This place was just what I needed this morning. The coffee selection is awesome, with lots of choices for origin and roast level. Truly delicious. I also had a pastry and enjoyed every bit of it. I liked the music that was playing, they had an early 2000s pop punk/emo playlist going and I'm all about it. The baristas were nice and they got everything out pretty quickly. I'll be back next time I'm in the area. The only thing I would say is that it is a little pricy. But that's expected in downtown Houston. Not a surprise to me, and not something that will keep me away. The coffee they serve here is worth it in my opinion. I'll do work on my computer, listen to some good 2000s emo/punk, and drink my pour over sourced from a small farm in Mexico anytime I'm in the area.

This matcha latte revived me! So delicious! I ordered a matcha with oat milk - sweetened with honey and it was sooo good! The service was quick and ambiance is a smaller but quiet coffee shop. It was a great stop after our brunch!

This was my first time trying at Tenfold. I was in town for a concert and staying downtown and was pleases. The service was nice. I was bummed that the didn't have any pumpkin spice for the dulce leche was delicious! So good, I came back the next morning for a Dulce Leche oatmilk latte. The coffee shop is super cute and close to a park area. The next time I can in town I will be visiting.

So much that's so amazing about this place! This spot has some delicious craft cocktails, perfectly brewed cold brew, and THE BEST grilled cheese I've ever had in my life. Nothing was trying to be too fancy or over the top, so they executed each item perfectly. They got slammed with the huge cheer competition happening in front of them, but always stayed friendly, worked as quickly and efficiently as possible, and continued to deliver tasty drinks and treats.

Space is great, barista was very nice but the coffee had very poor flavor. I just visited the heights store last week and had a coffee and it was fantastic. I'm very disappointed because I expected the same quality of coffee.

Tenfold is your typical modern coffee shop selling pastries and artisan coffees at a high price. The space itself is clean and next to Discovery Green making it accessible and cozy. Not a very easy place to park around though so keep that in mind. They feature a very straightforward menu and a decent variety of pastries and other food. Since we were on a road trip we stopped in to grab a quick bite and settled on their breakfast tacos. They are pretty overpriced at about $5 a taco and it's pretty small, not a good value at all. The taco itself was decent though, a bacon, egg, and cheese one with a very good green hot sauce. If we weren't so hungry we likely would've balked at the price but when in Rome. The interior is bright and welcoming and their bathrooms are nice and clean as well. Overall, this is more a quick, convenient spot than a go to we would say. Good for the neighborhood, but no reason to go there otherwise.

Morning coffee and a bite to eat, and check email. The coffee was good. I appreciate the coffee mug. I had an orange and cranberry scone, which was delicious. Not from Costco. Looks like they are into artisan coffee. The space is bright and airy. Lots of natural light. There is a variety of seating. A little on the loud side ( stone floor and high ceilings). There is outdoor seating on the sidewalk. The service was friendly. It was not busy on a Wednesday morning making for a decent place from some computer work.

Cute hidden gem and the service was really friendly. I ordered the pineapple coconut matcha drink and it definitely hit the spot in the hot houston weather. It was fruity and refreshing and the pineapple/coconut did not overwhelm the matcha flavor. Highly recommend checking this place out!

Popped into Tenfold while I was attending an event at the convention center across the street. Incredible craft coffee, delicious pastries, and friendly staff!

I ordered the matcha latte with oat milk and vanilla syrup. The barista did warn me that they don't sweeten them which is why I added the syrup (at extra cost) and he was not lying. Even with the syrup, it was not very sweet and for this slight sweet tooth it was disappointing. I've seen a lot of reviews mentioning a strong matcha taste but that was not the case, mine tasted a bit diluted and watered down. It also ended up leaving me with an irritated throat from the unmixed matcha particles.

Houston has a ton of great coffee shops so finding good coffee isn't difficult. I think the challenge here is finding who genuinely care and are passionate which this shop does very well. I love coming here, its very clean and spacious and helps that its across discovery green when you want to take your coffee to go. Coffee is great and location is ever better, can't go wrong with a visit to Tenfold's downtown location.

Quick, tasty will definitely be coming back. I ordered an iced honey latte with oat milk!

I wanted to give them 5 stars but the matcha fell short. This coffee shop is located downtown near discovery green and this place is so inviting with natural light. Every time I've gone in it's very quiet so the atmosphere is library-esque, at least the times I've gone. The service was great. I've never had any issues with the staff. There are a few places to sit inside and outside with a lot of coffee options and a small selection of pastries. Enjoy. Peace.

The best black sesame latte in Houston…read more I'm always looking for black sesame flavored drinks ever since I tried it in Seattle, so I was excited that TwoTone had it. The nuttiness of the sesame goes SOOO well with the espresso taste and it's a good creaminess too. I also like the texture of the bits of sesame seeds in the drink. The aesthetic of the cafe is modern with street-style flairs, it's a really cool space. I also love that there are Filipino flavors on the menu like ube and pandan. Most workers are super nice and say your name like they know you. They're also super attentive to ensure that everything with your order is perfect. Jonah was very welcoming and helpful, making sure we got a menu while in line! The weekdays seem to be better for wait-time, with little to no wait. The weekends however are packed and usually have lines. If you're not a line person, I would definitely come on a weekday. TwoTone is probably the best specialty coffee you can get in Houston, especially in terms of Asian flavors and creaminess. If it was closer to inner Houston, I would probably come here everyday.

My first visit was a 1star but I gave it a second try because a friend asked me to…read more I was told that this was an amazing new coffee shop and just happened to be on my route to work. It's off the feeder road of I-10 and in an inconspicuous place. It's a retail space and at first glance it looks empty and kind of shady granted, I was there around 7 AM. It may be busier and more lively later in the day or on weekends. In any case I pulled up and I saw their sign, but I was kind of concerned that it was closed because you couldn't see through the windows and again the parking lot just looked empty . I went to the door and went in. It's a very minimalist space and the decor of cold concrete floors matched the attitude and personalities of the people working that day. I was never graded, and there were a couple people sitting, waiting for coffees... There was no menu to be seen at first glance but I have a very simple order that I had in my mind because I like espresso and not sweet sugary drinks. I walked up to the register and there was a young girl who just looked at me like I was bothering her her by being in front of her. She never smiled, and she just waited for me to order. I told her good morning and she replied "Morning"...barely opened her mouth, not welcoming (or sincerity) and no smile. My order was simple.: three shots of espresso, 2 ounces of half-and-half and caramel drizzle mixed in the espresso. She looked at me weird and said ...so you want a latte? I said no not at all because I only want 2 ounces of half-and-half. I don't want all the milk of a latte. She didn't look down at the computer and kind of looked behind at a barista, and then looked back at the computer and said we do our shots in doubles .... Meaning she wouldn't give me only three shots I had to buy four. I thought that was interesting since other local shops indulge me without an issue, but I agreed to four shots. She asked me if that was it and I said yes..... I was very surprised but paid over $10 for my order of one drink! I paid because honestly, I was already ready to get out. I paid and I waited about 15 minutes for my coffee, even though there was only one person waiting for their coffee before me. I got my drink and left before tasting it. It was awful. The pull was not done well and the coffee tasted almost sour. Ugh. I was so disappointed. The very next day, my coworker said give it another try maybe it was just an off day . She also said she'd buy my coffee to make up for it so I couldn't turn that down This time I went a little bit later there was about three people in line before me. They had a lot more staff working probably about five people in total versus three the previous day. There was a different girl to front who took my order and was the total opposite of the lady the day before; bright eyed, kind and very welcoming. My coffee was still over $10 and this time it took me 35 minutes to get my coffee. I don't know if they had DoorDash orders or what, but I couldn't understand why there was a lot more workers and it took double the time to get my coffee. Once I got my coffee, it did taste better than my first visit, but still had a little bit of sour taste... Not as much as before though. Even if it ended up tasting better, I could not validate paying $10 for my coffee and waiting up to 35 minutes for it.. Especially when I can go to any of my other local coffee shops that I normally frequent for a less than $5 coffee (that only has three shots that I want) and the great service and flavor is always consistent. I never want to see any business fail. So I hope that the owners will discuss the importance of consistency in making their product, as well as being hospitable. There are so many coffee shops in Houston that one could choose from.
