That's $14.94 per disgusting sandwich that was completely inedible. Seriously, it was absolutely revolting. The spring rolls? $8.76 for TWO rolls, when the website lists $6.50. Tiny, greasy, flavorless -- a total rip-off. The fried rice was a disaster -- so much black pepper it was basically poisoned. I've never seen anyone ruin fried rice this badly. And the Thai teas? Chemical-flavored nightmares. I've had bad Thai tea before, but this was something else entirely. Between the blatantly deceptive prices and the utterly awful food, this place is a scam disguised as a restaurant. Don't waste your money here. Ever. I will never return. read more

Haven't been back here in many years and decided to eat here for old times sake. The place had been renovated and the ambience was nice. However, the portion for the pho shrunk a lot from what I recalled. Ordered the Large Tofu Pho and what used to be a large white bowl was now a much smaller red bowl and way less vegetables. It was easily finished by 1 with no leftovers like before. Had to confirm with server if this was indeed the large size. Was craving a pad thai and ordered chicken breast pad thai as stated on menu. But what came was pad thai with chicken thighs. The server told us that they changed this a while back but was able to make a new plate with chicken breast. Much better. Portion was fine and it was freshly made. Got my pho and pad thai fix in but really miss the classic and hearty large white bowl of pho from before where leftovers were a sure thing. We normally go to mama's pho in Tomball, but they were already closed for the night, so we decided to give Saigon a try. Location is a little run down, but the inside was very clean and well kept. Our server was a guy with longish hair. He was friendly and quick. We ordered two kids pho with meatballs, 1 combination pho, 1 round eye and meatball pho, and fried wontons. The kids pho came with only 2 meatballs (in reality 1 meatball, cut in half.) My round eye and meatball pho was in fact not round eye and meatball. It had tendon, maybe 3 slices of round eye, fatty brisket, and 2 meatballs. The broth was lacking flavor. The noodles were overcooked. They were practically broken noodles. The fried wontons were gross- also overcooked and extremely greasy. They were hard and looked black like they were fried in old oil. I have second hand embarrassment that they served this to me as a customer. Service was good, restaurant was clean, but not worth the $60. Won't be coming back. read more

I went a while back in february with my family. The place was clean and the food was quite tasty until we realized that the bahn mi had barely any meat to even taste. Pretty good but I wished it had enough. When we tried the pho it had great broth not the best but still savory but yet again there wasn't enough meat. Sorry, didn't take any pics of the pho cause my aunt and I ate it to quickly . Very flavorful broth. I'm hooked. I have a favorite place in Katy Asia town but this will be my spot when I'm in Tomball. I order the Specialty/Combo Pho which has a little bit of everything in it. There's plenty of meat which was really nice. My aunt had the regular rare and brisket and she said that was great too. The service was great too as the lady who took my order was really nice. The only drawback was that I asked for extra bean sprouts and she only gave me a small handful. Ambiance 6/10: it was freezing in the place but I was getting my order to go so I didn't have to worry about eat in there. But everything else was fine. read more

Props to the business owner for being the real MVP after hurricane Beryl! After going days without any warm food from not having any electricity, It was nice coming here for some delicious Vietnamese food! Now, before I mention the service i'd like to share that due to cultural differences customer service isn't quite what a lot of us are used to but their quality of the food make up for it! :) The staff did greet us and provided good service, however once we received our food it made me forget about our unfortunate circumstance because it was delicious. The restaurant is always clean and neat, I like the feeling of a nice clean area. I split my pork Bahn Mi with my BF and he split his Beef Bahn mi with me, we also shared an order of Udon Noodles and some other dishes. Their prices are a little higher than most Vietnamese establishments and I may come here once in awhile but not on the regular. read more

This has been our favorite Vietnamese Restaurant since we moved 5 yrs ago. It has changed. The Vietnamese Fried Rolls were too doughy and over cooked. The sauce was changed, prices went up and quality has dropped. A Boba Tea was $7. Banh Mi $9. The one remaining person from old times, was still very nice. .50 for take outs. This place is such a gem to me i come here once in a while to eat some pho during my lunch break, the pho is so flavorful the dumplings are crisp to perfection and the sauce is fantastic, i get the Peach tea and it's so good and balances the spicyness i add to my soup i just went today and tried the Udon noodles and they were super good and gave the lychee tea a try with boba and i LOVE. the service is always great i go and i always have the same server she's super great at answering my questions since i am allergic to pork she makes sure i know what has it and what doesn't the place is always neat as well read more

First I'm going to say the shopping strip this restaurant is located in - is a little run down. I was shocked when I went inside. The decor was super cute and it was very clean inside. The lady who took my order was friendly. We ordered 2 grilled pork Banh mi sandwiches, 1 order of grilled pork spring rolls, and a grilled pork vermicelli dish with egg rolls. The banh mi sandwiches were $7.50 each. That's a bit high price for Banh mi sandwiches; even for todays pricing. And they also were the smallest ones I have ever ordered from anywhere. My husband said they were good but not great and for the price he would not order them again. My vermicelli dish was also good but not great. The portion size was also a little small and there was suppose to be 2 but I only got one. I really want to like this place. But with the portion sizes and the cost I will not make a special trip here. (This visit was around $45 for lunch) If I'm in the area I might try them again but eat there instead of taking it to go. read more

First time visit. I had the Bún bò Huế. Not many people get it as they do Pho. It's a rich and spicy soup with deep layers of flavor. It's served with a pork knuckle, beef chunks, and some kind of peppery sausage. The accoutrements slightly differ from what is served with Pho, with shredded red cabbage. The noodles are more like ramen round instead of the flat rice kind. The curveball to this dish versus pho is the shrimp paste and pork blood chunks that are part of the party. Unfortunately, my experience with their soup is it severely lacked the intense red chili color and flavor. It's almost like they took some pho broth and threw in a little chili paste and called it a day. There was no shrimp paste or pork blood served which is what makes it this dish. The restaurant was clean and certainly seemed like it's a popular place to get your Vietnamese food on. Seeing Viet people having dinner means they approve. I do, but not for Bún bò Huế. read more

We hadn't eaten at Saigon Pho in a while, so we decided it was time for some local Vietnamese food. Saigon Pho is located in a strip mall in Tomball, with a few other shops and restaurants. The parking lot is safe and well lit, and parking is usually plentiful; we're usually able to park close to the front door. Over the last year or so, there's definitely been some remodeling. The interior is fresh, clean, and has new lighting throughout. Very nicely done. Since our last visit, the other change has been the food. The reviews for this restaurant seem to be all-over-the-board, but I'm going to say our food was very good. We had spring rolls and edamame for an appetizer, then pho and vermicelli for our mains. I think this was one of the better meals we've ever had here. As for the service, it was fine. I don't really have much to say on the matter. They take your food order, bring you the meal, then you walk to the counter to pay. Our waiter was attentive enough. Overall, we had a very nice dinner. We'll definitely be back. I have been here 15 times over the past 2 years. This place always had acceptable food, not great but good enough to satisfy the craving. They recently renovated the interior, but the food has declined. I always ask for "spicy" but they never do it. The chicken pad Thai had minimal flavor and poor texture. The place is very clean and they provide very friendly service. The shrimp spring rolls contain cucumbers which adds a nice crunch. They were definitely made when ordered. I also had a small bowl of shrimp pho. The small was definitely well served and more than enough to fill me up. I'm new to this Pho lifestyle but this place never lets me down. My usual is a small white chicken breast Pho. The flavor of the broth alone is amazing. They give you bean sprouts, jalapeños, fresh basil, and limes to add to your Pho. A small to me is a like a large. It's huge and I can never finish it completely. My coworkers on the other hand leave nothing but an empty bowl. The spring rolls from here are good. They get the approval from my husband who is picky. Door Dash from these people at your own risk! We placed an order, the restaurant gave the driver the wrong order. The restaurant told us but made no effort to correct the issue. They said they would have the driver come back and get the right food but DD isn't allowed to do that. They finally agreed to deliver it themselves but when we called back 20 minutes later they told us they didn't know what we were talking about. Door Dash ended up giving us credit to pay for the order, but we never got the food we ordered. And the food isn't even that good. Can't recommend. read more
