Also ordered their seasonal muffin which was a pumpkin muffin with a cream cheese core. I wish the seasonal muffin had more cream cheese filling for the core. It was just a small scoop of cream cheese visible from the top. Pretty empty shop for a Saturday morning/noon. The interior is quite aesthetic though and I enjoyed the vibe. They have a patio in the front to enjoy the cooler weather. Limited parking in front which I'm not a fan of. Overall not something I would go out of my way for

It's located inside a historic building that is the West End Church. I love the brick and industrial design they kept. There were many people coming and going on a Saturday afternoon. There were lots of people on their laptops studying or working and groups of friends chatting. I like the variety of coffee, tea and seasonal menu they had along with other drinks and food/snacks. Some were great for vegans. I ordered sweater weather from their fall menu which has espresso, house made salted maple syrup, cinnamon and milk. I ordered the small 12 oz. size and asked for oat milk. I thought the coffee was nice and hot. The salted maple syrup could've been more prominent. I saw that they offered my favorite croissants from Love Croissants, so I got the last mini almond croissant from their pastry display. Delicious. I can't wait till their drive thru brick and mortar opens nearby soon! Since it was hot outside, we sat inside on the first floor. There weren't many spaces available for two around 12:30-1 pm on a Saturday afternoon. Overall, cool place. I would come back here again for coffee, tea and croissants!

For context, BHBG opens at 8AM, and 3 times in the past week I've arrived at or earlier than 9AM and they're already sold out of chocolate croissants!! And when I AM lucky enough to get one, they only make 2-3 a day!! A hugeeeee bummer if a large reason why you come is because of those. So please. For the love. Parking can be ridiculous sometimes (their parking lot is a bit confusing in my opinion), but there is lots of seating both inside and outside. Staff is nice and they have a good selection of coffee, matcha, other drinks, and pastries/snacks. I met up here with friends around 10pm and there were still plenty of customers in the cafe. The iced fruity pebbles latte was yummy and really did taste like cereal milk. In my opinion, the coffee taste is good/not bitter but it isn't that strong and probably won't give you the caffeine you want. Also, although the paper straws are cute, they got soft really quickly and you end up with a soggy straw. This is a nice coffee shop for ambiance, but there are definitely other cafes in Houston with better coffee.

Duo Houston I took me a while to get to the right page, I…read morewas looking for Duo Houston, but Yelp called it Duo- Autry Park , based on the area. I had no idea it is actually a chain....with literally only two branches as of 2026 in Houston, one being Autry Park and the other in River Oaks. I didn't know when I stopped by, but I read online that it is Pilates, fitness, and Specialty Coffee place, all under the same roof. Made a quick stop for coffee as I was in the area for an event. It's pretty posh. Parking is bit of a problem though. There is both indoor and outdoor seating available. Outside, it is pet friendly too. Just got a quick cold coffee, and had to hurry out. But though it was pretty early on a Sunday, there was a huge crowd and it kept flowing in. So it is a popular spot in the neighborhood. There are lots of pastries and some savories to choose from.

The static fit yoga class at Duo Houston with Lesbianland was such a good time. It was outside, the weather cooperated, and the energy was just right. A whole crowd of beautiful women, good music, and a space that felt safe, calm, and fun all at the same time. Morgan Brown led the class and really set the tone. It felt grounding but still had a little spice to it, not boring at all. After class, they had matcha and acai bowls and gave us 15% off, which I love because who doesn't want a little reward after pretending you can plank longer than you actually can. Speaking of... they had a planking contest and somebody held it for over five minutes. I tapped out mentally just watching. Only thing to note, if you want coffee you'll need to walk over to a nearby shop in Autry Park, but it's super close so no complaints there. Overall, great vibes, great people, and definitely a space I'd come back to.

I'm a frequent traveler, and have already hit some incredible food spots here in Houston. This is now at the top of my breakfast and coffee/tea stops. Drink: I had a divine dirty chai latte with pistachio nut milk (a new milk for me) which really added a fresh twist on a classic morning beverage favorite. La Vita's owner, a very sweet and passionate man who clearly loves what he's doing here, shared that they fly in their chai in powder form from Italy. No nasty syrups or pre-mixed chai here and I can absolutely tell the difference! Food: I had THE BEST everything bagel with bacon, egg, and cheese since my last trip to Manhattan. I won't spill the beans on how they achieve this, but they have legit true NYC bagels here. DO NOT PASS ON THIS sandwich! You'll be very sorry you did. The ambiance is chill, with loads of seating, and the service is top-notch. I highly recommend you get over here as soon as possible! Thanks to Alex and team for a wonderful impromptu delight!

There is a hightop chess / checkers table, and Saturday morning even included a few people involved in dance lessons. Had an iced chai latte - exactly as the barista suggested - and it was delicious. They have a large coffee menu for the coffee lovers. Multiple flavors of NY style bagels are available, with a wide selection of spreads. They arrive daily from NY partially cooked - finished on site - and available until 12pm. Ordered up the Southern Burger - leaving off the serrano peppers - SO DELICIOUS! The fried green tomato was a perfect topper. I cut it in 1/4ths - still too much! Made the burger a meal - with onion rings. The perfect size ring! They also offer steak fries or brussel sprouts as a side - the sprouts are flash fried and topped in a choice of flavors. Several seating options inside + a partially covered patio.

The location is absolutely splendid to get a lot of business. While the parking is limited (I had to park in the lot of the neighboring building), I suppose one could park in that plaza with Local Foods and walk across the street, as the parking is free after scanning for the first two hours. The vibes are also immaculate. Once you walk in, it's very spacious, very welcoming, with plenty of seating. The staff is very friendly and welcoming too! HOWEVER... when I say staff, it was only ONE PERSON for a weekend morning, a prime time for early-morning workouts and people getting their weekends started. I was there with a fellow Yelp Elite-er, and first off, it took around 20-25 minutes just to order because she was stuck by herself trying to balance taking orders and actually making the orders. My friend and I were literally standing at the front for a good 10-15 minutes waiting. After that time it took to order, it was about another 30 minutes before we actually got our coffees. Do the math, and that's about an hour wait. We ended up taking our coffees to go. The coffee was fine - didn't blow me away to be like, oh hey that was worth an hour's wait. The one staffer was totally nice and I just felt so badly for her. Poor staffing decision on the part of Cafe Forth, for sure. Everything else is so nice, but the staffing part set things up for disappointment to where, it doesn't matter how nice and friendly and how great the vibes are - waiting an hour for a cup of coffee will lead to a disappointed customer.

Beautiful coffee shop located in the Heights. Parking was tight as expected for that part of town,…read morebut I got lucky and was able to nab the last available spot in the parking lot adjacent to the building on a Saturday morning around 9:15 am. Barista/cashier was nice and I had no issue with her at all. Seating was open and decently spacious. The flat white I ordered was $5 + tax and tip which isn't too pricey, the volume was on the small side, and the taste was OK - nothing great but certainly not bad either. So why the 2 star review? The place was severely understaffed for a Saturday morning. They only had one staff member who was doing all the work like taking orders and making the drinks, so it took 20 minutes in line to order, and the drink took another 30 minutes. I went there to meet with a friend, and we were done meeting by the time we got our drinks. I ended up asking for it in a to-go cup and the presentation was underwhelming at that point, to say the least. Can you imagine waiting almost an hour for a coffee? No thank you. It was worth a shot and I guess I went on a bad day. Unfortunately it was my first and last time trying this place as the whole experience was underwhelming. I would have tried it again if the coffee flavor was great.
