Great experience with so many flavors. This was a wonderful foodie experience. The interior is unpretentious and comfortable. The service was a bit slow but the food made up for that. We tried the variety appetizer which was a great way to start the meal and also got a Pannang curry which was superb
I thought this place was pretty good. The money bags appetizer was very flavorful, but it was a bit pricey. In my opinion. I also got the glass noodle dish for Houston restaurant week, which was pretty good as well, but not my favorite to be honest. I think there was an herb in the dish that I did not care for, so there seem to be a bit of an aftertaste for me. I also thought the prices here were pretty high compared to some other Thai places I have been to I really did love the service and atmosphere though! My favorite dish was the mango sticky rice dessert!
We really enjoyed our experience here! We came for Houston Restaurant Week. I got the papaya salad, which I wasn't a big fan of personally, but I think others would enjoy it. It was my first time trying Drunken Noodles, and I was not disappointed! The flavors were on point, though, in terms of spice, I wish it was spicier. I asked for the spiciest they had and it was more mild than anything. The mango sticky rice can with a scoop of coconut ice cream, which was perfect with the sticky rice. And the mango was perfectly ripe, sweet and tart, perfect. I think the coconut ice cream is needed with the rice, without the ice cream, the rice isn't very sweet and doesn't have much of a taste really. I LOVED the decor, the silverware (goldware really lol), and the dishes, absolutely beautiful. Outside of the HRW, their prices are up there, but I'd come back to treat myself for sure!

Not long after...our waiter came by...introduced himself...and made us feel right at home...we started off with a couple of drinks that were well-made and refreshing...along with a few appetizers that definitely set the stage for what was coming next. For the main course...I ordered the Thai omelet with crab meat...and let me tell you...that dish was a showstopper...packed with flavor...perfectly cooked...and just downright delicious. From start to finish...the entire experience was top-notch...great service...great atmosphere...and even better food...Kin Dee is definitely a spot I'll be coming back to.
Went to Kin Dee for lunch in the heights! Thankfully there's a huge parking lot so you don't have to worry about street parking. I got the pad Thai with chicken and also had a taste of the shrimp tom yum soup. The pad Thai is wrapped in an egg blanket, which is apparently the authentic way. I prefer it where the egg is more cooked and spread throughout the dish though. I felt like the tamarind flavor was a bit lacking here compared to other places, but don't let the size fool you. It's actually pretty heavy since it's compressed to fit inside the egg. The tom yum soup was solid if you love sour flavors
I really love the Kin Dee Thai aesthetic. The space is modern, clean, and just really well designed. The marble tables are a nice touch, and they also have outdoor seating, which would be perfect on a nice day. The atmosphere made it easy to chat and actually enjoy the experience without feeling overwhelmed, which I appreciated. For drinks, I had the lychee martini, and it was really great. It came with a nice garnish (including apple), and the flavor was on point. For food, I had the Kindi fried rice, which I really enjoyed. My friend also ordered a chicken fried rice, and that looked good as well. They do have soy sauce nut you have to ask for it. I do wish I could get fried rice (instead of regular) with one of meat entrees instead of having to get both or choose between but the waiter said that was not allowed. I also tried the mango sticky rice, and unfortunately, that was not my favorite. I did not finish it, and it is not something I would order again. Something about it just did not quite sit for me. Overall, I really liked the space and the vibe. I would definitely go back and try more items on the menu.
Stopped by here for takeout the other day to pick up dinner. Ordering was easy and the food was ready in 15 min or so. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating if eating there though! Everything was so good! Loved the pad thai, among the best I've had. Also loved the Khao soi, the curry was so flavorful! Cashew chicken was good though I might consider something different next time. Highly recommended for Thai food , worth a drive.

Had a nice crunchy peanut filling! Second we also had the Chicken Satay which were pretty simple, grilled chicken with a peanut sauce, but good! For my main I chose the Premium Tiger Cry which was a marinated steak that was cooked well, but it came with this unbelievable sauce that like shocked me at how good it was omg. It was called North Eastern Special Sauce which I'm not sure what that means but wow thats divine like I don't think Ive ever tried a flavor like this sauce before. Rice and veggies were good and loved the little container the rice came in. For dessert I had a Thai Tea Creme Brûlée which yes, it is as good as it sounds. Also had a cocktail called this Asia-tini which was a lychee-pear-sake martini, very yum!

I got the Northern Style Curry (Khao Soi), which came with a whole chicken quarter. Slightly disappointed with the minimal pickled mustard greens that I LOVE having with my Khao Soi. My girlfriend got the Shrimp Tom Yum, which I thought was a bit watery and didn't have enough sourness to it. Slight smell to the tap water/glass, but that might be Houston ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Server was friendly, and parking was easy. Bonus, they're on InKind, so you can save some money with the offers and Costco giftcards.

How could I turn down a free $50? So, I decided to give the restaurant another chance, and I'm glad I did! Parking was easy, although we went earlier in the evening. I know that particular lot to get pretty full pretty quickly. We also made a reservation, so there was no wait at the restaurant. The ambiance was great - more upscale than what I am typically used to for Thai food, and their place settings were beautiful. I did have to ask for a clean glass because mine was dirty, but the wait staff ameliorated that quickly. We ordered several dishes including the drunken noodles, Pad Thai, and Panang curry. Each dish was delicious and beautifully presented! My favorite was the drunken noodles - pad kee mao with a combination of proteins, veggies, and Thai basil. So yummy! The portion sizes were generous and ordering family style was a great way to try several dishes. The price tag is a little hefty for Thai food. Even with my $50 off, I still paid a good amount for the meal. Kin Dee is a great place to visit for good Thai food, but not if you are on a budget!

My husband always orders the northern style curry with bone-in chicken, and it is truly one of the best dishes we have tried in Houston. I usually get the panang curry with tofu and it's always delicious and well-seasoned. The purple flower dumplings are iconic and a must-try. We got a few different cocktails the most recent time we went, and they were all well-balanced, but not very strong. Service is always attentive and helpful as well.
This place is absolutely adorable! The atmosphere is really cute, and the food completely lives up to the vibe. Absolutely love this spot. Always consistent flavor, beautiful presentation, great customer service and portions are perfect! Their pad thai has a wonderful tamarind flavor savory and comes in a wrapped egg crepe, you cut open and the pad thai noodles are inside, a unique and delicious dish! Kind of sad I can't give it a full 5 stars because when I came here back in 2021, I was blown away by the food, service, and atmosphere. I came in for a solo dinner, and my order was taken within a few minutes. The food came out fast, which I appreciated. I got the Tiger Cry and the stir-fried Thai basil chicken with a fried egg. The Thai basil chicken was stellar, and made for great leftovers the next day. The Tiger Cry was just okay for me; not very flavorful, and with so many other standouts on the menu, I probably wouldn't reorder it. I'd still give the food 5 stars. The service, though, just wasn't what I remembered. No one checked on me during my meal, and after I finished eating, I had to flag someone down for both a to-go box and the check. It all just felt a little indifferent, which was disappointing after such a great first impression in 2021. read more

Cute cozy Thai restaurant located in the heights. They have plenty of parking in the back! The food here was amazing! The Thai tea tastes like it was freshly brewed! Our server Kay was very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. Without even asking she brought us chili oil, red pepper flakes, and peanuts in case we wanted more spice! The khảo sôi curry was probably the best curry I've ever had. It comes with noodles!! The pad Thai was also delicious and came out in an egg omelette, very cool! The pad Thai was refreshing and flavorful as well. We ordered medium spice for all dishes and it was pretty spicy which is good because I love spice! I would definitely come back here again. read more

Came back with a friend for an early dinner. I got their Thai Tea & Pad See Ew (Medium spicy). The medium was perfect for me. The food came out really hot & fresh. This plate was big enough to share. But I ate half and took the rest home and ate that for lunch the next day. The service was still amazing. They were very attentive and patient with us. It wasn't crowded when we arrived at 3 so we really enjoyed our time there. The food and drinks were good. I would always recommend people to check this place out! read more

Kin Dee serves the best aesthetic dishes!! I love how it's an elevated thai experience with such fun appetizers and plating. The food was great and pretty authentic. I was slightly disappointed there was zero spice in any of the dishes and the portions were pretty small despite the prices. The restaurant itself is pretty small and might need a reservation if more than 2+ people during busy hours. We had a 5 person party but was able to get seated Sunday dinner on a high table. The high tables were not bad and we were thankful we got seated right away with no reservations. read more
Huge, spicy portions! The food was delicious. Definitely spicy, so be warned. I would go back again and focus on the appetizers which I think were the star of the night. The food was really fun including the appetizer sampler! Most of the food was great but a few of the things were mid (maybe I am picky when it comes to Thai food as a Thai woman!). It's a fun atmosphere with a lot of different people there for dates, families, and happy hour co-workers. Overall I would definitely come back and get my favorites again. read more

Such a beautiful place. The menu is authentic and flavorful. Staff is attentive and helpful. Kin Dee is a moderately small but neat place to check out. The decor gives a unique taste on Thai culture. However, I cannot say the same for the food. The stir fry was overly seasoned and salty. Whereas the portion was lackluster given pricing. We had no issues with the staff. They were friendly and prompt. The two other restaurants within this business chain Makiin & Thai Tails do a much better job at representing Thai flavors. read more

Stylish Service and atmosphere: This is stylish and well designed restaurant. It offers comfortable seating arrangements, good live music and clean facilities. Staff were polite but could be more attentive. Food: Menu was well designed and offered good selection of traditional dishes. I ordered Khao Soi. It was well presented but lacked the traditional flavours I was looking for. The spice was definitely missing. The dessert on the other hand was outstanding. I came here for dinner on a weekend night for the first time. We made a reservation but it wasn't too crowded, so might not be necessary since they have a sizeable space. I am vegetarian and have celiac (strict gluten-free), and they had several options available. They also cook a vegan batch of curries and a regular batch of their curries. We ordered the Thai flower dumplings for appetizers, which was the price of an entire, but also a very unique and delicious dish I haven't had before with a savory and slightly sweet filling, chewy dumpling texture and 5/5 for aesthetics. I had the panang curry with steamed tofu, which was savory and delicious, though a few vegetables might have been a nice addition. Thai tea was pretty decent, and definitely on the sweeter side. My partner had the Khao soil and said it was excellent! They have an interesting vibe, with the wall art and a live DJ. They had nice plates, which were even available for sale. I had an overall good experience, and I would consider coming back to try a few more items! read more
My friends and i came here for thai and were not disappointed! We started with hot tea (not pictured) which was a combination of green teas. Was very good blend but the cup to drink from was very small, about the size of a shot glass. We then got the flower dumplings which were sooo yummy. Basically pad thai in dumpling form. I got the pineapple fried rice which was interesting but very good. Had raisins in it which is not what i was expecting! And also came in this large pineapple bowl lol. Overall everyone from service staff was very nice but around 8:30 they started taking away all our silverware (the bus workers) when one of my friends was still eating. They close at 10. read more
My friend was visiting from out of town and she wanted to eat Thai food. I told her we should come here because the first time I came the experience was amazing. This time we had an amazing experience as well, our server Brittany was outstanding very helpful with the menu, and her service was excellent. Food and drinks never disappoint here, we started with the flower dumplings because this is the signature appetizer and they were delicious and so beautiful to look at, I got the drunken noodles and she got fried rice. We both were extremely happy with our choices and she also got a drink, and she was very happy with it because not only the service is fast they make it right every time. They have a patio there was a lot of people on the patio because we had very nice weather last night, but they also have indoor seating in a bar, I also saw that they have ladies Wednesday, from 5 PM until closing time or cocktails are half off.
