    Thai Tea

We had a great experience at Aim Thai. The thai tea was super yummy (I'm a huge thai tea girl). The basil chicken fried rice was great! The chicken panang curry was extraordinary! [[HIGHLIGHT]]There aren't a ton of tables, but definitely enough to seat a couple parties at a time. I believe there's 5-6 tables.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Regardless, it didn't effect our experience.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I would recommend checking them out!

The food is really tasty, and the service is really good. I received accommodations for my allergies and recommendations. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place feels clean and homey.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

For me and the family this was an average Thai restaurant. The servings were a little small for the price point. The flavors were good not great. The crab fried rice didn't contain much crab. The pad see ew could use more flavor. Although the papaya salad was delicious! The parking lot is small to accommodate about 10 cars. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is dated and has about 8 tables.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Note my rating system: 1 Star: I wouldn't recommend 2 Stars: Didn't hit my standards 3 Stars: Average (nothing special) 4 Stars: Above Average. Would recommend. Still looking for the 5 Star. 5 Stars: Top of their game. Great food. Great service. Would recommend and plan on returning.

Nobody does comfort food like miss Aim Thai. This place is one of my favorite Thai restaurants of all time. I like to see it as a hole in the wall honestly not fancy or anything on the inside which is totally okay. The food is so flavorful and well put together for example the potatoes in the curry have a cute wavy cut to them and is cooked to perfection. And the drinks are delicious and I cannot get enough. I sometimes order here for take out too. The portions are very good for what you get, and their mango sticky rice when in season is so delicious. No one does it like her, definitely give this place a try.

Let's try this place! Pretty calm but smells so good

Don't let the spot fool you!!! It's such a homey litre restaurant that deserves all the great reviews!!! We ordered Thai tea, green Thai tea, egg rolls, spring rolls, pad Thai, tiger plate with sticky rice and bbq pork with veggies. I love how she lets you create your own combo, what I mean if you want pad Thai? She asks you with what type of meats? The Thai tea is a little sweet but it's enough to just keep adding ice and have plenty of it to take home!!! The peanut sauce for the spring rolls was so good!! Has some spicy taste which is perfect!!! The tiger cry beef is so delicious!! Savory and on point, not over cooked!! Just perfect The egg rolls are so tasty and fresh!! Finding this place was great!! I love finding spots like these in Houston!! Definitely a keeper!! Pad Thai a little sweet but savory!! Lots of food!! Lots of leftovers and great customer service, very friendly and sweet lady!!

I been coming here for 10 years. I can't believe it. This deserves the rating given from 2024 top restaurants. Food is always exceptional, and the owner is so grateful and nice. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is clean and quiet.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Hope to see a growth soon.

Came in looking for a Tea on a hot summer day, I didn't know exactly what I wanted. They gave me samples and was so nice. Let me try everything they don't have tap and I didn't have my card so I ended up zelleing the owner. They're so nice and so sweet great customer service please go visit them!

The taste 5 stars. Service 5 stars. Ambiance is ok because it's a take out restaurant. Overall the price is good compared to the size and the taste of the dishes. We are from Boston so haha everything is cheap lol. The desserts are really good as well..... There's another story... there was a stray cat wandering outside of the store so we told the staff and the staff began to bring food to her! And decided to bring her home! I am so touched. I would have done the same thing if I am a local here. I am glad everything worked out.

It's been about five or six years since I reviewed this restaurant. It's definitely time for an update. I'm updating them to five stars because the food is really good and priced well. Where in Houston can you find an amazing courier for 639 to 899. Also the pad Thai with beef and chicken is really good. The eggrolls are really good as well. All in all I'm pretty much a really good client to these guys now. I am a fan. I will note that the food taste better there compared to when you get in and get to go. If you get any sort of noodle dish to go, by the time you get home the noodles stick together. So with that being said if you're getting pad Thai or any other noodle dish I will suggest you eat it there. Eating the food there versus eating it to go is a totally different experience. Customer service: the people that work here are very friendly and very nice. They go out of their way to make sure you get everything you need at your table. However I do think they only have one pan because my son and I ate there his food came out first then mine came out about seven minutes later. Same thing happened with a couple that was sitting next to us. That is hilarious. They only have one pan or one cook. Not sure other than that I will still go back and try them out and try more things.

    Fried Banana with Ice Cream
    Jim L.

The food here is delicious. My knowledge in regards to Thai cuisine is very limited so take this review with a grain of salt. But nevertheless I did enjoy my meal. For this visit I ordered the Tom Sab, Panang curry and a fried banana with ice cream. Tom Sab is a decent portion size for the average person. It is an intestines with beef tripe soup. It came with a lime and chili on the side. Panang curry is pretty small but comes with extras of your choice of meat, except shrimp. They say there are no extra shrimp so I guess that means a moderate amount. But I chose beef for mine. This curry caught me off guard because it tasted sweet. Still delicious but sweet curry doesn't mesh well with my palate. Once again, I lack knowledge in Thai cuisine so I am unsure if that is how it's supposed to taste. Lastly comes the fried bananas. I do enjoy deep fried bananas and having ice cream with it... what a marvelous combination. I do not believe I need to say much else besides that. Now besides the food, the major downside to the restaurant is the building itself. It is very warm and quite small. So something to think about if you plan to eat during the busy times or eat a hot soup on a 98° day. If you're around that area, give the place a try.

We had to order take out on a Friday night because it was 10 mins before closing (9pm on Fridays) and they processed the order incredibly fast. All tables were full when we picked up so I'm sure busy nights will be a bit of a wait to get in. We asked for "medium" spice but the receipt had been defaulted to "mild" thank god. It was still a decent amount of spice and any more I would have probably been sweating like crazy. So I would recommend starting off with mild and go from there unless you are a glutton for punishing spice. Their mild seems to be more like medium / hot at an Americanized Thai joint. Pad Kee Mow with chopped chicken was delicious. Fresh crunchy green beans and bell peppers, onions and tomatoes perfectly cooked with the perfect spicy basil sauce. Noodles all had sauce on them. The service was fast and excellent, and I appreciated how attuned they were to my dietary restrictions. My only concern was the parking, which was difficult. However, a worker informed us that they have opened up a second lot for the weekend traffic, which is useful information. We ordered the drunken noodles vegan with tofu and red curry vegan. Both were hot, which is one level down from spicy. I personally did not find the food spicy and would consider leveling up next time. The noodles were perfectly soft, there was a good amount of tofu that was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The flavor was fantastic, and I liked how the dish was not too greasy, which is a problem I have run into at other establishments. The red curry was probably my favorite of the two dishes. It was warm, comforting, and tangy with the perfect blend of flavors. I was tempted to lick the bowl! We attempted to order roti ice cream for dessert, however there was miscommunication that led to just receiving vanilla ice cream. It was soft and creamy, but nothing special.

It could easily reach that level. Our waitress, Ann, was incredibly kind, soft spoken, and welcoming. My friend Sherita suggested this restaurant after we left a Yelp office hour, and I'm so glad she did because it introduced me to something I never knew I needed: the salmon mango fried rice. It was absolutely amazing. I originally planned to take some home for my son to try, but it was so delicious that I finished every bite in one sitting. Sherita had visited earlier in the week and tonight shared that she arrived; right before I walked in which was 30 minutes before closing time, Jackie told her to hurry up and order, even though she already knew exactly what she wanted and didn't even need a menu. Jackie response was unprofessional and didn't even wait till the table guest got to the table, which was less than seconds since we all arrive at the same time, and left the same place. During our visit, Jackie never brought us water. A couple who was seated after us received water before we did. It took over 10 minutes for us to get water. Ann took great care of us, but anytime we wanted a refill, we had to ask. At one point my glass was completely empty. I noticed Jackie refilling the water glasses for a table of six, so I managed to get his attention. He looked directly at me, scanned the room, then stomped away all fast without acknowledging my request. Instead, he told Ann that we wanted water, and she graciously brought it over. Even at the end of our meal, Jackie stood behind the register while my friends waited to pay, yet another employee ended up taking their payment. His overall energy felt very cold and unwelcoming. My friend even joked that it was probably for the best that he didn't refill my water because of the energy he was carrying. As someone who believes water absorbs energy, I honestly agreed. I'm grateful Ann was the one who served us with such kindness. The restaurant itself has such a peaceful, zen atmosphere. The greenery outside and the warm lighting inside create a cozy neighborhood spot that I truly want to love and revisit with my son. Thank you , Sherita for introducing me and Aaliyah to this hidden gem. I completely understand why you visited twice in one week.
