I got an iced blueberry lavender latte with oatmilk, delish. Loved seeing their display of syrups, their machine is beautiful and loved the touch of using bottomless portafilters made my barista heart so happy If I could recommend anything to this shop it would be to start using names or numbers to call out orders from the counter. As a customer when you have to watch and listen for your specific order it can make the waiting period a little less enjoyable :/ and then you run into what I did, your coffee gets called, someone got the same thing, and now it's unfortunately up to the barista to tell them (& have to remember) whose it is ‍ Will 100% be returning. Loved the space. Loved the drink. Excited to try the pastries and experience it in a calmer environment!!

It is so nice to work in/meet with friends. To me it feels super balanced, casual and professional at the same time. Not super loud. The customers are mix purpose, you don't feel bad if someone next to you is working/studying. It's part of Bayou Heights Bier Garden, their little coffee shop on the left part of the venue. If there's no seating inside (kinda limited) you're welcome to work on the BHBG patio space which is ample. I more recently come with girlfriends to needlepoint, and catch up. Nothing about their coffee I feel the need to rave about but it's not disgusting and I enjoy it. I used to get the blueberry lavender a lot but I think I burnt myself out on it. Staff are always super nice. Again pastries are amazing, and I want to say they're all made in house. Yummy

Lively joint close to Memorial Park. We went on a Monday at 10am, still a good amount of folks in…read morethe place. Counter service and grab seat. I opted for Pastrami Hash with scrambled eggs. It was quite tasty. A bit salty and with some textural elements to it. A big portion, too much for me to eat. N*joy!

So my husband and I were meeting up with someone from Facebook Market place to make a purchase and…read morethe person gave us this address to meet. Anyway, after meeting them, I decided not to purchase the item...but because we were parked in front of the Chase bank and right next to the Black Walnut, we decided to try it out, since we were both hungry... We walked into the place and were greeted. The person advised that we can sit anywhere that was available and decided to sit near the front area next to their large windows. There's an out door patio area as well, which was also crowded for a Saturday mid morning/early afternoon time frame. So there's 2 ways to order...you can either use the QR Cod that's in the tables or walk up and order with someone at the podium near the kitchen area. They do advertise that they are cashless so just make sure you're aware!! The order went pretty quick and the cashier was very polite and friendly, with this being our first time here. She was able to answer a few of my questions about the menu. And to my surprise they also offer a MILITARY DISCOUNT of 10% - which many other places do not, like KATZ near Bunker Hill. Some made our order and she gave us our drinks (a coffee mug for my coffee order and 2 glasses for water. Since hubby ordered OJ, they brought that over from the bar. The food came out shortly after. I ordered the Avocado toast and Hubs ordered the Texas Breakfast. I totally forgot to take photos and devoured the food once it arrived to our table. Hubs thought that the Texas Breakfast was great and cleared his plate just as quickly as I did. We'd come here again, definitely better quality of food compared to your Dennys or Katz...but the only problem was how you order the food, weather it's ordering through the QR Code or standing in a line to order your food. There were so many servers clearing off empty plates that it almost seemed like a restaurant where someone takes your order...I guess it works for them because the entire time we were there, it was busy. All in all I would definitely come here again to try out their other breakfast and lunch options...not to mention the options of bar drinks and wines!!

The static fit yoga class at Duo Houston with Lesbianland was such a good time. It was outside, the weather cooperated, and the energy was just right. A whole crowd of beautiful women, good music, and a space that felt safe, calm, and fun all at the same time. Morgan Brown led the class and really set the tone. It felt grounding but still had a little spice to it, not boring at all. After class, they had matcha and acai bowls and gave us 15% off, which I love because who doesn't want a little reward after pretending you can plank longer than you actually can. Speaking of... they had a planking contest and somebody held it for over five minutes. I tapped out mentally just watching. Only thing to note, if you want coffee you'll need to walk over to a nearby shop in Autry Park, but it's super close so no complaints there. Overall, great vibes, great people, and definitely a space I'd come back to.

I should have taken a picture of the menu. What I wanted was out so I tried another seasonal drink that I believe has mocha. Not a big mocha coffee drinker but the guy at the cashier sold it to me. It was okay but not bad. I am curious with the persimmon cold foam. I love eating persimmon and I've never seen this on a menu before. I order the lox toast and it was big but I finished it. It must have been the breastfeeding hunger because I thought for sure I wouldn't finish it. This was delicious! Sitting is not as big as the heights location. There is bench sitting with small tables. Other is other small seating as well. Then towards the back is the pilates action.
