Beignets (with honey on the side)

It's been a challenge finding a banh mi in The Woodlands area, but Yelp did me right in recommending this spot! Both the chicken and beef banh mi were perfection. Perfect bread is a must, and these sandwiches deliver. Beyond that the meat was tender, marinated and delicious, the butter was abundant, the veggies were crispy (some pickled for the perfect balance of acid), and the jalapeño spicy. The cherry on top of the experience was the beignets! I've added this spot to my beignet list, which now boasts 2 North Houston gems. Born during Covid, this hidden hotspot is certainly worth a stop in.

3.5 honestly. The inside decor was nothing special, mostly felt like a big empty space with tables around. When we got there we were told to pick our own table and they came and gave us menus. The menus were so stiff and would just keep folding closed if you didn't hold down. The food was kind of pricy and just basic and bland. Nothing really stood out and I probably wouldn't remember to try this place again.

Fast service! Delicious Vietnamese cuisine! The bacon rangoon was filled with cream cheese and jalapeños!! Environment is peaceful and quiet .

This place is amazing!!!!!! Tanner and I stopped in for a quick bite, inside is clean fresh and inviting! The food beyond good, we got the chargrilled chicken rolls to start and then for the chicken banh mi sandwiches he added egg to his but these were fantastic. Friendly service and prices were all a bonus.

Yes I'm glad to report they do have pho and bahn mi out in the burbs. And ya know what, it wasn't all that bad. Got the P2 (filet mignon) pho and a grilled pork bahn mi with fried egg on top for $1.50 more. Also got some bacon jalapeño Rangoon. Everything was pretty good although the wonton wrappers on the Rangoon tasted a bit chewy. On the way out was some prepackaged chocolate chip cookies by "Eve". Staff says it's the owners and suggested heating it up in the microwave for a minute before consuming. So being an All Star Yelp Elite and all, I just felt it's my Elite duty to get one.

Our local Viet place was closing so we were looking for alternatives and I'm so glad we came here. I'll keep it brief: the restaurant was easy to find, there was plenty of parking, the menu was straightforward, the chicken banh mi and spring rolls were excellent, and the food all came out at a reasonable time after ordering. We'll be back!

Cool little spot worth the PHO! Cool spot nestled in the shopping center with various seating choices and selections. Food is tasty and service personnel are always checking up on you. Very serviceable and friendly

3.75. A2. Spring Rolls (2 rolls) ($5) - 3.5/5 Little smaller than what I'm used to but still good. G7. Grilled Shrimp, Beef, Egg Rolls ($15) - 4/5 Beef and shrimp had great flavors. Had all the standard stuff and the extra egg roll on the side was nice to have. B3. Grilled Pork Sandwich ($7) - 3.75/5 Pork was well flavored but there was barely any mayo on the bread. The bread was also not as good as other places and it was lacking enough pickled items to bring out the sweet/sour flavor. Would come back to try the pho.

The food was very good!…read more I was hesitant at first because some of the menu seemed to be fusion items. In a place like Houston, where you can get authentic Vietnamese food, this can be a luck draw if the fusion pays off. However, when I tried the food, it was a very flavorful and worth every cent I spent. Everything was very tasty. The wings were flavorful and crisp. It had a combination of crispy skin seasoned with a rich sauce. The meat was also moist. For a party of two, it was also very shareable because they gave six pieces -both drums and wings. I will say that you really gotta to get in there get your hands and face dirty though! (They did provide a hand wipe!) For the main dishes, the won tonic soup was very flavorful with sweet-and-sour elements with egg noodles that soaked up all this good flavor. The wontons inside were very standard. And the onion was added to provide some balance. Everything was very hardy and filling. My friend had gotten the vermicelli. Which came with crunchy egg rolls, shredded veggies, noodles, and shrimp topped with a fish sauce. It felt very light and refreshing with a balance of textures and savory elements'. Highly recommend as the number one and two selling dishes - it would just depend on if you're in a soup or dry noodle sort of mood. Service was overall fast and friendly. You have to pay by going to the counter. We had a newer waiter though, and it took him a long time to get our orders correctly and he had to get some help. Hopefully they're doing well, but overall, it's a very cute Homie little establishment. Seating fits around 30 around booths and tables.

There was nothing small about it though. Both dishes were delicious, but the pho is my favorite. It was flavorful and remained hot the entire time. The Bo ne was also great, but I will admit I was already full when I tried to work on my way through the plate. The staff was very friendly, and the food came out in a decent amount of time. The restaurant also seemed pretty empty on a Saturday early evening. I can't wait to go back and try more options at this restaurant!

The weather warmed up so it wasn't the day for pho. The service was good. Although it was good news to have yet another Vietnamese place, I felt the dishes ordered were mediocre. Although the pork was flavorful, it was thin, stringy, chewy and unlike the juicy chargrilled pork we were used to. The noodles tasted fine but lacked a crunch. It just didn't hit the spot. It tasted fine and if you haven't had this dish before, you may perhaps like it quite a lot. However, I really liked the generous quantity of shrimp in my grilled shrimp Vermicelli. I was able to share the shrimp as there were so many. It's high protein. The shrimp was nicely peeled, crunchy, sauteed and slightly better quality than many Vietnamese restaurants. I don't recommend the soft shrimp spring rolls; Although I liked the standalone shrimp without the typical boiled pork slices, the sauce wasn't the peanut sauce but hoisin sauce. The ambiance was good and relaxing. Restrooms were average. There was a wash sink outside so you could wash hands without using the restrooms. After reading the reviews, I was hoping to like this more.

Shrimp are almost always way overcooked but everything else is delicious. The meatloaf is especially good here. All in all, still my go to Pho spot in the area. I did want to mention that the prices are considerably higher than what they used to be but then again what hasn't risen in cost? I'm just glad the portion and flavor profiles are more or less the same so at least I know what I am getting. Now, the biggest thing that has changed is the service/packing of to go orders. Previously, these used to be a consistent set of young adults doing the service who were attentive and there to do a job well. The past several times I've gone, there is an ever changing group of young adults manning the cashier and wait station who have been slow, confused, and very often forget to pack things in my to go orders such as sauce, pho vegetables, and soups. I do check my order but there are quite a few components to check for and with kids, it's been a bit difficult to fully focus. Just something I expect the restaurant to be able to get right instead of depending on me to have to check each time. Disclaimer: I was in the restaurant business for a decade in my younger days so I understand the role and responsibilities very well. I almost always come on weekdays (which aren't as busy) so there's almost no excuse to not double check the orders or have a more experienced staff member check if you are new.
