, but it also happens 95% of the time I go out to dinner. Then the food comes, you eat, say no to dessert, and voilà: the check is waiting for you! Again, you can't just sit back and relax, take your time deciding whether you want dessert, maybe order a coffee or another drink. They want you out of there ASAP, and somehow you're still expected to tip 20%, which is ludicrous, but this is another conversation. Now, specifically regarding Roaring Fork, I do wonder what actually constitutes a "fancy" place. What is it? The view of the lake isn't exactly impressive. The inside is cute. Does having a cute interior make a place fancy, is that it? Or is it the high-priced menu? There's no bread offered at the table, nothing particularly special. I am genuinely lost when it comes to what makes a place "nice" these days.

**Extremely Disappointing Visit**…read more My visit today was extremely disappointing. I was promptly greeted and seated, and unfortunately, that is where the good customer service ended. After being seated, I was not acknowledged by anyone. I was not offered a "good morning," water, coffee, or even asked if I needed anything. I sat at my table for approximately 15 minutes before I finally got up and asked to speak with a manager. What made the situation even more frustrating was watching customers who arrived **10-15 minutes after me** get acknowledged, served water, and offered coffee while I continued to sit there without any attention. The staff repeatedly walked past my table on their way to the kitchen. I noticed several of them look directly toward my table, yet no one stopped to acknowledge me or provide service. At that point, it was very difficult not to feel as though I was being intentionally overlooked. When I spoke with the manager, she explained that there were internal issues between the waitstaff that were contributing to the problem in my section. I understand that restaurants can have internal staffing challenges, but those issues should never become the customer's problem. Whatever was happening behind the scenes, I was the customer sitting there without service. I also want to be honest about something that made this experience particularly uncomfortable. I was the only person of my race that I noticed in the restaurant. I cannot say with certainty that race had anything to do with how I was treated, and I don't want to make an accusation without evidence. However, **I can say how the experience made me feel**. I felt ignored, overlooked, and singled out. Customer Service Index (CSI), customer satisfaction, and reviews are extremely important to businesses and their corporate offices. Experiences like this are exactly how a restaurant loses a customer who otherwise may have returned and recommended the establishment to others. I don't expect special treatment. I expect the same basic courtesy and level of service that every customer deserves: a greeting, acknowledgment, water, coffee, and reasonable attention after being seated. Unfortunately, that did not happen today, and it completely ruined what should have been an enjoyable breakfast experience. I hope management and the corporate office take this seriously--not simply as one unhappy customer's complaint, but as an opportunity to examine what happened, why it happened, and how situations like this can be prevented in the future.

And they picked the most perfect table that was tucked away in its own little private area but you could still see everything that was going on in the restaurant. Chef's kiss! Our server was so friendly and fun and everything came out at the right time and on time. It's Italian so of course I ordered a red wine, Cabernet to be exact. We ordered a few shareable bites for the table and I really enjoyed the bruschetta and the meatballs! For dinner I had the butter lettuce salad (so good!) and then a butternut squash ravioli that was absolutely amazing. I would order that again and again and again but... Review for Juliette's Restaurant - Arboretum Location…read more On August 7, 2026, my husband and I visited Juliette's in the Arboretum, and unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. The food itself was just alright -- nothing memorable or worth praising -- but the real issue was the environment and how we were made to feel. We were seated in a secluded area of the restaurant, noticeably apart from the main dining space. As the evening went on, we saw that nearly all the guests being ushered into the main area were Caucasian, while we remained the only minority couple placed off to the side. It was hard not to feel singled out. Our primary waitress was wonderful -- kind, attentive, and professional. However, when another staff member brought out our food, she looked at us and said, "Why you all hiding?" My husband almost responded, but I stopped him. She did not know that her comment hit a sore spot, especially when we didn't choose to be seated away from everyone else. As more guests arrived, the pattern continued: they were guided to the main dining area while we remained isolated. The entire experience felt discriminatory, and it left us with the impression that we were not "good enough" for the rest of the restaurant. My husband still left a generous tip because we believe in treating service staff fairly -- regardless of how we are treated. We will not be returning to this location. Perhaps the Barton Springs restaurant is different, but the Arboretum site left us feeling unwelcome. Even the promotional photos for this location show no minority representation, which sadly aligns with how we were made to feel. I do not recommend this restaurant at this site.

We requested the manager stop by to tell him about the issue with the reservation and the fact that his hostess needs additional training, and surprise, the manager was also not helpful. When I arrived, there was plenty of parking available. They had a private room space reserved for our group. The servers were friendly and attentive to our needs. I ordered the Caesar salad and filet cooked rare with flash fried green beans and paired it with a mezcal cocktail. The filet that I was served was a bit smaller than others, but my filet was cooked as requested and topped with butter. The filet was tender and exactly the protein I needed before race day. The green beans were so flavorful and had the perfect texture. The Smokey and the Bramble cocktail featured Fósforo Ensamble Mezcal, Bombay Sapphire Gin, lemon juice, blackberry purée, and club soda. When we needed more, it was brought without hesitation -- and then quietly added to the bill. If the ratio of fondue to bread is that mismatched, maybe adjust the portioning instead of nickel‑and‑diming guests for something that should accompany the dish in the first place. The steaks were a consistent miss. A New York Strip ordered medium rare came out closer to medium, and both the bone‑in ribeye and the filet followed the same pattern. The flavor was fine, but every cut was cooked past the requested doneness, which defeats the point of ordering specific temperatures at a steakhouse. The chicken fried chicken was decent but forgettable, with the texture of something that spent a little too long under a heat lamp while the steaks were being overcooked. Nothing about it stood out. Aside from the amazing fondue, nothing reached the level of exceptional -- and in a city surrounded by genuinely great steakhouses, this felt like exactly what my associates expected when they pushed for a chain instead. The whole experience fit the standard chain‑restaurant aesthetic a little too well. And since this is another Landry's property, I'm already prepared for the standard corporate message they paste under every non‑glowing review. I've seen it enough times recently to recite it, so they can save themselves the keystroke.

From the moment I walked in, the ambience set the tone for what would be an unforgettable dining experience -- warm, welcoming, and just the right touch of cozy sophistication that makes you want to settle in and stay awhile. The space felt like autumn wrapped in elegance. Let's talk service -- top-tier. Attentive without being overbearing, knowledgeable without pretense. Every recommendation felt personal, and each dish was delivered with care and perfect timing. Now, the food. Wow. The shrimp and grits? Next level. Creamy, perfectly seasoned, and rich with flavor -- easily one of the best renditions I've ever had. The corned beef and Brussels hash was equally outstanding -- a genius combination of textures and flavors that had me savoring every bite. But the showstopper? The pumpkin crumb cheesecake waffle. Just saying it doesn't do it justice. It was decadent, beautifully spiced, and paired perfectly with their pumpkin old-fashioned -- a cocktail so well-balanced and autumnal, it deserves a standing ovation of its own. The Fall Harvest Menu is a masterpiece, and every bite felt like a celebration of the season. If you're looking for a place that delivers on atmosphere, flavor, and impeccable service -- this is it. read more

I arrived on a Saturday morning at 8 AM, and the wait was not too bad. The restaurant's website has a waiting list, which helped ease the waiting process. Upon entering the restaurant, I was greeted by a lively and casual atmosphere that was both inviting and welcoming. The interior had a lovely country, rustic feel that added to the overall ambiance. The service was impeccable, and the staff exuded Southern charm. They were attentive, friendly, and made my dining experience all the more enjoyable. For my meal, I ordered the Crab Cake Benedict, which consisted of jumbo lump crab cakes on an English muffin, topped with poached eggs, andouille-infused hollandaise, red peppers, and green onions. While the crab cake was a bit on the salty side, the dish was pretty good overall. I also tried the Mardi Gras omelette, which was stuffed with crawfish and shrimp and came in generous portions. The omelette was tasty and satisfying. Overall, I would definitely consider returning to this restaurant to try out other menu items. The food was good, the service was excellent, and the ambiance was delightful. It was a wonderful dining experience that I would highly recommend to other foodies out there. read more

If you're looking for a comforting post-church brunch, Another Broken Egg Cafe hits the mark. The cozy atmosphere makes it an easy choice. We started with the Beignet Biscuits, which were sweet and savory. A soft and flaky interior with a crunchy exterior, the biscuits had a nice balance of sweetness and saltiness, especially when adding the orange marmalade. A treat for anyone with a sweet tooth! The English muffins were good and buttery, though they could've used a bit more toasting. The apple sausage was smoky and sweet, a perfect pairing with the dish. The potatoes were tasty but could've been a little crispier. The Supreme Scrambler was rich and decadent, with mushrooms adding a savory depth to the hearty mix of meats. It's a heavier dish that'll keep you satisfied. Overall, Another Broken Egg Cafe is a great spot for a relaxed, satisfying brunch, whether you're craving something sweet or savory. read more

Sitting here, first time eating here. The selection is large, the food looks great. Wait times are long, but we got on the wait list and did most of our waiting at home. Cheyenne is our waitress today. She is very sweet, super nice, and knowledgeable of the menu. I ordered the Lemon Custard Stuffed French Toast, but didn't want the eggs/sausage that comes with it. She said since it's seasonal they can't just send the French Toast. Kinda frustrating, but it's not her fault. My husband and I wound up sharing an entree. The atmosphere is ok - it's a small building with a TON of people packed inside. If you're looking for a quiet place to eat, this is not it. Prices are a little high, but quality is great. Another Broken Egg is a fantastic spot for a Sunday brunch with your little one! Arriving around 10 AM, we were swiftly seated, only waiting about 10 minutes despite the growing crowd. Every bite was good. Suddenly I looked down and saw an object that in my French toast. It was a top from the whipped cream (I'm assuming) . It was definitely a plastic top. I did let the waitress know. My dish was remade. The manager made it right and I didn't have to pay for it.!! Overall my experience here was good and my food was good. Even with the mishap, it was no argument. It was a simple apology and correction (love it) I'll be back

A friendly hostess greeted us as we arrived inside to order. The Ukrainian decorations were incredibly interesting to view. The coffee was good, with a choice of milk - Califa Farms oat milk, whipping cream or almond milk. I didn't eat the croissant, but it looked very good. As an additional plus, the had a large jug of infused water with slices of grapefruit and lemon. Very refreshing! Our group sat outside to chat and play Loteria, a Mexican bingo-like game.

But honestly, I could have eaten this alone without the biscuits and garnishes. But no, we don't want to do that because all the ingredients together make it one of a kind. So I most definitely want the extras! The veg chicken had the perfect meaty taste and texture. To top it off, it was very crispy on the outside. It's a big breakfast sandwich with so much flavor. You'll need a big bite for this one. The biscuits are also a standalone; they have the right amount of flavor, softness, and flakiness. I like that it's not the perfect round biscuit. It's more of a square with soft edges. Also, this is a sit-outdoors place with a lot of shade. It's pretty out there, and it's in the perfect neighborhood. I enjoyed watching the comings and goings up and down Koening Street. I want to add that you don't need to worry about parking; it's easy. People are always coming and going, so you'll definitely have a space.

To top it off, the couple (at least I think) that run this place are so friendly. You can tell, they have been doing this for some time and love what they do. This is not your typical restaurant. They are a cafe within a office building complex that clearly focuses on the buildings within. They service breakfast and lunch every day at prices you can't find anywhere else. They also have a daily lunch special offering. Servings are large and made fresh to order. Personally, the breakfast tacos have been my go to lately, but the french fries were wonderfully crispy on my last order and would be reason enough to come back.
