Besides Vietnamese Street food, they served sushi and Chinese cuisine. I ordered the BBH and shaggy dog roll. I'm surprised they do not hv the fermented shrimp paste to go with the BBH. How can you eat Bun Bon Hue without shrimp paste? Anyway, I'm happy it has pork blood which is my favorite. The meat is tough and overcooked. I am not very impressed with tbe sushi Roll too.not something I will order again.

I went here with my husband he ordered pho which was really good but I on the other hand ordered some sushi and got a little surprise it had a very visible hair on top , The staff did offer to remake it but eh I just preferred not to.

Upon entering, there's no host to seat you. You just choose a table you want to sit at. The waiter/waitress will come bring you the menu. There are many selections to choose from and there's also vegan options if you're vegan. The service was really fast! We got our food around 10-15 minutes after ordering. My wife had the vegetarian pho and she said it tasted ok. There wasn't enough flavor to it. I had the C13: (Steamed Rice with Shredded Pork Skin, Lemon-grass Pork Chop, and Fried Shrimp Cake). It tasted good, but it wasn't the best I've eaten of the same kind. We also ordered the Crab Puff appetizer. It was too greasy so it was hard to finish it. The sweet tea drink tasted amazing! So I definitely recommend the sweet tea drink. Other than that, the atmosphere of the restaurant was chill and casual. The price was reasonable and not that expensive.

This is the lady sizing us up because we didn't like the veggie soup & she wants to charge us for it

Absolutely delicious foods! The service is very nice, too. Let's try some Pho or Vietnamese rice with beef here!

I was happy to get a booth dining alone. There were a few customers there but it was not super busy. It was a clean and calm environment. I ordered the spring rolls and beef Pho. The spring tops were fresh and crispy just the way I like it. Although it was fried it wasn't greasy. My large Pho came out and it had nice flavor on its own. I asked for some chilli oil and the waitress promptly bought some out. My eyes were definitely bigger than my stomach because I had to take more than half to go. It's a win for me because I love left over Pho! I will say my entire dining experience was excellent. The price aligned with the quality food and service. I will definitely be back.

I'm always on the hunt to try new Vietnamese spots and sometimes have to travel to The Woodlands…read morefor work and thought that I would give Pho Viet Tastes a try due to high ratings on Yelp. Searching for a banh mi sandwich with tofu for a quick lunch takeout, I was pleased to see that the restaurant was close to interstate 45 for a quick stop on the way back to Houston (timing is everything to beat the traffic in this area - IYKYK). I ended up ordering both the tofu vermicelli and a tofu banh mi because obviously, you need to try more than one thing. It was fine. Out of the two dishes, the vermicelli was my favorite. It came with a generous portion of noodles, a small lettuce and shredded carrot salad, several large wedges of tofu in a kind of curry sauce, and the classic vermicelli sauce to drizzle over the whole dish. The flavor was good, although what I would consider a slight deviation from traditional flavors, and overall filling. Vermicelli is always a dependable choice and I was satisfied with this dish. The tofu banh mi, however was nothing special. I prefer the bread to be a bit more crispy on the outside with a soft interior and this one was fairly soft all over. Inside, the tofu really needed more seasoning, seemingly cooked without any added flavors except for the fried finish. I added some hoisin sauce but still it needed something more. I'm always eager to try new places but not sure that this one will be a repeat for me.

The food was very good!…read more I was hesitant at first because some of the menu seemed to be fusion items. In a place like Houston, where you can get authentic Vietnamese food, this can be a luck draw if the fusion pays off. However, when I tried the food, it was a very flavorful and worth every cent I spent. Everything was very tasty. The wings were flavorful and crisp. It had a combination of crispy skin seasoned with a rich sauce. The meat was also moist. For a party of two, it was also very shareable because they gave six pieces -both drums and wings. I will say that you really gotta to get in there get your hands and face dirty though! (They did provide a hand wipe!) For the main dishes, the won tonic soup was very flavorful with sweet-and-sour elements with egg noodles that soaked up all this good flavor. The wontons inside were very standard. And the onion was added to provide some balance. Everything was very hardy and filling. My friend had gotten the vermicelli. Which came with crunchy egg rolls, shredded veggies, noodles, and shrimp topped with a fish sauce. It felt very light and refreshing with a balance of textures and savory elements'. Highly recommend as the number one and two selling dishes - it would just depend on if you're in a soup or dry noodle sort of mood. Service was overall fast and friendly. You have to pay by going to the counter. We had a newer waiter though, and it took him a long time to get our orders correctly and he had to get some help. Hopefully they're doing well, but overall, it's a very cute Homie little establishment. Seating fits around 30 around booths and tables.
