This place has gone down in quality. There has been an investment in technology but the food isn't good. I ordered an egg roll and pork vermicelli plate which I often had. The person taking the order could barely speak English or understand it. When I got my order it was over $17 which is high. I thought oh well. The new technology card reader didn't work and had to be rebooted several times. Something told me to check my to go order. She had placed it for a vermicelli plare/ salad with fried egg on top! When I explained i ordered it with egg rolls like on the menu. She apologized and took it into the kitchen. In a moment she returned and the egg was gone but I had 1 egg roll the width of my little finger and not much longer. I gave up, paid and left The pork was like stewed pork not grilled. Besides Vietnamese Street food, they served sushi and Chinese cuisine. I ordered the BBH and shaggy dog roll. I'm surprised they do not hv the fermented shrimp paste to go with the BBH. How can you eat Bun Bon Hue without shrimp paste? Anyway, I'm happy it has pork blood which is my favorite. The meat is tough and overcooked. Upon entering, there's no host to seat you. You just choose a table you want to sit at. The waiter/waitress will come bring you the menu. There are many selections to choose from and there's also vegan options if you're vegan. The service was really fast! We got our food around 10-15 minutes after ordering. My wife had the vegetarian pho and she said it tasted ok. There wasn't enough flavor to it. I had the C13: (Steamed Rice with Shredded Pork Skin, Lemon-grass Pork Chop, and Fried Shrimp Cake). It tasted good, but it wasn't the best I've eaten of the same kind. We also ordered the Crab Puff appetizer. It was too greasy so it was hard to finish it. The sweet tea drink tasted amazing! So I definitely recommend the sweet tea drink. Other than that, the atmosphere of the restaurant was chill and casual. The price was reasonable and not that expensive. read more

We decided to try out a new place to eat! My family loves the same places and I wanted to venture out. We came here with family friends today. I really enjoyed it. The menu has many cuisine options. Vietnamese, Japanese, and Chinese at one place. I ordered stir-fry Chicken Udon. It was delicious. My mom got the seafood pho. My friends got sushi and we all shared a few appetizers: crispy eggrolls, spring rolls, and chicken satay. We all left very full but happy. I'll be coming here more now. So I've ordered food from this location a few times now, an every time I feel pretty disappointed. The food isn't bad, it's nothing special but enjoyable for the most part. The main gripe I have is how skimpy they are on their portions for what they charge. The first time I went there I ordered a meat an rice dish that was supposed to come with a few sides. Didn't get much meat, mostly rice; they said they were out of one of the sides I wanted so they asked if I'd like two egg rolls instead, I agreed for that an they literally cut one egg roll in half an called it two separate sides. Note that these weren't overly large egg rolls, they were small, so I baffled that they did that. The next time I ordered food from there all I wanted was some crab puffs, it was basically all fried batter with a tiny amount of cream cheese crab stuffing, probably the size of a marble. Like I get the point in cutting costs, but this place is pretty ridiculous. read more

So I love pho, but about 18 months ago (think Hurricane Harvey) we stopped eating "meat", and I have been craving pho ever sense. If I could give a lower rating I would, this restaurant's service was slow, extremely unorganized and the food is overpriced for the portions the PHO was ok a little bland but whatever you do don't get the hot and sour soup it tastes like fish. I don't know what happen here, but today was terrible. Wasn't busy at all yet I witnessed 3 different tables send there food back for various reasons. One table sent there food back 3 times alone and finally got up and left when there order was wrong after the 3rd time. Rice came out after 30 min an was not hot or fresh tasting. Pho never came out at all. We had to make sure the waitress took it off our bill. Won't be coming back and wouldn't recommend anyone else until they get it together. read more

I really dont like bashing people's bussiness, however, after so many times supporting this place, I really gotta say something. I ordered a small bowl of pho couple days ago and i was surprised. The portion was very little, only half the container of the 32oz and 5 small slices of rare beef. The price was $8.95, I gave them $10 without changes back because I am not a bad tipper. But it really disappointed by having such a small quantity of pho for such a prize. I hope the owner could really understand the standard of qualitative and quantitiative because we could find another place with $10 bowl of pho and taste delicious. I've been ordering from another local Chinese food restaurant and sushi bar and now I know what I've been missing. I ordered from DoorDash for delivery a shaggy dog sushi roll, order of the Vietnamese spring rolls, small wonton soup, and small hot and sour soup. The sushi was fantastic and fresh cold ingredients. The wonton soup is some of the best that I've ever had and will definitely order the large next time. My co-worker had the hot and soup and had the same review of it as I did of the wonton. Let me start with the positives: restaurant was very clean, had a nice atmosphere, and the food was priced well. The food itself was very very good! Sushi was made fresh to order, the hot and sour soup was excellent. The pho was excellent as well the broth had that rich aromatic flavor that you look forward to in good pho! The negatives: service was awful.....initially there was myself and my spouse at One table and at another table there were 3-4 Officers who had already been served and were Mostly done eating. They had one server who was extremely slow. Forgot to put in the order for the pho with the other entree sushi that my husband ordered. She brought my husband his Diet Coke and then it was about 10 minutes before she brought me my basic water that i had asked for. When she dropped off the appetizer grilled beef spring rolls she brought no plates, no utensils, no napkins. She basically put the plate on the table and walked away for a while and when she walked out to walk past us and go to the one other occupied Table we hadn't touched our appetizer and we had to catch her eye to get her to come over and ask her for basic eating supplies. My husbands sushi came out and about seven minutes later we again had to get her attention to ask about my bowl of pho. She rushed to the back and there was a lot of noise and about ten minutes later I finally had my Dinner after my Husband was mostly done with his. In short food good, service bad! Only go when you have two hours to spend in an empty restaurant and be ready to micromanage your meal. read more

My family has tried to like this place several times. The food quality has gotten worse over time and anytime you (the customer) have a concern it's somehow your fault. It's your fault the sushi is bad. It's your fault the pho broth is old. It's your fault the shrimp is overcooked, etc... The staff is rude and incompetent. They can't take basic direction then get upset with you when they make a mistake. Example: I ordered pork spring rolls once and they gave me shrimp. They were so upset when I asked them to make what I actually ordered. They then repackaged the pork spring rolls in the same styrofoam clamshell the shrimp was previously in. I could tell because the tab was torn and the clamshell was closed with a rubber band. I'm allergic to shrimp. That ordeal seemed to be my fault in their eyes. To summarize, you will NOT have a good experience here so go anywhere else instead. Asian restaurants are a plenty in all of Houston. It's time Pho N Sushi realizes people have options and deserve better treatment. read more

Sooo...they wear MASKS WHILE PREPARING YOUR YUMMY FOOD, handling it, and serving! The food is delicious and super fresh. We always have a large and weird off the grid way we like our pho prepared and they don't miss a beat. Be patient w this time though. Covid is making things a bit longer, but worth the wait. I like that they take the time to serve up safely. Not sure if they bring out to the curb, we pick up inside (only place that we do)! I recommend the filet mignon pho and any vermicelli dish. So they have false advertisement! I went to their website to order food and the site said minimum of $15 for delivery. When I called to order my total was $18.50. They said they wouldn't deliver because it wasn't $20. I explained that THEIR menu said a minimum of $15 and that I was well over that. The guy on the phone said oh ok. Then some women in the back said no because it wasn't $20. So I declined because of their false advertisement and lack of customer service! You lost a customer over $1.50. Smh. If you are going to change your policy you should change what your site says or honor it, customer service101! Would not recommend this place to my coworkers who love pho.
