Item P4. Round steak, brisket noodle soup

Nice new pho place with a clean atmosphere. My only regret is I didn't have enough room for the banh mi. We took half the large home for another meal, so great value. Pretty sure the only music I heard was Sam Smith. That would probably be my only complaint.

I'm debating between 3 or 4 but ended up doing 4 stars since the Pho itself is really good. The pho broth has the depth of flavor you expect, the noodle is cooked well, and it's served hot. What put it down was the spring rolls. The spring rolls fail short. The rice paper is stiff, and the fillings lack the herbs that you get from other places. The peanut sauce is also overly sweet. The bah mi is good as a sandwich in its own, but it's not bah mi. The picked veggies in it did not come through. All in all a solid place for pho. It's clearly mom and pops shop with the kid as the servers. Friendly vibe, and the facilities and dining areas are well kept and clean.

I had the pho to-go. This is the portion size for their small. I appreciated the freshness of the meat. Broth was flavorful and soup was delicious!

I don't usually leave reviews, but this place is just too good not to. I've tried a lot of pho spots, and Pho Now honestly tops them all. The broth is rich and flavorful, the noodles have that perfect texture, and everything tastes fresh and made with care. The owners are so friendly and make you feel welcome every time, which really adds to the experience. The restaurant itself is spotless, cozy, and beautifully kept even the restrooms are super clean. It honestly feels like a hidden gem, and I'm shocked it's not packed every day. If you love pho, this is the spot you need to try.

    Milk Tea & Avocado Tapioca

Tried this spot today. Food was 8.5 overall. Pho broth 10/10. Got the Avocado smoothie with boba. 7/10 barely had boba in it, also had avocado seed chunks in it. We did try the viet egg rolls- 8/10 nuoc mam (fish sauce) 4/10. Super clean bathroom. Service was 7.5. Asked for sweet tea and didn't like so I asked for Dr Pepper and server seemed annoyed.

Across the road from Target, this is one of several new businesses in the area in a new strip mall. I stopped in today for appetizers and a drink and a drink. The appetizers were okay. The egg rolls were large and freshly fried, the Rangoon were shaped differently from the traditional but were tasty and the pan fried dumplings were not pan fried but deep fried making them a like less unctuous. The drink was a smoothie with boba and that too was slightly off as the boba were too big for the straw and not as tight as usual leading me to believe they were older. This seemed more of a fast food version of Vietnamese but as I didn't order a meal that would be a premature description. But what made this a four was the service. One young lady did everything upfront and she was fast, accurate and amazingly observant. She was able to anticipate her customers needs.

The kids brought a game while we waited. Didn't get to finish, the food came out pretty fast.

In a place like Houston, where you can get authentic Vietnamese food, this can be a luck draw if the fusion pays off. However, when I tried the food, it was a very flavorful and worth every cent I spent. Everything was very tasty. The wings were flavorful and crisp. It had a combination of crispy skin seasoned with a rich sauce. The meat was also moist. For a party of two, it was also very shareable because they gave six pieces -both drums and wings. I will say that you really gotta to get in there get your hands and face dirty though! (They did provide a hand wipe!) For the main dishes, the won tonic soup was very flavorful with sweet-and-sour elements with egg noodles that soaked up all this good flavor. The wontons inside were very standard. And the onion was added to provide some balance. Everything was very hardy and filling. My friend had gotten the vermicelli. Which came with crunchy egg rolls, shredded veggies, noodles, and shrimp topped with a fish sauce. It felt very light and refreshing with a balance of textures and savory elements'. Highly recommend as the number one and two selling dishes - it would just depend on if you're in a soup or dry noodle sort of mood. Service was overall fast and friendly. You have to pay by going to the counter. We had a newer waiter though, and it took him a long time to get our orders correctly and he had to get some help. Hopefully they're doing well, but overall, it's a very cute Homie little establishment. Seating fits around 30 around booths and tables.

I ordered the Texas Twinkie, Brisket Mac and Strawberry Shortcake Eggrolls as well as the Chicken Potstickers. All of the Eggrolls were soggy and definitely not made to order. From the moment the duck arrives at your table, you know you're in for something special. Every bite is a perfect balance of crispy skin, succulent duck, fresh cucumbers, scallions, hoisin sauce, and warm pancakes. It's not just dinner... it's an experience. What I love most is the consistency. Every single visit, the quality is exceptional. The presentation is elegant, the flavors are authentic, and the attention to detail is second to none. The space is small but ample, there is a bar and plenty of seats. The food however was underwhelming. I don't know if that is how they like to make their pho or if they are so used to the type of clientele that come in that they have adjusted their food to match their expectations. The broth unfortunately bland, there was no star anise, cinnamon, nor clove flavor that came through on the broth. It tasted just like beef bone broth. There didnt seem to even be fish sauce in the broth either. The noodles were tender, the toppings were generous, but the lack of flavor in the broth was enough to change the taste of the whole dish. I asked for fish sauce since they dont have any on the table, but that doesnt help much since the broth is missing the essential spice flavors. It has a lot of cool Japanese style decorations / wall art, and they're usually showing Pokémon on tv! The inside is very pretty / appealing to me, and it had a nice chill vibe. I will take more pictures next time. The service has always been overall solid, but my fiancée and I's favorite waitress is named Jennifer I believe. She's very sweet and attentive. We made it a point to ask her name last time we went(and somehow I'm iffy if I got it right). We were being served by a waiter who honestly was kinda meh, and then Jennifer saw us and greeted us. She then went to tell him to get us water, and I then just asked her if she could tend to us instead. She's great and we will always ask for her anytime we go moving forward. Onto the main subject: the food! I've ordered multiple different items here, but I'll start with the appetizers. I've tried the Brussels sprouts tempura, which were just ok to both my wife and I. It seemed like it was plain unseasoned Brussels sprouts fried lol. We've also had the fried shrimp shumai which was solid to me, but the Mrs said it was too fishy. Ramen: I've had the tonkotsu black (pork) multiple times, the spicy shrimp ramen, the Kami Goyu (sliced NY Strip) and the spicy chicken ramen. I really like all of the broths and noodles, but I feel like the pork, chicken, steak and shrimp proteins could improve. The pork seems really fatty / chewy but not in the way I'm used to. My wife doesn't care for it either. The chicken is like a thinly sliced chicken breast and seemed like it was cooked separately then dumped into the broth last second. The Mrs says it reminds her of a plain Costco chicken. I still ate this more the the pork, and pork is my usual go to. The shrimp was ok to me, and I'm not really sure how I'd describe it but I ate it all. I don't think I'd order the Kami Goyu again as I did not care for the steak, but I did eat it since I don't like wasting food. I think the spicy chicken ramen may be my favorite overall. My absolute favorite thing here though, is the Akuma roll. All I can say is I love it, and I'll be ordering it everytime I go. It is a raw sushi roll. All in all, I know we'll be back!
