Stopped in because I was across the way at the market and wanted a drink. Unfortunately they didn't have what I was looking for. They were very busy and the decor was super cute. They have a ramp for mobility reason and a unisex bathroom. The staff didn't seem too friendly but that could have been because they were just running around busy. I might just have to give them another try some morning when I'm really wanting a coffee and they aren't so busy.
I ordered a Matcha latte. It was good, the matcha tasted of high quality than most places. The barista was friendly and welcoming and made my drink fairly quickly. This is a nice space to study or stick around to sip on your drink and chat with friends. I would come back if I was in the area again.
In my continued quest to try more of the local spots in the East End, Oso Coffee Co was next on my list. I've had multiple friend recommendations to come here, and today was finally the day I came through. On this cold and rainy day, this cozy coffee shop was just the pick me up I needed. The interior is small, but quaint in the best way possible. They already had a little Christmas tree setup and Christmas music playing in the background. Service was super fast and the owner was really friendly. This particular visit I tried their horchata latte hot, sausage/egg breakfast taco, and bacon/egg breakfast taco. Talk about a great start to your morning! The horchata latte was perfectly made featuring Tenfold coffee beans without being overly sweet, and their breakfast tacos are made fresh to order. 10/10 will be back again to try more of their menu! Enjoy! P.S. I heard they have a run club?! I need to come back for that for sure.
Today was my first day stopping by, I ordered the cream cheese chorizo kolache and Horchata latte, the kolache at first bite was just bread and was I got to the center it was mostly cream cheese with very little chorizoThe end bites were also just bread. The horchata latte tasted more coffee like with light hints of horchata, the beverage is already pre made with whole milk so there aren't and milk substitutes available for this drink However service was fast and it's a nice place to just relax or get some work done.
Ordered from here via DoorDash and I guess it would've better to skip it. The "strawberry" matcha was almost $10 and barely had any strawberry in it (so it didn't actually taste like strawberries) and the matcha flavor itself was not good. We also ordered three breakfast tacos (the papa and egg ones) and at $4.50 a pop, they were good but not great. The breakfast torta was also just okay. I'm sure there was a price difference between ordering in person vs DoorDash but I can't say I'd ever go back here.
Walking in the area and decided to stop in at Oso Coffee. Very friendly staff, ordered an espresso chai latte and it was phenomenal! The inside is somewhat small but a very homey and coffee shop vibe and ambiance would definitely come back when in the area
Good place for Mexican drinks, coffee, matcha, and pastry items. Great space to sit down or to catch up with friends or work. They have a big parking lot. Good service. I highly recommend it would come back.

The staff was super friendly and amazing I even added 2 shots of espresso into my matcha strawberry. I will definitely be back to try more especially that mocha drink with abuelita chocolate.
Friendly staff, cute little shop, good coffee and sprinkle chocolate donuts make this place a hit! We came in on a Sunday morning and the place was packed with happy, caffeinated individuals. I ordered the horchata latte and while deliciously cinnamon-y, it was too sweet for me. But I did enjoy it! My son got the chocolate iced donut with sprinkles and he absolutely loved it, no surprise. The other Mexican baked sweets looked yummy too, Across the street, there were tents set up with different shops and live music. Great place to enjoy a nice weather week in Houston!

I tried the iced horchata latte, which was delightful - sweet, obvious horchata flavor. I tried the weenie-egg breakfast taco for about $4 (forgot exactly how much, but that's a normal price) which was delicious too. They also sell pastries including donuts and conchas, but I didn't try those. They offer a fuller food menu menu Fri-Sun. Would recommend this spot as a place to relax, unwind, socialize opposed to study, as there isn't much seating or space to spread out and do work. Would definitely come back to this gem!

It's not a finished parking lot so if you have a nice car, keep out. Such a comfortable place on the inside. Unique and lively decorations everywhere. Coffee was spot on. The horchata latte was tasty as was my caramel cappuccino. Taco wasn't anything to write home about but also was clearly homemade all the way. I really liked the ambience of the place. It wasn't sterile and white and clean like all of the other new places. It literally felt like the home it was built in. It had authenticity in its bones which is something Houston is starting to lack in some of the newer places.
I love the unique flavors and approach to coffee. Who doesn't want a donut or pan with their drink? Perfect. 10/10
Get the sabroso!! It won't disappoint!! Literally a latte topped with a cute and colorful concha (a pastry)!! Super photo worthy!! Coffee is great by the way, not overly sweet and good expresso flavor. Staff is very friendly and will make you feel welcome. There are two common space to sit and work but quarters are a bit close just fyi. I will be back to this place for sure!! Happy Yelping!

I stopped by here since it was on the Houston Coffee food crawl list and have always heard it was a good spot. Needless to say it did not disappoint and was honestly better than I expected! I ordered an horchata matcha which I haven't seen anywhere else. It comes pre-made so I wasn't expecting much but I was still quite surprised by how good it was. It could've used a bit more matcha to balance it out since it leans more horchata-forward, but that's a minor thing. Still a solid, unique drink and one I'd recommend trying at least once. I wasn't planning on getting food but the papa & egg taco was actually fireee. The potato and egg were seasoned very well, not so dry and rubbery, probably one of the best breakfast taco's I've had so I'd also recommend getting one of those. They have a few other interesting drinks and flavors that I don't see on other menus so I'll be making another trip back! read more

Stopped in as part of a coffee crawl around Houston. I've passed it a number of times previously. The service was friendly. I had tried to look ahead online vs on the menu. I ended up ordering the strawberry surprise which is strawberry with horchata. Not bad. Strong strawberry flavor. Semi wish I had realized that I accidentally ordered something without espresso or matcha. Overall cute spot. Seating up front and at the bar. That's where I felt it was a bit awkward. There were a couple of folks sitting there which is good but honestly the register on the corner as shown is a very awkward spot with the people sitting there. I feel like I was in the way after ordering with other folks waiting on their coffees too. It was a bit tight from the customers perspective. So I decided to venture around the EDO area of Houston. Now if you have not been there recently, it has changed in leaps and bounds. So I was looking for a coffee place and was recommended OSO Coffee by none other than social media. When you walk up you immediately notice how this nice little coffee shop once was once a home in this growing neighborhood. The choices of coffee flavors and types were exceptional. I was not expecting there to also be breakfast options. The fresh Mexican bakery options were also a wonderful addition. I highly recommend the pineapple empanadas. Checked out Oso Coffee Co. today and the staff was welcoming as soon I stepped in very helpful with what to order as well. What I ordered : - Iced Horchata Latte This is their most popular drink and I definitely recommend! I tried the horchata as a sample and it was perfect so good. If you are hesitant about the sweetness or unsure just ask for a sample of the horchata, it's homemade not powder. They also have a run club every Thursday at 6:30pm. We are in town and I looked up some coffee spots and found this on a list of coffee spots to visit in Houston. So, we decided to check this place out. First and foremost, very chill vibes and cute little spot. It's small but cozy. Great for students or business meetings but small groups. Large groups would make it a bit crowded. They do have an outside patio but it's kind of snug. Service and staff are efficient, respectful, and quick. I can only speak for the coffee because that's all I had but I would revisit if I'm in town and try the food next time. Based off of the reviews, food looks pretty good. Coffee was very good, we got the horchata coffee and latte with hazelnut . Very refreshing. Definitely check this joint out. Till then, let's sip! read more
Oso Coffee is one of my favorite places to visit for Horchata Coffee in Houston. If you were driving past here, you would have never guessed that it was a cafe as it resembles a house. The parking lot is very spacious and consists of gravel (FYI for my smaller cars). The staff are super friendly and always have a smile on their face. Be warned, the weekends can become especially packed but your drinks come out relatively quick. I ordered the strawberry horchata with a shot of expresso and a concha. I don't believe they make their conchas in house, however every time I visit, I always have to order one. It's the perfect combination of soft and fluffy. I added a shot of expresso to the strawberry horchata latte and this might be the best combination I have done. Although, it is a bit on the pricer side compared to other local coffee shops, it is definitely worth it. The flavors pair perfectly together and Oso just does it right. Fun little coffe spot on the Navigation Promenade in EaDo. It's got a cutesy feel to this updated house turned business. Coffee was good enough for me, tried the Horchata Latte. They serve some food as well, but was coming here for a post lunch digestif, and didn't try any. It's a little cramped on the inside and as such most of the seating is outdoors. I went to an event that was across the street and seen there was a super long line outside this coffee shop. I had to see what the hype was about so I joined the line! After waiting almost 20 minutes I tried my Iced Horchata Latte and was super disappointed. My drink taste so gritty and the flavors are not balanced. From what I seen, this was their most popular drink, so I'm hoping it was just an off day since they were so busy. Even a staff member made a comment about how long the line was. The inside of the shop is super small with minimal seating so keep that in mind if you decide to go with a larger group. read more

LIMITED SEATING. PARKING LOT AVAILABLE. Cute house converted into coffee shop. There are only TWO tables available for dine in / work space. If you're feeling up to it, you could ask to share but both tables were single-occupied. More of a coffee TO-GO place but considering this was an out of the way destination for me I don't see myself coming back here. I wanted to try the SABRASOS, a combo of a latte & concha but they ran out of conchas which seemed like a good sign. They can sub for a donut. I opted for just the horchata latte which is one of their signatures. Unfortunately, HORCHATA LATTE had a weird thick mouth feel & the coffee left a burnt/sour aftertaste. One of the more unique coffee spots in the area, it's Mexican flair is perfect for the brisk mornings. The vibe is cozy and depending on who is playing music just adds to the ambiance of this establishment. The service is good and makes you feel at home! I even got a compliment on my jacket! read more
Cute hipster boutique coffee spot in EaDo on Navigation. Outside parking is available in their gravel lot as there is not much space to park on the street. Interior is very small, with one table and a few seats at the bar. Cool hip vibe; we got their horchata latte and although it was a bit sweet for me, it was solid in terms of flavor. There was already a group inside chatting and it was a bit confusing to see who's in line to order and who's just hanging around in general. Like their specialized bear coffee cup and the general EaDo vibe inside. Downside in my opinion is the price, which unfortunately matters at a time when spending power is at an all time low; it was $7.85 for one drink after tax/before tip. Easy to find, plenty of parking space right next to it. Small but super cute, with great outdoor seating. Horchata latte (3.5/5) it didn't have much horchata taste but the coffee was delicious over all. The bread could have been a little more toasty but tasted good. Oso Coffee is located on the East End in the 2nd Ward next to other small businesses, and as of right now, it is only open for a limited time from 9 am to 2 pm. There is a parking lot on the side for the small businesses there. Upon enetering Oso, there is merch on the left side, a seating area on the right side, and a small selection of various baked goods. The place is pretty small and the seating area can only fit a few people, but the decor is really cute and has a nice wall of drawings. Their menu has a lot of basic drinks and also a special drinks. I got the horchata latte and the horchata strawberry surprise along with a concha. The horchata latte was one of the best I have ever had! It was cinnamony, but not too overwhelmingly sweet, which I like. The horchata strawberry surprise was on the sweeter side, but it was super good with a himt of cinnamon and had a good portion of strawberry jam. The concha I got paired well with the horchata latte, and I really enjoyed both drinks. Overall, I really enjoyed the drinks here. The vibes of the shop was cute and felt very personal, and the workers were also nice. I would definitely come back! read more

I have an extensive list of coffee shops on my "must try" and Oso has definitely been on my list. I got up early this morning and decided to swing by for a coffee with a friend. The location is very small but extremely inviting. The inside can sit maybe 10-15 people and there is some outdoor seating available. I could see this place getting packed pretty quickly. The staff is very friendly and the service is fast. While we already had breakfast prior to arriving we were pleasantly surprised they offered a breakfast menu. We both had the horchata latte and a concha. We really enjoyed the horchata latte was really good, super excited to try more drinks! This might be my new regular! read more
I've been here many times. Their horchata cold brew is one of my favorites. I also order the horchata latte hot and pour over. Hot dog and egg tacos are so nostalgic and delicious!
