It was mine and my wife's first…read moretime ever coming here and Xavier, even though they (I'm unsure of their pronouns and I am so sorry I did not ask while there, I was just completely blown away by the quality of service) were super busy and had a lot of guests already there, they took the time to explain the menu FROM MEMORY PERFECTLY and answered all of our many questions, most of them before we could even ask them, that's how PERFECTLY they explained the menu!! From there, to my utter disbelief and complete pleasure, the service ONLY GOT BETTER! I am making sure to capitalize certain parts for emphasis because words truly do not do justice for the quality of service provided by Xavier! They checked in on us the perfect amount of times and at the absolute perfect times, they refilled our drinks before we even had to ask, they checked to make sure we had everything we needed, they checked to see how we were enjoying everything and asked if there was anything they could do for us, they asked the whole room if the TV volume was too loud or too quiet or just right and adjusted accordingly (it was a tad too quiet, so their asking and adjusting took our whole experience to a completely higher level), and when we were finished they came and asked us if we needed anything "to go" containers which we did, they even gave us a bag and also threw in a set of utensils each for us, some napkins, and a couple of each of their sauce packets to ensure we could enjoy the same tastes that we did while we were there!! I mean, just absolutely 1000% stellar service from Xavier! Rather it was questionably soft and almost had a "slime"? sensation at the back of the mouth. The ribeye robata...regular and the honey miso glazed version was also lacking in flavor. I tried to hope that maybe the grill flavor would add some depth and salvage the already bland flavor of the cut.. it sadly did not. I got as finishing at least half the ramen (chashu, corn, seaweed and green onions as well as a couple of bites of the noodles). MAYBE I will come back some time later in the future should my patient roster bring me back this way.. but for now.. I would rate this place as more of a maybe than an actual foodie destination.

While it's not super authentic Korean nor super high quality, the value of what you get for the price tag is very high. Service is also very accommodating for the several rounds of food placed as well as switching out the grill pan for when the meat marinade burns. Also enjoy the free sauce bar that has appetizers for while we wait. Cons: Did not enjoy any of the seafood whether it be the quality of the fresh oysters or the marinade of the spicy items. Quality of the short ribs is not always consistent either (a few rounds were more fat than meat). Sesame oil is very low grade with very little flavor (can also tell by the very light color). Overall: Will definitely be back and will bring friends for what I think is the best bang for your buck KBBQ place in the Spring/Woodlands area. While some things could definitely be better, the pros definitely outweigh the cons and the place is more than good enough to keep coming back to.
