This restaurant was really good! I love stumbling on good eats. There is a restaurant in Sugar Land with the same name. Not sure if they are linked. But this review is for SPRING/WOODLANDS location. Located in an unassuming strip mall next to a daycare. When I arrived a little after 5:30pm only one couple was dining. It did get busier by the time I checked out (a few Door Dash/Uber Eats order pick ups too). A1 appetizer Very good. Would order this again. It's a deep fried shrimp and pork "money bag". Fried in the cutest shape and you get three. A3 appetizer Also shrimp and pork dumpling. I didn't care for this. I have had better. The pork was meatball thick and not much flavor. The sauce it was served with was just OK. You get four. It had a crunchy topping. It was just odd all in all. Would not order this again. LYCHEE MARTINI Unbeknownst to me it was happy hour. Got a very smooth and STRONG but sweet drink. Sooo good. Would order this EVERYTIME. PAD KEE MAO (DRUNKEN NOODLES) Good sauce!! Great flavor and I ordered all the way top level spicy. It's spicy for sure but soooo good. Not inedible spicy but you'll definitely need a few sips of water in between a couple of bites. I ordered beef for my protein. They serve it with LOADS of tender beef. Not overcooked. You can definitely get two servings from their dinner portion. CUSTOMER SERVICE Great and attentive and polite. This is my favorite Thai place in the area. I haven't had anything that wasn't excellent. The service is always quick and attentive. Be aware, they don't mess around with spices here. I would suggest going 1 level of spice less than you think you want. read more

Wonderful, Amazing Thai in The Woodlands! It seems really solid Thai places are limited here, so we were excited to try Zapvor and we were very pleased! Very nice and smart decor. Super attentive staff! Great bar with excellent cocktail and wine selection. We had the Lychee Martini and Lemon Drop Martini. Both were spot on, so we had 2! Wings were great, the fish cake was not what we expected. A spongy rather than fried texture. Good & flavorful, just not what we thought. Green curry with beef was very, very good. Nice flavors and perfectly cooked beef & veggies. Pad Kee Mao was just as delicious. Word of warning - spice levels were more than we were accustomed to, so maybe a 2 next time! I'm extremely confused on all of the good reviews. I've tried several Thai places in the spring area and have been disappointed every time. Zapvor lacked flavor and serving size. I got a huge helping of bean sprouts but not a lot of actual Pad Thai. It was dry and had a very unique flavor. I ordered via Uber Eats and it came relatively quickly. I would not recommend and probably won't try again. read more

Great food and good service. It is a very noisy place on a Friday evening, but the food was so good, I'd be glad to go again.

We have been in so many times that David knows exactly what we like in wines, spices, flavors and more. They are so very friendly and service is wonderful. They clean up the tables right away so no dirty dished hanging around. After the customers leave they always are right on top of having that table cleansed immediately. The restaurant itself was so clean it could be used as an operating room. Pricing is excellent especially for the generous portions. You can tell they are using fresh ingredients & meats. I did however find it weird that they put eggplant and yams in many of their Thai curries which I haven't seen other Thai restaurants do. The wait staff were very friendly and patient with my party of two. Like most places in Houston, this restaurant was in a strip mall, but there were some structures in the restaurant so it didn't feel open or breezy. However, it was the food that earned Zapvor the five stars. I don't recall the last time I had Thai food this good. The drunken noodles (pad kee mao) were terrific, as was the tom yum soup. Careful though... the spiciness rating is for real! I typically get hot level five or "Thai spicy" at restaurants like this, and the food is still quite mild. Not here! First and last time trying thai food in the woodlands/spring area... Unfortunately the reviews did not live up to the hype at all. The lemon drop tasted like lemon lime gatorade and all of the food ordered was less than mediocre. I didn't take a picture but we also ordered chicken pad thai and it was also not good, i took two bites and left the rest. I would not recommend this place, i suggest driving the 40+ minutes to get better quality and taste. read more

A colleague introduced me to Zapvor, which t replaced a previous mediocre Thai restaurant, and I'm so glad she did. This part of town (Spring) is a bit of a Thai desert. Zapvor is wonderful. Loved the spicy Tom Kai gai soup, and we had an excellent basil beef dish, which I liked so much I ordered some to go. Had a noodle dish that was also outstanding. We had home made coconut ice cream and it was the bomb. Perfect finish to a great lunch and to cool the heat from the spice. Great prices and great food! My new favorite Thai place. Met the owner who was very friendly and welcoming. Can't wait to go back! read more

Sat at the bar for dinner Friday night and everything was amazing. Food was tasteful and spicy (be careful indicating what level of spice as they serve Thai spice!!), service was amazing, and drinks were great! Delicious Thai food. I live in Willis and drive here just for the upgrade over anything in the area.

Zapvor is great but be careful using grub hub. If you tap into delivery / takeout wanting delivery and a mistake happens and the order goes through as takeout ... you are totally screwed. Grub hub will not refund, will not setup delivery ... so you lose your money and your meal if you have no means of transportation. Grub hub was completely clueless careless and unhelpful. Be careful. First time eating here and by far it is one of the best Thai places. The food has amazing flavor and there is such a large selection to choose from with multiple dishes of fried rice, noodles, and entrees. They even have a whole tilapia entree. Service was great also and they were very patient even with us coming in 20 minutes prior to the kitchen closing. They did not even rush us. The atmosphere is nice and the restaurant is very clean also. Definitely give it a try. read more

In town for work, and I ordered lunch from here via UberEats to eat in the office, so this review is for takeouts only. I ordered the shrimp pad kee mao medium spicy, the pork skewer appetizer, and 1 Thai iced tea. The portions were okay, but I didn't enjoy the taste of the foods at all. Pad kee mao was extremely salty, the pork skewer tasted bland, meat was extremely tough and rubbery and it was so tough that I couldn't get it off of the sticks. The dipping sauce for the skewers was super salty as well. All I tasted in this meal was the saltiness and the spiciness, nothing else. Thai tea was ok, nothing special. Plus, there was no utensils or napkins provided, only a straw for the Thai tea. No more than 2 stars and won't order again. read more

My husband and I, along with our granddaughter, had dinner here for our first time and were very impressed with everything! The decor included fresh and crisp design using bright and cheerful colors which matched the people that worked there who provided excellent service with warmth and professionalism. The food was amazing! :) We got the Pad Thai, Pad Mamma, and Pad Drunken Sauce for our entree. My favorites were the spring rolls and the winter cheese rolls which were served hot and fresh, AND the coconut ice cream to top it all off. So refreshing and delicious! Everything was tasty but... I judge every Thai place by their pad thai & Tom Kha soup. Verdict still pending on the pad thai but the soup is lacking, its mostly coconut in this one.
