Really enjoyed this coffee shop. Service was excellent, ambience was very quiet inside but nice and cozy. There is indoor and outdoor sitting. They sell coffee as well s alcoholic drinks. They also have a dispensary on the other side. Would definitely recommend. I do have to say parking is very limited.

Yummy drink, good vibes. Staff is nice, you do have to buy something in order to sit and use the WiFi which I think is fair!

Very cute spot. I like the decor and variety in seating options. Parking lot is small but serviceable. I tried the Turkish Delight latte. I would've never thought to combine rose and pistachio, but they execute it very well. The presentation is stunning. I could taste both flavors very well, and they complement the coffee base nicely. A solid drink overall!

It was my first time at this location. I truly enjoyed the fact that it was more of a cocktail and coffee bar. The staff was so knowledgeable and helpful they were able to explain so many things to me about their offerings. I had their flower power drink with a shot of CBD and it was absolutely delightful! I was able to sleep like a baby when I got home the CBD had done its wonders and relaxing me and calming my nerves. I can't wait to go back during the daytime so I can try one of their espresso drinks. The fact that they decorated with live plants made it feel more like home. Parking though is a little hard to come by unless you come early. Otherwise you can park down the street but just careful not to park and block any driveways.

Nice lounge coffee shop, lots of space to work on business or personal on wifi or put in earphones and zone out while you sip on something. The staff is okay, not overly friendly but just take your order and move on. Not rude just no personable. Maybe if your a regular they are. Drinks: drip coffee - decent, extra $0.50 for flavor Mango sticky rice - not sweet, no Mango flavor, taste a bit oily, not sure how to describe it Cinnamon brown sugar Chai latte - delicious, you get your fall, your, sugar. It's a winner! Breakfast taco- hot, bacon, egg & cheese. Hit the spot not to big, just enough with coffee to kill the hunger vibe.

Black sesame matcha latte & Matcha Latte

This is a cool concept cafe located in the Heights with half of the space being a bar/dispensary and the other half being a coffee shop. The ambiance is nice, I came during the day time so it was good for catching up with a friend or even studying. The space itself is large and had a good amount of seats available for guests. The only thing that could be a little bit tricky would be parking. There is a lot available but it's not super big and can definitely fill up during peak hours. I ordered their black sesame matcha latte while my friend had the regular matcha latte. I liked the black sesame matcha latte slightly better but they were both solid choices. I wouldn't necessarily come back for the drinks, but more so for the ambiance.

I came here just to sit at the bar and have a few cocktails on Saturday afternoon. It was relatively empty inside but since this was my first visit, I appreciated getting to take in the atmosphere and connect with the staff a bit more. One of the bartenders was super helpful in navigating the menu, and because I only drink Vodka-based drinks, so he helped make suggestions: Hanoi Hi Five and Wild Star Martini. The drinks are reasonably priced, and I sat at the bar. The decor is so cute; very neon jungle themed (but in a cute not overpowering way) and the place is really large, so there's plenty of space for co-working because they do also sell coffees and teas. The drinks were great, though I did prefer the Martini a little more. I will definitely be returning in the future! 10/10 experience and kudos to the guy who was helping me.

Wow another great spot to get matcha, beautiful interior that can be for any occasion! Lots of unique items and I'm glad I was able to get a seasonal matcha drink which was better than expected! I highly recommend and would come back!

Date Night or Late Night? If you're heading north on Shepherd, you might just miss this hidden gem w/ all of the surrounding construction. Across from Happy Go Lucky, Wild Coffee Shop in Houston provides comfort and an earthy aesthetic with their bohemian touches like rattan furniture, greenery and wooden accents. It's luxury with a laid-back vibe. There are indoor and outdoor seating options that cater to your mood. The soft music and ambient low lights create the perfect atmosphere for relaxation or focused work, and this is by far one of the coolest coffee spots I've been to. You can even incorporate CBD/THC with your beverage--they always ask first. Worth frequenting for sure.

ambiance is so cool with the jungle like theme. some of the lamps look like the bulbs say love in it which is fun. the service is great and friendly. i love their seasonal extras for the lattes. their muffins and croissants are also very tasty.

Great place to study, wfh, chill, or even go for a first date ! It's not too loud, not too quiet, it's just right. The space is yours, go wild with it! I opted for the black sesame matcha latte. Something different, but I liked it, it kind of reminded me of fruity pebbles. Love the atmosphere and I will sure to be back.

2nd time at Wild... I didn't even go to the dispensary side. I stayed at the dining area where they have the coffee shop. It's a nice little place to study or read a book or chat it up with a stranger. I met a young lady who hosted a bible study, moved all the way from LA to follow her dream. Cool ambiance, chill people. Good coffee drinks are yummy but expensive. Food is decent too although it's not a huge selection, try the empanadas! Parking is TIGHT, but if you get a spot you won't regret venturing on something new here.

    Tres leches latte
    Gabrielle C.

We came in around 5pm on a Monday and were able to find a seat quick and service was quick as well. Lots of unique flavors to try- I opted for the Tres Leches seasonal flavor latte and it did not disappoint! It looked and tasted great! The ambiance was great for studying as well- very chill vibes and ambient lighting. The drinks were brought to our table and everyone we talked to was super nice. I see that there's reviews about the extra gratuity and I can attest this isn't the case anymore- when ordering the end screen let's you know there's an automatic gratuity and there's an option to add more. Overall really cool place for studying and I will be back! We walked here from our apartment nearby so I can't speak for parking, but Wild had reserved parking spots in the lot. I prefer this location to the Montrose one for studying- there's more seating here.

Food was decent, definitely a fun spot for a casual night out prior to checking out all the bars on the same street Not So Good: - $20 for parking is a bit of a turnoff. Most restaurants, especially on busy streets, still offer complimentary parking or validation. This felt a little out of place. - Automatic 20% gratuity for a table of two was unexpected, especially given that service wasn't particularly great. I usually tip 20% anyway, but it's worth mentioning, especially for those who might not catch it and end up double tipping (like I have in the past). I live nearby, so I'll definitely give them another shot soon after they've had some time to settle in and will try some of their cocktails. Hopefully, the next visit earns that 5th star instead of losing more.

I would like to preface, this isn't a cheap quick dinner restaurant but I highly recommend coming at least once. We found it on the Michelin guide. I love the inside of the restaurant, the layout is fun and intimate. *grilled oysters were good. The flavor from the n'duja with the bits of pecan was something I would never think to pair. Great start! * elk tartare was surprisingly amazing. I always find tartare to be a tough dish to make outstanding and with elk I was hesitant to try but happy we tried it. The plate was cleaned by the time we finished. The cracker was light and paired well with it. * maitake mushrooms were so good that we had to split it evenly so no one got an unfair amount lol The sauce is like a coffee/caramel/chocolately savory sauce. Mt description doesn't do it justice. It's umami but has a caramelized feel. Just get it! * pork chop was the best pork chop we've had. We typically order steak over pork chops at restaurants but heard great things. Tender and flavorful. I will say it's a very rich dish so be mindful of that but highly recommended * grits, this was the dark horse. It was our favorite tapa. We laugh bc we didn't think grits would be the fav, out of all the amazing dishes. But the beef cheek underneath the silky grits... YUM! I'll be craving them *basque cheesecake was good but not the best we've had. But it's also hard to compete with all the other dishes we had

We love elevated tapas style restaurants so we had to see what it was all about! Unfortunately, the food just didn't wow me at all. It was fine, but fine doesn't cut it for this price. Food: - Duck Liver: 6/10 I LOVE pate so this one was extra disappointing. They pureed it so much that it lost all texture and was like a butter. If that was the only thing off, it would be fine. But the other flavors in there just didn't work for me. The sweetness and oiliness that they added were too overpowering that I could hardly taste the liver itself. The bread was great though. - Elk Tartare: 10/10 I'm not the biggest fan of tartare but this was the best tartare I've ever had and the best dish of the night! The sunflower cracker was amazing; it gave a nice toasty nutty flavor that contrasted with the yuzu underneath. I love all the different textures going on in this dish, which is why I like it better than other tartares which tend to be only chewy/slimy/wet. - Maitake: 8/10 Cooked really nicely. Perfectly crisp and flaky. Just a little too sour for me. - Okra: 7/10 The Gouda sauce was interesting but the okra itself was nothing special. It was nicely roasted and charred. - Pork chop: 6/10 As the main dish of the night, this was quite disappointing. No interesting flavors whatsoever. You can't really taste the chamomile dusting unless you lick it directly. The jowl that they spread on top didn't taste like anything distinct. In fact, I didn't like the texture of it because it was crunchy in a way that felt like I was crunching through little bits of tiny bone... - Basque cheesecake: 9/10 The dessert rounded out the evening nicely. Solid cheesecake. No complaints. Service: Honestly too "attentive" to the point that it was annoying and disruptive. They would interrupt us every 10 minutes it felt like. And the food came out pretty slowly.

I was really excited to eat here, but ultimately my experience did not live up to the restaurant's reputation. The first two courses on the tasting menu were fantastic (highly recommend the gulf shrimp aguachile and fried head cheese), but every other dish afterwards either lacked textural variety or well rounded flavor. The tamale course was overly soft to the point of mushiness, the carrots course was overwhelmingly spicy for our whole table, and we all agreed that most of the other courses were too salty. Service was friendly, but the courses were rolled out with VERY inconsistent timings (ranging anywhere between 5 minutes to over 25 minutes of waiting in between finishing one course and receiving the next). Order-to-Appetizer: 15 Minutes Order-to-Entrees: 30 MInutes For three people, we ordered: Dairymaid's Cheese Board (4/5): Comes with four cheeses, five small pieces of sourdough, honey-spritzed grapes, green Granny Smith apples, and fava beans. I wish they gave us more bread with the cheeses and preserves. The four cheeses provided were slices of a five-year aged Cheddar, Oveja Anejo, Tomarashi, and Gruyere. I enjoyed the Tomarashi the most. It is a bit pricey for what you get, but very sharable and a great starter. Shady Acres Pizza with prosciutto (3.5/5): I really don't like getting thin crust pizza that isn't crispy, and unfortunately this was a soggy thin crust pizza. The toppings themselves were very flavorful, and the end parts were crispy enough. 5 Cheese Calzone with chicken (3.5/5): Whew, five cheeses makes for a salty calzone. The side marinara sauce provides a good balance. It's very filling. Chicken might have been a good addition because prosciutto might have made it too salty. It was larger than expected which was nice for sharability. Service was kind of iffy. They were pretty rude with not providing us utensils and seeming almost angry that we asked for some for the cheese board. They mixed up our order (we asked for chicken on the pizza and prosciutto on the calzone and they flipped it) and seemed almost apologetically serving us afterwards. Overall, would recommend as a relaxed date spot at a reasonable price. I paid via inKind and applied referral credit with no issues. Would come back with inKind credit, probably not at full price.
