Stopped in for an early dinner( they don't open until 5 PM for dinner), and we're immediately welcomed and seated. We were the first ones for the dinner crowd, but boy did the people start pouring in; I guess the word is out on this little gem! The place is small and cozy and just had a warm feeling all around very clean and cozy! We ordered an appetizer plate of some fried goodies, which were quite delicious and the Tom Yum soup was top-notch! We had a noodle dish with shrimp and beef , everything was great and fresh! I was excited to try this place since I'm a huge fan of Pad Thai. Unfortunately, this was the first time I had to leave with a full plate of food, effectively, untouched. I ordered the cheese rolls as an appetizer and, of course, Pad Thai. The cheese rolls were just okay, just lacking in flavor. My lunch special came with a salad, which was also just okay, the roll it came with was not great, kinda like something you would get from a grocery store. However, when it came to the Pad Thai, things went downhill fast. After the first bite, I noticed a major problem. The noodles were overly chewy and clumped together into what I can only describe as a blob. Worst of all, something about the sauce made me feel queasy after the second bite. At that point, couldn't eat any more. I ended up paying full price and cutting my losses. First time I have not finished (or realy started) my meal at a restaurant. Why 5 stars? Because I've finally found the ideal green curry. --- --- --- When I lived in Tampa, I used to visit a place that had the best green curry I've ever had. It unfortunately closed many years ago and I've never been able to find another place where the green curry lived up to good ol'e Thai Thani (RIP). I'm so happy to say that I think Thai Wok In is the first time I have finally put an end to the search. I am far from an expert on being able to describe why the other curries were not as good as this curry. I simply slurp and react. And I reacted quite happily to this one. The only minor knock I have is that when we ordered online, we selected "no spice". I debated choosing "mild" because I don't like spicy food but I didn't want to take away from the flavor either. Well, I can definitely say that no spice still has a decent kick to it and that's what I'll be ordering again in the future. I'm a wuss when it comes to heat and my wife takes it to the extreme, so we're pretty spice adverse. Other than that, we really enjoyed the fried rice that my wife ordered as a side. Her main entree, Pad Thai, was a bit on the bland side, but still enjoyable. We finished with sticky rice and mango and it was a nice way to end the meal. We will definitely be back again since this isn't too far from us and we really enjoyed our first visit, despite the food being to-go. read more

First things first, the positives.... staff was super friendly and the food was the best Thai I have ever had. It was awesome, we will definitely go back. I'm a pepper belly so when I say " the hot" ( not the Thai hot) was almost too hot for me to eat comfortably believe me. Finally had the opportunity to try Thai Wok In. It is a smaller but very cozy and clean restaurant. The prices are not too high and we tried several different dishes. They food was excellent and the portions were larger than expected. Ended up with a couple of take home boxes that were enjoyed the next day. We will be back! read more

For some reason this is only my second time here. My wife and I came on a date night a few years ago and I obviously forgot the review. Friday night my wife and boys met me there after work. They are extremely busy despite clearly taking steps to limit dining in. We got there just after 5p and no one was sitting yet so a table was easy to get. Just seat yourself. They had a steady crowd of people picking up to-go orders. It's a small operation. The kitchen is open to the dining area so you see the ladies hard at work. Only 3-4 people back there working hard! We ordered calamari and spring rolls for appetizers and both were delicious. The menu is simple and easy to order from. They will also make it Thai hot . I paid $3.50 extra for fried rice as my meal just came with white rice. The bathrooms were clean, the service was good, and the food is amazing! We will be back more as this is a must eat a lot more than every few years!! read more

We order from or eat at Thai wok in at least three times a month. They're very careful with my food allergies. We've eaten Thai food all over the country and this is some of the best. They go on vacation once a year back to Thailand and we miss them so much while they are gone. It's BYOB so you can bring in your own bottle of wine. read more
