Incredibly fresh ingredients, beautifully harmonious flavors in every dish we tried. Excellent service! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Very relaxing, spacious ambiance.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Will come back again!

This is in my top two Thai places in the area. Might actually be my top one! The food is very fresh and authentic, which I love because this place has really made Thai my comfort food. Service is great during the day time, not sure about evening time. This place can probably be a disco at night, they have a huge stage area which really peaks my interest.

I've been in Houston now, for almost a Month and am trying different/exotic places to eat at. Houston is known for their diverse cuisine. If you're looking for some authentic Thai Food in the area, and if you're like me. I have my staple appetizers/food that I try at different places/restaurants. You should give this place a try. They have a wide selection of appetizers and you will not get disappointed. If you're like me, I love FRIED FOOD and APPETIZERS. Simple and easy to eat and no surprises. So, you would think, lol... So, here are some of the food that I tried here and what I think (in my own opinion) on how they tasted like. The Thai sausages are a little bit crispy on the outside but juicy in the inside. Thai Beef Jerky, I was a little skeptical because they can be a little tough, chewy and dry. But, this one is tender and juicy as well. Thai Crispy wings are a little bit breaded. Crispy and juicy at the same time. By the way. I always pair my sausage and beef jerky with sticky rice. So, don't forget to order sticky rice on the side. The last one is called Nam Khao Tod. It's a combination of crushed rice w/cilantro, lime juice, peanuts, crispy pork skin seasoned with spices. (This can be really spicy. Make sure you let them know how spicy or mild you want it to be) I learned the hard way, I guess as you get older, your heat tolerance goes down. Over all, the food here is great. Not to mention, the waiters are very nice, friendly and patient. Will definitely come back again the next time I'm in town.

My sister took me here for my birthday lunch, what a wonderful experience! From the minute we walked in through the door we were greeted by a friendly face. This food was wonderful on the palate, the service was equally as wonderful. We both had the Thai Iced Tea, very refreshing, I had the Hawaiian fried rice with shrimp, medium spicy I will be coming back, one of my new favorites!

Authentic Khmer food. Salar machu kreung is on point. Salad is on point. Beef and bahok sauce is good also. Im impressed first time here. Remind me of back home in california.

Came here during lunchtime and I should've seen the red flag. I was the only customer at the restaurant. Thar says a lot. I gave them the benefit of a doubt and try it anyway. I ordered off the lunch menu and got tofu pad Thai. When the food came out instantly I knew it didn't look fresh. The pad Thai looks like it was already made and reheated. Base on the texture the noodles were very soft almost mushy. I ate it anyway since I was there. The guy never brought out my soup thats suppose to come with all lunch order. When it was time to get the bill the guy ask if everything is ok and when I asked how come I didn't get the soup he said that's for lunch menu and if I wanted the soup. I said yes, I ordered off the lunch menu so yes I want it to go since I was done. After I got my bill I notice he did a customize amount and charged me extra for the soup. All in all this place isn't that great and I won't be returning.

Seating area and some kind of event room.

Stopped by this place on the way back from the airport. We arrived around 6pm and we were the only ones there. I ordered shrimp and chicken fresh spring rolls, Pad Wood Sen and Tom Kha soup. The first two were tasty but the Tom Kha was completely off in flavor. It had a very dominant tomato taste. The coconut, ginger, and lemongrass flavors were practically non-existent which is not usual for this dish. It almost tasted like Chicken Tortilla Soup which was odd. I just did not enjoy it. Besides that, the waiter was nice and the food was out promptly but I just was not impressed enough to make a trip back.

I finally got to eat here after passing it so many times! I brought my sister on her birthday and we enjoyed the lunch specials! I ordered chicken pad Thai and she ordered the Pineapple fried rice...regular enough but super tasty! We also ordered Thai iced tea which was so good and caffeinated! I'm definitely going to come back to try more stuff. I just had to get my thai fix!

We had to order take out on a Friday night because it was 10 mins before closing (9pm on Fridays) and they processed the order incredibly fast. All tables were full when we picked up so I'm sure busy nights will be a bit of a wait to get in. We asked for "medium" spice but the receipt had been defaulted to "mild" thank god. It was still a decent amount of spice and any more I would have probably been sweating like crazy. So I would recommend starting off with mild and go from there unless you are a glutton for punishing spice. Their mild seems to be more like medium / hot at an Americanized Thai joint. Pad Kee Mow with chopped chicken was delicious. Fresh crunchy green beans and bell peppers, onions and tomatoes perfectly cooked with the perfect spicy basil sauce. Noodles all had sauce on them. Large serving size and great price. We also got papaya salad which was just right and nice spice. I wish I could come here often and try everything else on the menu.

There's a sign-in sheet. While we waited, we took a look at their two-aisle mini store, which is in the same room as the restaurant. We bought some interesting snacks and looked at the menus until we were messaged. Once we sat down, we shared fried tofu and chive cakes. They were amazing. The fried tofu was evenly crispy with a soft, piping-hot fluffy inside. (The sauce doesn't contain any fish sauce, since one of us was vegetarian.) The chive cakes were both crispy and mochi-like. I had the Thai iced tea and pompano fish. The staff scared us about the spice level, so we all started off with mild and a small variety of chili sauce, oil, and powder on the side. The ones who changed their minds to mild actually used them. So now we know that if you like medium spicy, go with the second-lowest level. I was fine with mild and ate my whole fish. Loved it. Our waitress was quick, but the kitchen... not so much. We all ended up eating at different times because we didn't want anyone's dishes to get too cold while waiting for the rest to come to the table. By the time my dish came, the first two main dishes were already finished (rice and noodle-based), and the third dish (curry) had already been at the table for a while. I also noticed another table that sat after us got all of their dishes (noodles and rice) before my dish came. The food timing needs some work. If you want a quick meal, I think their rice and noodles are the fastest. But the pompano fish was amazing. If you know how to debone a fish or eat one with bones, get this dish. There's free parking out front and in the grassy lot next to it.

We visited for lunch on a Tuesday and had no wait to be seated. The service was friendly and attentive throughout our meal. The spring rolls and dumplings were both very good and made a great start to the meal. The Pad Thai had nice flavor and was enjoyable. My husband ordered his dish at a spice level 4 (their highest spice level), but felt it wasn't quite as spicy as expected, so keep that in mind if you like a lot of heat. The portions were very generous, and we definitely had leftovers. The kids' chicken fried rice was a huge portion and was surprisingly good. We also enjoyed the mango sticky rice for dessert--it was a great way to end the meal. The only disappointment was the Thai tea, which tasted a little weak compared to what we've had at other Thai restaurants. Overall, the food was tasty, the service was good, and the portions were excellent. We'd be happy to return and try more items from the menu.

For drinks, I got the Mekhong Mojito and it was sweet and refreshing! For appetizers, we got the crispy squid and the crispy wonton- crispy squid was good but if you had to choose between the two, get the crispy wonton! As for the entree, I ordered the Khao Soi with shrimp and my friend ordered the spicy red snapper. The curry broth with coconut milk was fragrant and with the toppings that came on the side (i.e. lime, onions/shallots, mustard greens, etc) enhanced the dish. The flat egg noodles were bouncy and the shrimp was solid. If you're stuck between choosing a curry dish and a noodle dish, get the best of both worlds and order the Khao Soi! They have that street food vibe as a well representation of their name, Rim Tanon, which means roadside. With dedicated parking that fills up quick during peak times, it may be difficult to locate parking as it is shared with a few other restaurants and the spaces are quite tight. We tried their appetizers including Salmon Rolls (flavorfully packed with cream cheese, salmon, and spinach in a crispy shell and loving that actually spicy mayo on the side), Thai Style Jerky (deep fried and sun dried marinated pork and beef served with sticky rice rolls and side spicy tamarind sauce, a bit too dry/chewy), Fried Tofu (perfect little triangles, so good by itself or with the side sweet and sour sauce with crushed peanuts), Chive Pancake (deep fried and chive packed triangles with a slight chew to it, great by itself or with it's spicy soy sauce companion). As for the mains, the Spicy Seafood Fried Rice is a good value as it was loaded with all sort of fruits of the sea (shrimp, squid, and mussel), with prominent lemongrass and kaffir lime aroma, but a bit wet or moist for a fried rice dish, the Crabmeat Omelet is served with a nice portion of lump crabmeat where you can taste the flavor of the seafood and add sriracha to liking, and the Beef Pad See Ew is made appetizing with wok charred flat rice noodles along with a savory blend of soy sauce, Chinese broccoli and egg. The portion size is alright and filling for a moderately hungry individual, though it would've been even better a tad bigger for those coming in hangry. I'll be back for more when I'm craving some modern Thai food and especially want to try their curry dishes. Service was quick and efficient, attentive to refills on drinks and friendly!

It could easily reach that level. Our waitress, Ann, was incredibly kind, soft spoken, and welcoming. My friend Sherita suggested this restaurant after we left a Yelp office hour, and I'm so glad she did because it introduced me to something I never knew I needed: the salmon mango fried rice. It was absolutely amazing. I originally planned to take some home for my son to try, but it was so delicious that I finished every bite in one sitting. Sherita had visited earlier in the week and tonight shared that she arrived; right before I walked in which was 30 minutes before closing time, Jackie told her to hurry up and order, even though she already knew exactly what she wanted and didn't even need a menu. Jackie response was unprofessional and didn't even wait till the table guest got to the table, which was less than seconds since we all arrive at the same time, and left the same place. During our visit, Jackie never brought us water. A couple who was seated after us received water before we did. It took over 10 minutes for us to get water. Ann took great care of us, but anytime we wanted a refill, we had to ask. At one point my glass was completely empty. I noticed Jackie refilling the water glasses for a table of six, so I managed to get his attention. He looked directly at me, scanned the room, then stomped away all fast without acknowledging my request. Instead, he told Ann that we wanted water, and she graciously brought it over. Even at the end of our meal, Jackie stood behind the register while my friends waited to pay, yet another employee ended up taking their payment. His overall energy felt very cold and unwelcoming. My friend even joked that it was probably for the best that he didn't refill my water because of the energy he was carrying. As someone who believes water absorbs energy, I honestly agreed. I'm grateful Ann was the one who served us with such kindness. The restaurant itself has such a peaceful, zen atmosphere. The greenery outside and the warm lighting inside create a cozy neighborhood spot that I truly want to love and revisit with my son. Thank you , Sherita for introducing me and Aaliyah to this hidden gem. I completely understand why you visited twice in one week. I'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu, and hopefully next time the hospitality matches the quality of the food.
