The combination pho is well seasoned and the broth is out of this world. This is probably the best pho in Montgomery and Harris County. It's all about the broth and they have it down pat. The fish was crispy and flavorless while the meat was still moist and tender. This place is a real diamond in the rough as it is new, but this will soon be the in place for people who want authentic Vietnamese and Asian cuisine. It wouldn't be pho without the fixings and they still forgot to put all the pho fixings on my take out order. The rare Wagyu was just sitting on top of my noodles. Usually other pho places would at least place it in a plastic baggie or separate to not cross contaminate. Instead of simply correcting the restaurant's mistake, the owner was extremely combative and made it seem like delivering the missing rice would be a major inconvenience. She even suggested that I drive to the restaurant and pick up the rice at a later date, despite me explaining that my wife has an egg allergy. What I would have appreciated was a simple apology and an effort to correct the mistake without debating me over an item I paid for and did not receive. She offered me a free egg roll if I came to pick up the rice at a later date, but when they ultimately agreed to deliver the rice, the egg roll was no longer included. It's not about a free egg roll, it's the principle. If you were willing to offer it for the inconvenience when I picked up the rice, why not include that same gesture when correcting your own delivery mistake? That would have at least shown some effort toward good customer service after an unnecessary and unpleasant interaction. And after making it seem like getting the rice delivered would take such a long time, it arrived in about 10 minutes. A simple mistake could have been resolved quickly and professionally. Instead, the owner's attitude and unwillingness to accommodate a customer over the restaurant's acknowledged mistake turned it into a much bigger issue. Terrible customer service, and they lost a customer because of it. I will not be returning or recommending this restaurant. Hin's Garden is closer to me anyway, and the food is better.
