    Curry - so delish

Food - Superb it felt like the chef created each dish with love. We were greeted with kindness with our waiter making great selections for my family of foodies. The small eatery made you feel like you were being serve in a kings palace

Cannot believe i haven't tried this spot sooner!!! We ordered the spicy lo mein and the pad see ew both were amazing! So flavorful and large portions. The inside of the restaurant is small but cozy. We ordered over the phone and our order was ready in about 10 minutes! Will definitely be returning.

Khao Soi and Beef noodle soup

Popped in cus I really wanted some soup today. Had the Khao Soi with crispy chicken and my mom had the beef noodle soup. We also ordered the roti for an appetizer. Everything was so fresh, flavorful, and absolutely DELICIOUS. Even the regular old sweet tea was some of the best I've ever had! The restaurant itself is very clean and inviting and the staff is so so nice. Will definitely be back!

Whole Garlic Fish with Red Snapper. It's cool how they already removed the fish from the bone. Kinda like sweet garlicky fish nuggets.

I love this place. My wife and I order take out from Baan Thai all the time. Hands down the best Thai restaurant in the area. We rarely get to eat in so this trip we had the whole fried red snapper. It was worth it with a sweet garlic sauce. But you can't go wrong here everything we have ordered was amazing. The service is friendly and will help you navigate the menu and they can also help with how spicy you want your food. Lastly the restaurant is cute and clean. I even included a picture of the restroom.

Creative, authentic, unique and beautifully plated. Baan Thai so far the BEST Thai food in the area. You won't be disappointed! Also, reasonably priced and the customers service is great.

I wanted to like this place, but unfortunately my dining partner ended up with what he felt like was hardcore food poisoning eating here. It must have been the eggplant dish, because a few hours, he was violently ill, and that was the only dish I didn't eat. I did enjoy the duck curry, though the meat was scant. Our waiter didn't ask if we wanted it spicy, but I requested some spices afterwards. Pass on the shrimp appetizer. It tasted like some pre frozen stuff. The coconut ice cream was fabulous.

New to the area and was craving Thai food. I ordered takeout and they were very quick making the food. Everything was fresh and smelled amazing. The place was pretty empty when I went but it was a weekday so that's to be expected. Inside a shopping plaza. The waiter was very nice. Definitely would come back to dine in.

Teenager waitress was extremely rude. She was only waitress at the time and there were 4 tables occupied.

We ate our hearts out and enjoyed every dish we ordered. We started with goat bone soup which took me back to my childhood when we used to eat at the dhabas on the highways during our family trips. It tasted exactly the same, peppery spicy and delicious! We also had veg kal dosa, cut mirchi and gongura mutton curry. Cut mirchi was so delicately made and it melted in my mouth. Dosas were great with the gongura mutton. The quantities were generous and prices were reasonable for the quality. Service was awesome! I am officially jealous of the people who could eat this food whenever they want to.

1/5 Stars - By far the worst Indian dining experience I've had in recent memory. I would give this…read morerating less than 1 star if that was an option. Here's the summary: Subpar Food - Entirely lacked authentic flavor; tandoori chicken arrived lukewarm (tasting microwaved), and "extra hot" korma had zero spice or taste. Inattentive Service - Required flagging down staff just to place an initial order. Hidden Charges - Unlabeled table water bottles were covertly billed without prior disclosure. Questionable Payment Practices - Staff demanded blind payment on a card reader, refusing to show an itemized bill beforehand until insistence forced them to cancel the screen. If you'd like to know more: The food lacked any authentic flavor or expected preparation. The tandoori chicken, usually served sizzling on a hot plate (my experience at other Indian restaurants), arrived lukewarm, tasting as though it had simply been microwaved. Both the korma and the dishes requested at an "extra hot" spice level were entirely devoid of flavor and heat. Service was equally disappointing, requiring us to flag down a waiter just to place an initial order. Compounding the poor experience, two bottles of water left on the table were billed at $1 each without any prior disclosure or mention from the staff. Most concerning was the payment process: the waiter presented a card scanner with a total, refusing to provide an itemized bill beforehand and stating we could only see it after paying. (Only after insisting did the waiter cancel the payment screen so I could review the charges). Between the subpar food, inattentive service, and questionable billing practices, this establishment feels shady and untrustworthy. I cannot recommend it and will not be returning.

One of Houston's most successful pho establishments has to be Pho Dien, as they've quietly been…read morekilling it Chinatown, Katy, and Humble. For the latter, it's gotten to a point where no other Vietnamese spot has come close in terms of pho. For pho seekers who happen to be in Humble, Pho Dien 1960 is an absolute must. The place is small, but they've stacked their small dining room into a very group friendly setup consisting of small booths and tables. The stale air quality is reminiscent of old school spots around town and the young Viet guys running the joint keep the place friendly and efficient. In terms of the pho, there are no complaints. The broth skews somewhat sweet, but it's aromatic enough for me to normally slurp it completely dry. Their best asset has been the meat, which is excellent. Their combination dac biet is an excellent variety that includes meatball, tripe, flank, and some of the best rare steak and tendon I've had. The latter is buttery and smooth enough to where I can't get enough. I tend to order it in their XL (xe lua) size, which is an off-menu item that goes for nearly $20 ($19.45) and is one of the largest bowls I've seen. I always look forward to getting it. While their banh mi and bun dishes are not nearly the same caliber, they still pass the test as a quality offering. The cha gio is a bit paltry, without any greens and a small bowl of semi-spicy nuoc mam (fish sauce). Their Vietnamese coffee is chocolate-y, and perfect for to-go. Their weekday lunch combo special is a good deal, in which one can come in for a small or medium sized pho and get an order of two cha gio or goi cuon with an iced tea. Parking is really easy on the weekends, especially since most of the businesses in the strip mall are closed. It may feel a tad more expensive ($12-18 per most entrees) but this is the price one pays in suburbia without having to head to any of the enclaves.

Left No Grain of Rice Behind (and Met a Track Star)…read more (10/10) My husband and I wandered into Imperial China on a quiet night - just us two lovebirds and the immaculately clean scent of... well, perfection. Seriously, the place smelled so fresh you could probably perform surgery in the dining room (don't worry, they stick to cooking, which is way more impressive). But the real MVP was Kendall She ran the register, served us, and basically orchestrated our entire evening with the grace of a future Olympic athlete... which, as it turns out, isn't far off! She mentioned she used to run track and is getting back into it. Let me tell you, that explains everything. The speed at which she refilled our water? Blink-and-you-miss-it. The efficiency of her service? Faster than the hurdles she used to jump over. We half-expected her to hand us our fortune cookies while doing hurdle drills over the chairs! Kendall, if you're reading this - you're amazing, and please save some gold medals for the rest of us mere mortals. Now, the FOOD. Oh. My. Wok. We're usually "leftover champions" at Chinese restaurants - it's practically our marital duty. But not this time. We ordered the Combination Fried Rice loaded with goodies) and the Hunan Chicken (spicy, savory, downright addictive). It was so unbelievably delicious, so flawlessly cooked, that we licked our plates clean. Seriously. Not a single grain of rice, not a stray pepper, not even a suspiciously saucy smudge escaped. Our dog is currently giving us the stink-eye because there were zero take-home boxes. Zero! Imperial China broke our leftover streak, and we're not even mad. And as if the universe was nodding along, our fortune cookie sealed the deal: Thursday will bring trust on your new journey." Considering our journey involved demolishing enough food for three people and meeting a future track legend, we'd say it's already pretty darn trustworthy! Overall 10 out of 10. Flawless cleanliness, food that made us abandon all dignity (and leftovers), service faster than Kendall's personal best, and a fortune that felt weirdly on-point. Imperial China, you've won our hearts, our stomachs, and our clean plate awards. We'll be back... probably on Thursday. Just in case.
