Extremely rude servers. Did not refill drinks. We ordered Crab Angels for appetizer and it was stale and not fresh or crispy. When I told the server, she was extremely rude about it and went and started talking crap to the manager too. We also ordered Pad Kee Mao Medium Spicy and it was extremely spicy. Our server never came back to check up on us and argued with us instead. There was no one at the location when we came in and only one family was there when we left. Now we know why. Poor poor poor service by one waitress. Kept arguing with the customer and then call them names and then telling customer that he is the one with an attitude . Would not go get manager after we repeatedly ask for them. Still standing there arguing loudly with the customer, and wouldn't stop . Still calling the customer names and that he has an attitude. The staff enjoys insulting customers in their language, unfortunately for them my wife understands the language and knows what they said about people. Terrible yet again. This is the other Thai restaurant I tried. I ordered a Thai tea and was told after I paid they were out. How are you out?!?! I got Tum Kha Gai, usually a good way to test a Thai restaurant and their ability to develop flavors. Here they failed miserably. As I said in my other post, this is a Thai restaurant that is pandering to Americans. They just assume we are dumb and don't know out flavors. They load it with crap and make it an American Chinese food hybrid, which physically makes me ill. Stay away, go downtown and get real Thai food. read more

I normally do not write reviews on yelp but I was so surprised that this restaurant didn't have amazing reviews so I felt the need to contribute. This is by far my favorite Thai place in the area. I have not come across a place that makes pad Thai better than Anothai. Every person I have recommended has left satisfied and I will continue to recommend it to friends. In addition to this, you get such a huge portion for what you pay. I can never eat one serving in one sitting so with one serving I will always have leftovers! This has been our regular family restaurant for a couple of years. We sometimes eat in, and other times like tonight, to go. If we are eating in, we love the deep fried crispy catfish. Not a great dish to takeaway because it's no longer crispy when you get home. Our usuals are pad kra pow (Stir fried beef with basil), eggplant fried with tofu and green curry chicken. There's three level of spiciness: mild, medium and Thai spicy. For the kiddos' sake, we usually go with medium. When mangoes are in season, the sticky rice with mangoes is more-ish!! The food is good, BUT the downer is that they charge for extra rice! Okay, I order around 4-5 dishes and they give me one small styrofoam container of rice. WTF? How can my family and I eat curry without enough rice? For shame on you Anothai. Do you expect me to drink my curry? That is highway to saltyville! I am asian so I know how much Jasmine rice cost. Forking over some rice for customers will not hurt you. You see how the Chinese and Vietnamese places give you a huge container of rice, yet you ffeel that we should drink our curry. Maybe the people who do not like rice prefer to enjoy curry that way but us Asians top it on rice. LOTS of it. And you know, making us happy will get you more visits and spending from me. Cheap atmosphere as well as the food. The lunch special they had was pitiful. The lemon grass soup had barely 4 sips in the cup. I asked for siracha sauce. They said we don't carry it had have our own chill paste. I gave it a shot and it was terrible, very watered down. The entree I had was panang curry, and the curry was good but the beef was undercooked. This place uses paper table clothes and cheap 99 cents napkins. I have only actually sat down to eat here once. The food was fantastic but the service was lacking. Our waitress was not very attentive. I have loved the food I have tried here. I have only experienced noodles or fried rices because those are my go-to favorites. What I really love about this place is you could customize the add ons and level of spiciness (I like it very spicy). So it is vegetarian and maybe even vegan friendly because you could easily switch out the meats with tofu or veggies, or mixed! The portions are very generous, I usually take a little bit more than half home to enjoy later. The flavors are so goood. Very disappointed, However it is my fault I have tired the good before a year ago and was very unhappy. I was hoping something had changed. The food is bland no flavor. I feel like It was a waste my of money. They even could not make a Thai iced coffee. I should probably preface this review by letting everyone know this is the only Thai restaurant that I go to so it's quite possible there is better out there but I really like the food here. I always thought that I hated Thai food from a few encounters I had in the past but decided to try this place on a whim and I'm so glad I did. The Pad Kee Mao is my favorite and I usually just stick with that. My husband tends to be a little more adventurous in exploring the menu and has liked everything that he has tried. I'm even coming around on Pad Thai, which is a dish that I have always claimed that I hate. One thing about Anothai is that it is really more of a take out place. I ate in the restaurant once and it was dead, resulting in that creepy, empty restaurant feeling that's so uncomfortable throughout the whole meal. I would recommend it as a cheap meal when you really don't feel like cooking dinner. We usually order an entree and an appetizer and it's plenty for the two of us and quite reasonable. I was unprepared for the spices in the soup. I was not offered a spice rating for my curry and I really wish I had because the curry was not spicy at all. My friend ordered the orange chicken and it had to be the worst orange chicken I've ever seen. The sauce was completely off the chicken was hard. The rice was also very bland. For dessert we ordered the sweet rice and mango. The rice was crunchy and he mango was sour and saturated in sweetened coconut milk. I absolutely love anothai! The interior set up is all red and is very pretty along with roses on each table! The food can be a little pricey but the portions are very generous and the staff is very friendly! I dont think I could eat one serving by myself because they have so much food.The tables are set so that you can draw on them which was good because I came with my younger brother who got bored waiting for the food. My favorite menu is definitely pad thai and their orange chicken! This time I got something different and got pad see ew. It was Very savory and crunchy and the pad see noodles have so much flavor in them. I always get mine a little spicy and the peanut sauce in the orange chicken and the pad see sauce complimented each other really well. They also had vegetables in each dish which was very refreshing since the meal may have been a little greasy without it. Definitely recommend this place!!! read more

Just had lunch at the Louetta location. Ordered the Veggie Delight. It came with a bowl of spicy soup and a delicious spring roll. Included with the dish were, carrots, red bell peppers, mushrooms, green beans, tomatoes, cabbage and broccoli adding the meat of your choice. Rice cooked perfectly. Based on other reviews, was really looking forward to trying here. Monday nite-just one other party seated. Bright, clean setting. Waitresses were super friendly, attentive. The tables are even set with folded cloth napkins. They're BYOB. Everything is great...except the food. In fairness, it was my first time, so we just ordered with a mild spice level to start.
