    Iced Strawberry Matcha

Such a cute coffee shop with plenty of parking and a beautiful patio to relax on. The coffee and matcha were delicious, and you can really taste the high quality in every sip. The ambience is warm and inviting, making it a great spot to hang out or work. Definitely a must try!

First time at this coffee shop and I really loved the vibes. It was pretty crowded but lots of seating, tables and couches. Outdoor patio as well. They have a large menu and their seasonal drinks are great. I got the Salty Cowgirl - a salted brown butter latte (middle in photo) and it was both beautiful and sooooo delicious. Have to go back and try the mango matcha. I did knock it one star because it is pretty pricey - a chocolate crossaint was $8.50 before tax. A bit loud as well. I would come back though!

Pavón is one of the best cafes to study since they close late, they have yummy drinks and food, the ambiance is immaculate, and they have bathrooms and outlets available. It's also a great for hanging out with friends or meeting up with someone professionally over coffee. Wifi lasts for 4 hours and for up to 2 devices. They have seasonal lattes year round on top of their usual drinks. I've never not liked any of the drinks or food I've gotten. A little bit on the pricey side. They're always super nice and welcoming and they'll bring your order to you. Whether a weekday or weekend, this place stays pretty busy. There's tons of seating however so I've always been able to sit. Parking is a bit hard. In order to get to the designated parking spaces in the lot, you need to go through the valet area in front of the restaurant next door. There is also street parking.

Saw they had an ube latte, so I had to check this place out and I'm glad I did! The flavor was spot on, not overly sweet, just the perfect balance. I always appreciate when staff really know their drinks, and the cashier was super helpful. It was pretty busy on a Saturday morning, so we grabbed our coffees to go, but the space still felt welcoming and like a nice spot to sit and hang out. My sister tried the red velvet latte, it was good, but definitely on the sweeter side. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this spot and would come back if I'm in the area again!

Such a cozy vibe and unique drinks! My husband and I stopped in here while visiting Houston and absolutely loved our experience! The barista was very nice & patient as we deliberated on what to order - and the drink she made, the iced cloud matcha, was amazing! My husband also enjoyed the espresso. And overall we really just enjoyed hanging out in the cute comfy space.

8.5/10 I love, love, love, love, love this location. The atmosphere at Pavon Coffee Den is honestly one of the best setups I've seen for studying or getting work done. The lighting at the tables is perfect, the space feels cozy but still productive, and the hours are great. It's one of the few spots open later in the evening, which makes it really convenient if you're trying to work at night. That being said, this place gets packed. I came on a Tuesday around 9 PM and there was not a single table open. Every seat was taken. So if you're planning to study or camp out with a laptop, you definitely want to get there earlier. I ordered the iced Cloud Matcha latte. The barista mentioned it was sweeter than the strawberry matcha, but when I first tried it, it tasted pretty grassy. I personally like my matcha very sweet, almost smoothie-level sweet. Once I mixed it more it tasted better, so next time I'll probably ask for extra cold foam to make it sweeter. The prices are definitely on the higher side. It was about $9 for a small, which is pretty steep for a matcha. But honestly, I kind of get it. The vibe, the atmosphere, and the late hours make it a really good place to hang out or study, especially since there aren't many places open like this. Overall, it's a great coffee shop to have in your back pocket when you need a late night study spot.

first time at pavon as I was visiting houston for the holidays! I got a ube matcha latte and the flavors were great! I could really taste the ube. it was a little pricey though but I understand the area may mean prices need to compensate their costs. there's plenty of seating inside and outside! I saw a lot of people studying. my only complaint is the person at the register helping us did not seem to be in a great mood and I felt a little awkward trying to ask questions about the menu. I get that it is the holidays and they may not necessarily have wanted to be working but I shouldn't feel uncomfortable ordering.

We really enjoyed Pavón Coffee on a recent Saturday morning. We decided to stop by while out and about and the line/wait wasn't more than 10 minutes. I appreciated that they have a large menu board right when you walk in in addition to the menu at the counter and above/behind the counter. There are tons of coffee and non coffee drinks to choose from. We went with a vanilla rose latte with oat milk and Texas peach americano. Both were super smooth, not overly sweet, had nice rose and peach notes, and overall tasted fresh and high quality. Pricing is a bit on the higher side ($8ish a piece for our drinks) but it felt justified by the quality. Service was friendly and fairly quick as well given how busy they were that morning. We didn't stick around long but their dining area and patio are open, airy, and lots of folks were working/studying. Looking forward to returning in the near future. Ps, they have seasonal drinks on a menu board behind and to the right of the ordering counter.

I visited on a weekend afternoon and while the place was clearly popular, it wasn't so congested that you couldn't find a seat. Parking- imo very important in Houston. There's plenty of free street parking and a valet parking lot. Snacks - plenty of sweet and savory baked goods of acceptable quality Drinks - not sure about their standard drinks but I appreciate that they have a fall holiday menu. I had a pretty solid cinnamon bun latte and the whip cream had cream cheese which is a nice touch. Price- my total came out to be $14 which, I really think is not bad. I've gone to places and gotten two drinks(boba or coffee) and the total rounded to $20. Service- very friendly and reasonably quick. They offered my puppy a pup cup! Interior - lots and lots of seating, with variety too. So you could come here to chat, work, or even do a casual meeting. They even have an outdoor patio which I appreciate as a dog lover

One of my favorite cafes in Houston. I'm not sure if it's because of the vibe or because of the coffee but I LOVE IT. I've been there during the day and during the night time. I highly recommend going at night, I'm not sure if it's just the scene of romanticizing your life with coffee at a cafe at night, but it was such a vibe! The place stays open late and it becomes more chill with warm, dim lit lighting. Great place to just hang out, read a book, or do work. During the day it's also very great. So many people come and just sit around and chat. There's around 40 people worth of seating inside including outdoor. I like the interior and there's outlets by the walls. It is a more modern, dark aesthetic with leather and velvet couches and gold accents with lights. As for the coffee, I think they have all the classics like Americanos, lattes, etc. and the rose coffee is a hit! They also have desserts but I have never tried. Parking also is kinda tight though. There is a valet paid lot nearby, but also a lot of street side parking in neighborhoods. I recommend parking nearby and walking if you don't want to pay.

Walked over this morning which seemed to work better than attempting to park on their side street. We were able to get quick service. I was honestly disappointed with the cost of my pumpkin chai latte considering it was 8 dollars for not that big of one with a lot of ice. I understand that I am paying for the feel of the place which is cute. I feel the drip coffee at 4 something was high but likely the best value with free refills. Overall it's a special occasion type coffee for me rather than a daily spot.

I came here on Friday afternoon (3 pm) to do homework with my friend. As the other reviews suggest, parking is a nightmare, so you'll have to get lucky finding a spot in the streets. The service was nice, and I appreciated how they served us the drinks, and one of the workers even came to place napkins under our cups. Pavon's interior is gorgeous and spacious, though I wish more outlets were available! Someone I know suggested Pavon due to their Banana Crema. But unfortunately, it's only a summer seasonal drink :( so I ordered their Iced Cinnamon Bun latte with soy for $8.66, so it's definitely on the pricier side. I'm not much of a coffee connoisseur, but truthfully, the cinnamon taste was very subtle, and it just tasted like a regular latte drink; the class cups it's served in were aesthetic though! There is definitely an effort to be environmentally friendly since we were also provided paper straws. I'd return to Pavon due to its lovely ambiance, and I want to try their Blueberry Pie latte along with their Banana Crema one day, but I wouldn't come often. I'm glad I gave it a try!

We came here for a book club meeting, and I really liked the vibe of the coffee shop. There is parking in the surrounding areas and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Service was good, quick and efficient. I really liked the empanada and would recommend it with the chimichurri sauce. I will definitely be back!

The $8 price point is a little hard to swallow, but worth trying at least once! Milk bread is soft and the brisket goes really great with sriracha. The hoisin was a tad too salty for me; I think it would work best if it had, in theme, the aromatics from actual pho, otherwise it's too heavy. The yuzu lemonade was citrusy and refreshing, definitely hits the spot during the summer.
