Its a small,intimate place that has nice dim lighting and is quieter, honestly perfect for dates or family or if you want a quiet meal by yourself. Service is always so friendly here, and the owner is very kind! Food is very reasonably priced especially with the portions you get and is genuinely so delicious. Came in, thinking that we were get some really good food, it was in fact not good. For an appetizer we got calamari, it tasted frozen and much more fishy than it was supposed to be. The fish was mushy and felt like it was dissolving in my mouth, the teriyaki tasted very chemically. They were not busy when I was there but the decor was nice they v screens to watch the game. Service was very nice and helpful. The baked avocado was amazing. It's got crab. It's got shrimp baked to a great temperature. It's not too hot the eel sauce so this thing was incredible. This will be the one thing I could come in in order. Two or three oven be happy with. The king crab roll most of the sushi rolls they had that I tried were okay. They weren't jumping out at me as spectacular. The king crab is a little spicy but it was tasty rice paper they used to roll it in was a little chewy which could indicate a little old. Others had a variety of different rolls (all very good). Ramen was enjoyed by another in our party, while yet another had the vegetable soba. Perfect size portions with good tastes all around. Excellent service! Very friendly staff in a simply-decorated, clean restaurant. Napkins almost look too pretty to use - nice touch to tuck a set of chopsticks and a fork in each folded napkin. Tasty and divine. Give this place a try, it may be in the corner of a strip center, but it's truly a little gem. It reminds me of a Japanese restaurant in London I used to go to. I love the printed thick napkins, the dimly lit private atmosphere, the little booths, it's a tiny little place but it's super fantastic food. The sushi is good, Bowevee sushi portions are a little bit small. The Ramen is excellent; Hot juicy abundant noodles bathed in a rich pork broth there were three types of Ramen we chose the pork broth it was truly delightful. I was worried it wouldn't be enough food for my man however it was more than enough food we even took some home with us. They had a cute little bar too we were able to get drinks, and try out some more sushi. Mary fussed over us, we loved our service - we will definitely return. Can't wait to go back! read more

Customer service was great. This place wasn't busy that should have told me something but the reviews were good so I gave it a try. I ordered vegetable tempura and the vegetables were cut big and crunchy they suppose to be soft in the inside but they were cut so big they couldn't fully cook. Would not recommend! I also ordered a roll I believe it was the rock n roll it was okay with being very SALTY. My daughter did not like the dumplings they were SOOO LITTLE as well. This place is a rip off. I never leave reviews but I'm gonna leave one on this place!! First and foremost, the sushi is dog crap! I have been sick since eating there last night. Secondly, my wife ordered the sky diver roll and the shrimp tempura was burnt. She could not eat hers. We kindly told the waiter it was not edible and because my two sushi rolls tasted so horrible she decided not to order anything for a replacement. I ate mine because we already felt bad about complaining. They were awful to say the least. When we received our check ( did not give the itemized receipt until we asked for it) they included the uneaten sky diver roll that my wife returned to the kitchen. We asked the waitress to please take the item off our tab and they refused to take it off. Instead omitting it from the check they gave us 10% off the item and said we can return and order something on the house. That is a HARD NO! We left very upset and still hungry! I have been coming here since opening. The food is great. Top notch for any place in Houston Texas. This is the day the service turned to crap. The waitress, an older Chinese lady, who doesn't understand English at all. When I ordered 2 orders of sushi (4 pieces) she couldn't get it into her thick head and still brought out only 2 PCs of the sushi.whne I confronted her and told her I wanted 4 PCs, she just couldn't get it, even after talking to the manager they couldn't get it straight. 3 stars is a little generous but it is Christmas time, after all. Sushi is just average but good for Tomball, I suppose. The sushi bar is oddly high and it very telling of a average sushi bar when the fish is already cut-up and sitting in the chiller. Took on of my friends here for her birthday because the girl wanted some sushi. I hopped over to Yelp and looked up the best sushi in our area since we are both new here. It sits on the end of a strip center facing Kohl's on the southwest side of 249. We walk in and it's super small, decorated very nicely. Greeted very warmly and sat. We split a bottle of sake and ordered the Tuna tartar as our appetizer. YUMMO! Then we each enjoyed a salad, I did the house with ginger. I must say they have one of the best ginger dressing I have ever had. My friend got the seaweed salad and enjoyed it as well. We've ordered from this restaurant numerous times and the quality was always quite good as was the order accuracy. That changed with our most recent order. The Chicken Katsu dish was missing despite appearing on the receipt. When we called to advise of the missing item, the response was "that's weird, I packed that order myself". This response clearly implies that a repeat customer who has never complained of the quality or accuracy of previous orders was acting in a dishonest manner. Because the order was placed via Uber, there of course was no recourse offered other than disputing the order with Uber. Directly or indirectly accusing established customers of acting in a dishonest way is an unforgivably condescending and amateurish response and we will avoid this establishment going forward. read more

Savannah was our server , she was so polite and attentive! Even though they were very busy, she made time to make sure we had everything we needed. The restaurant was clean and inviting.
