    Birthday cake latte
    Carly H.

Good vibes and great variety on the menu including seasonal items. I had the birthday cake latte, a black coffee, and a bagel with egg and avocado. Everything was delicious and it was tempting to hang out for hours.

Great and huge place to grab matcha and coffee! Friendly workers and I loved the ambiance inside. The matcha was great! I highly recommend and would come back!

Honey matcha w/pistachio milk - 10/10 - Best honey matcha ive had and matcha was strong Banana matcha w/vanilla cold foam - 8/10 - Matcha was so good but barely had banana flavor Gingerbread latte w/pumpkin cold foam - 6.5/10 - Foam was good but coffee had a sour taste, and didnt taste like gingerbread Maple pecan latte w/pistachio milk - 7/10 - More on the bitter side, i liked the bits of pecan but didnt taste much like maple Hot cocoa - 9.5/10 - Loved the spices in this Gingerbread cookie - 7/10 - Kinda hard but gingerbread flavor was nice and lightly sweet Pumpkin concha - 8/10 - Soft and moist with a nice coating but didnt taste much like pumpkin Las Perras has some really good matcha so if youre in the area, stop by to try it! They have many syrups and foams to choose from as well. Their coffee is on the more stronger/bitter side so if you like that then you might like the coffee!

Las Perras Cafe pays homage to female leaders and activists-with beverages named after Dolores Huerta, Angela Davis, and Alma Negra. Love supporting women- and Latina-owned businesses, and Las Perras is another added to my list. So, I finally treated myself to Las Perras again since their big grand opening this spring (it was incredibly busy that day and I don't think it was fair to review that experience since it wasn't a typical one). This time, I got a banana matcha-hot. And I brought my own to-go cup (tryna to cut back on single-use plastics). It was good, not too sweet per my request. They have a lovely setup of tables and nooks flanked my plants and beautiful wall art. Outside, there's a spacious gravel patio with a Dominican (and woman-owned) food truck, Flor Y Miel.

Visited Saturday afternoon on 2/14. The coffee was just okay, not bad, but nothing memorable. The inside of the shop is actually very nice and aesthetically pleasing, which I loved. Unfortunately, the customer service didn't match the vibe. As a first-time customer, I felt rushed and the staff member helping me seemed impatient and not very helpful when I had questions.

Love the coffee and matcha! The cafe de olla iced latte is my personal favorite! This is one of my go to cafes for solo dates and to hang out with friends. There's plenty of seating options and the interior design and ambiance is beautiful! Everyone is very welcoming and kind! Their cocktails are also 10/10!!

Loved this coffee shop. I stay away from sugary drinks, I prefer strong, good tasting savory coffee. So I really enjoyed this place. Every time I am in town I have to stop for coffee. I always get a lavendar iced latte and a cortado.

These Perras Know Their Coffee!" Okay, first of all--the name alone pulled me in. Las Perras? Iconic. Bold. Spicy. Just like their espresso. This place is not your average hipster coffee shop. From the neon sign that says "Sip Like a P*rra" to the playlist that bounces from Bad Bunny to old-school Selena, the energy here is unmatched. It's like your abuelita's kitchen met a trendy downtown café and they decided to open a business together. I got the café de olla with oat milk (bless them for having dairy-free options that don't taste like sadness), and it was a warm, cinnamon-spiced hug in a cup. Also tried their concha breakfast sandwich--yes, you read that right--and I may never recover. Sweet. Savory. Magic. The staff? Sassy in the best way. They're quick with a recommendation and somehow remember everyone's name by your second visit. Love that for us. Seating is limited, so get there early if you plan to post up for a bit. But whether you're grabbing a to-go cup or sticking around to vibe, Las Perras delivers.

wanted to love this but unfortunately this did not hit! for ~$19 for two drinks, i wish the matcha was brighter and packed more flavor. i love the natural lighting and think this shop has such unique character.

Love this cafe! We have been wanting to come check this place out for a while. Finding it in Instagram it did not disappoint trying their drinks. The drinks were delivered fast and the customer service was nice. Andrea, the owner, was very welcoming and we chatted briefly about the advocacy and the community engagement they have in the store. Having a little Xoloitzcuintli made this place more special for us and the decoration they have. Great place to come chill and also work. Parking might be tough but it's a must.

They had so many drinks to choose from and some food. I liked the variety of things they had to offer and I think I even saw a window for people sitting outside to order at. I only tried a couple of drinks. The first one I tried was the matcha average mule and I guess if you like Moscow mules you would enjoy this. I didn't really find the matcha flavor strong or there at all. It had a lot of the lime flavor more than anything else. The other drink I tried was the pretty in pina which is basically a pina colada. That drink was my favorite amongst the two. It tasted like your classic pina colada. Service was also great I didn't have any issues.

And cheers to us for having a IRL meet up! I loved all of the plants that were around. There is a full bar with yummy food items on the menu. Not pictured are shrimp tacos and I had the beef tacos that were surprisingly really good for a taco snob like myself. Lastly, it was happy hour we had two matcha mules (hold the matcha). They were very tasty and the barista/mixologist knew exactly what they were doing! The customer service was a 10/10! I do wish that the bathrooms could use a little more love with have an air freshener in there as well as a wipe down of the sink because it was water every where. Needless to say next time I'm in HTX I will pay them a visit.

I got the saag paneer kolache and the gajar ka halwa bread pudding. Now anyone who knows me, knows I'm a fiend for gajar ka halwa and saag paneer so this was a must. I haven't had this place before, but the collab definitely pulled me in! Savory vegetarian kolache options do not come often, and I really hope this inspires Eadough to add and keep more of them. The bread was so soft and pillowy and the saag paneer was flavored well without being too strong or punchy. The gajar ka halwa bread pudding was amazing - not too sweet which is difficult when it comes to most indian desserts. I recommend eating this warm or heated as it was a bit too dry when cooled or at room temperature. When heated, the cake was moist and buttery which played very well to bringing out some key flavors. I can't speak to the service, but the packaging was cute. I hope to come here again and try other options from their regular menu, but hope they keep these two going!

When we arrived I realized the place is a walk up shop so we roamed around once for parking and realized they actually have a small area to the right of the shop to park- it can be easy to miss. When we walked up, their pastries looked delicious! I ordered their s'mores croffin. For my drink I got the turmeric wellness hot drink- I read a lot of reviews complaining about wait time. We arrived around 10am on a weekday and it was quite empty. There was relatively no wait time for our drinks. My drink was unsweetened so I added packets of sugar into it and the pastry was delightful- crunchy, buttery, sweet, chocolaty on the inside all at the same time. This place has some picnic looking benches outside of it if you are interested in staying there. I highly recommend! I'm ready to go back and try some of their other pastries.

I asked to have it changed out for the lobster & grits...instead of having the meal expedited due to the poor quality of the item originally ordered...it was put in que with all orders of the restaurant causing a severe delay in receiving my food. The rest of our party had eaten and fully finished and my reorder never came. I decided to cancel my order so that we could leave. My husband ordered food, received half his order. Had to remind the waitress of the missing main dish. My son ordered a soda and had to wait over 10 min to receive after reminding the waitress he never received it. Family friend requested a substituted item and had to remind the waitress after receiving his food that the item wasn't substituted out like asked. Take note that none of the protein we had has any flavor...just the breading and sauces. (Lobster, burger, chicken). The passion fruit mimosa had no hint of flavor...it tastes like we drank a cheap bottle of champagne. No quality water available...we were approached initially with tap water bottled in a glass bottle like it was filtered. When we asked for mineral or sparkling water...they were out (this was shortly after opening) Only had Ozarka (in a plastic bottle). Too much back and forth for a $250+ bill. Then you automatically add 18% grat when honestly it wasn't worth it. We've paid less for much better service and quality of food. Proceed with caution.
