We got takeout! Our favorite Thai restaurant in the Woodlands! Crab fried rice, tom kha, Kanom jeeb and chicken wings - all delicious!! When we visit, the service is good and ambience is quiet. Love the Thai food here!

I visited this highly rated Thai spot near my house to see how they compare to others in the Houston area. Inside was pretty quiet for a weeknight....but they do close at 9pm. I had looked over the menu prior to my visit, so I had an idea what I wanted to order. The in person menu is similar. Their happy hour menu is mostly drinks and a few apps, where you can save a little bit. This is a daily happy hour from 2-6, so the plus is that its 7 days a week. They have a lunch menu where you can save a couple of dollars as well. I tried the Sunrise and Sunset cocktail, which is a cross between a Malibu punch and a Mai Tai. For dinner, I tried the whole tilapia with steamed rice since I've been craving the tamarind sauce served at some Thai restaurants. The tamarind sauce wasn't very strong and overpowering, but it was still good. The fish was medium sized and had plenty large bones which are easy to remove. It was a nice filling dish, but still had room for dessert. Be sure to look at all their menus as they have a few, plus some other items on plastic stands on some of the tables and center partitions, like the Thai coconut pancakes. I ended up going with the fried banana pieces and coconut ice cream for $8.50. The coconut ice cream is really good with lots of real coconut flakes, while the banana slices are nice and warm, fresh out of the fryer. Overall they are a pretty solid spot for thai...I'm just lucky that it's nearby.

Nice looking place. Server are very friendly and attentive. The food is good especially the roti with curry sauce. We also tried the squid pad ka praw and kao soi, they are all good. This is another good thai restaurant in the spring/ woodlands area.

Nice clean environment. The waiters were friendly and diligent with our 5 person group. We ordered a mix of family style dishes. I was not a fan of the papaya salad Laos style. It wasn't the fish sauce but the crab was hard to chew. We ordered pad see eew, green curry with chicken and pork belly and Chinese broccoli. The green curry was ok a little watery. I liked the pad see ew. It was pretty standard However, my favorite dish was the pork belly and broccoli which was the right crispness and the mbroccoli wasn't overdone. I tried a little of my friends Tom Yum soup and it was way too sour. A little pricey at $16-18 a dish. I've had better Thai in the city (Rin Tamon and Thai Halal) so not sure I would go back.

I ordered from Uber eats on a week night. The order was ready very fast and was on the way shortly after I placed the order. The Tom Yum soup arrived piping hot, which I really appreciate. The flavor of the soup was bold and very tasty. The Kanom Jeeb was okay. As for the Pad Ka Praw, I had much higher hopes for the flavor. I ordered chicken as the protein. There was very little flavor and I would not order this dish again.

There was a lot of parking outside and seating inside the restaurant. Service was quick with ordering and the food. The inside was nice for family or just having some casual lunch or dinner. Food items: Pad Thai - The pad Thai was good, though I would have added some spice to it to level out the sweetness! The chicken needed some flavor to it but the lime helped a bit and the flavor from the noodles. Pad Kee Mao - I actually like the flavor and spice in this over the pad Thai! The noodles were not dry and beef was flavorful. I would try this again but would add some spice to it.

This family-owned Thai restaurant offers an authentic culinary experience that truly captures the essence of traditional Thai flavors. Each dish is thoughtfully prepared, delivering a rich and vibrant taste that keeps you coming back for more. The staff are exceptionally polite and attentive, ensuring a warm and welcoming dining experience. The ambience, while not extravagant, is cozy and comfortable, making it a perfect spot for a relaxed meal. Whether you're a Thai cuisine enthusiast or trying it for the first time, this restaurant is a hidden gem worth visiting. Amongst all the food that we enjoyed, Pad Kee Mao and Tom Kha are my favorites.

Stopped here for lunch with friends! They have healthy portions of food and were super accommodating since one of my friends was running late since she went to the wrong location. While we waited for our other friend, I ordered a Thai ice tea. It was excellent! Creamy deliciousness!! Once our other friend arrived, I ordered pad Thai with chicken spicy level 2. It was perfectly done. Noodles were not soggy they were lovely and chicken was cooked well. They have a lunch special menu and that's what I ordered off of. They don't have pad see ew on there so that was a tad disappointing. The ambience is lovely and comfortable. Causal yet upscale all in one swoop. I loved the art on the wall and my friend and I took tons of pics of it together and with her son! I'd highly recommend! I'll be back again when I visit my friend next time!

Loved everything about Zapvor! They have a great selection of food and drinks to choose from. We ordered their Tod Mun Pla, Pad Se Eaw, Pad Ped Sauce, and Thai Iced Coffee, and everything was served quickly. Everything was fresh and delicious, and everything is seasoned just right! I will say though that their mild spice is pretty strong for me and my family, though we generally don't eat spicy food too often so that might explain it. Their coffee is also really good as it's not too sweet. The place is really cute and spacious! It may be dim for some inside, but I think it really adds to the ambience. Service is beyond amazing; the staff helped us out a lot with deciding what to get tonight and what to try for our next visit, which we really appreciate! I strongly recommend going to Zapvor if you feel like having great authentic Thai food.

My dad and I melt up with my aunt and cousin here on our way back to Dallas. We were seated immediately and ordered. It kind of felt like we were rushed to order even though they weren't that busy. I got the chicken pad kua gai lunch special, which came with hot and sour soup, Thai coleslaw, egg, and a crispy spring roll. Thai chicken isn't my favorite protein but I liked the noodles and their flavor. My dad got shrimp pad kee mao with level 3 spice. It was a bit spicy but I really liked the way they cooked the shrimp and the flavor of the noodles. I enjoy some crunch from the bell peppers and onions too. My cousin enjoyed her tofu pad se eaw. My aunt got the khao naem Tod with medium spice. It is supposed to have crispy rice but it wasn't crispy at all. It was pretty spicy and had a lot of acidity and zest from the like and onions. The lunch special is the same price as the dinner portions. If you get the lunch special your main entree will be a slightly smaller size. I personally would just get the dinner portion next time but if you want variety with your meal then get the lunch special.

We dine at ZapVor at least once a week, or once every two weeks. My favorite has become the Thai tea martini and the pad ped sauce. For dessert, we love the roti coco. I tried their other location in Houston, and I didn't get the same service or quality of food. The Woodlands location is always on point in terms of excellent customer service and consistency of food. One of my go to places on a night when I don't feel like cooking.

I always love to order either the Thai Fried Rice or Pad Thai, both with tofu. There's been some inconsistency on the seasoning recently; I'll admit I ordered their Thai Fried Rice three separate times within the span of two months, and I noticed the seasoning was definitely different week to week. Their curries are also good, but feel like they have more heat than what their spice level describes (eg their Mild tastes more like Medium spice). I need to branch out to their other items since their menu has a good variety, but I can't help falling back on old favorites especially when they're very good overall. Hopefully the seasoning inconsistency lately was just a temporary hiccup, but it won't deter me from returning for my usuals. - Ambiance: 4/5 - Food: 4/5 - Service: 4/5

I ended up just following the crowd and picking my own table. It looked like there was only one server. The place isn't big at all, so I'm not sure how things got overlooked, but anyway let's get to the food. I will say this everything came out fresh and really hot, but the dishes seriously lacked flavor. Keep in mind, I've spent two weeks in Thailand and tried every mainland dish that's referred, , so I know what a good curry tastes like and this, my friends, was not it. The curry was extremely watery and had almost no flavor. You don't even taste curry at all. The roti appetizer honestly needs to be taken off the menu. It's not even worth mentioning, but here we are. Tough, no flavor basically like construction paper dipped in dyed water. The wings were fried perfectly, I'll give them that, but there was no seasoning. They were lightly coated in sauce, and even then nothing made them memorable. My entree was the Chicken Curry Noodle, and this dish was just... weird. I know it's prepared a little differently in Phuket, but personally, I think the cabbage and fried noodles completely ruined it. Even if the cabbage was meant to complement the dish, it still felt unnecessary. The curry itself was basically watered-down paste. I don't understand how something can be known for curry when you can't even taste curry. Also, that bowl it's served in please get rid of it. It makes the dish harder to enjoy. A simple medium bowl would've been perfect. Eating watered-down curry out of what feels like a genie lamp isn't my (or anyone's) idea of good dining. Definitely last on my list. Happy Yelping
