Came to study the other day because we've been planning on trying it out. This place has been a long standing popular spot around Houston but I think it may not be up my alley. I think the drinks were ok, we had a latte and americano. They were good but I feel like I've had better and a bit more flavorful drinks. We did get flavored drinks but I feel like the coffee was all I really tasted. And at that I wish the coffee was a bit more aromatic. There are a good amount of seats and a good sized parking lot. I believe some of the tables had plugs and there was really good natural light. All the baristas were also so nice and friendly. One thing that did bother me were some bugs that were going around. I think it may be because of the plants in there that we were sitting near.

Awesome shop almost tucked into a neighborhood. Huge patio to enjoy a cup and plenty of space inside as well. Great staff and coffee options. Had a great cup of Nitro and one of the specialty lattes. Check out their downtown location as well, they have happy hour cocktails!

One of my go-to coffee shops in town! Always incredibly crowded here and the vibe is much louder then your traditional little cafe/coffee shops. I personally enjoy the ambiance here quite a bit with their industrial style atmosphere and large community table in the middle. I've found this to be one of my favorite places to read my books. There is a outdoor patio as well that I enjoy when the weather cools down. Roughly ~3 large tables, one large community table in the middle, one high circular table, 4 bar-style seats along their counter, and a few smaller tables are available for seating. Pictured in this review - Fall 2025 seasonal drinks- Black rice horchata (traditional horchata made with forbidden rice) - very sweet as one would expect! Cornaccino (cappuccino + corn caramel syrup) - for those who love sweet coffee, they'll love this! Pumpkin spice latte - very light sweetness, you'll definitely taste the spice however! Probably the drink I like best on their Fall 2025 seasonal drink menu. They roast their own beans and are pretty prominent in the coffee community! There is another location located downtown so downtown folks might be more familiar with this location. They have partnered with Paper Co. Cafe and I also believe the 'Switchyards Houston'. Their mission is to proudly roast and serve high quality coffee and partner with ethically sustainable coffee. I would recommend checking them out!

If you're looking for a Matcha that tastes like Starbucks, then this might be the place for you but if you are a matcha connoisseur like me then this is not the place for you. Great spot to get coffee. It looks like, great space indoor and outdoor. They offer a wide selection of coffee. The Matcha was watered down and very plain just like milk. I will come back to try their coffee though.

Stopped in to get a coffee and saw they offer an affogato! I've been waiting to try one forever and I'm so glad I stopped in here! The vanilla ice cream they use is incredible and the coffee is so rich it almost tastes like chocolate. Absolutely incredible! The service was fast and the space is pretty cool, a good space to do some work while you caffeinate

Very good coffee and quality. The place is always ecrowded though, but the coffee is worth the wait.

Amazing 10/10. They do have a lot of clients lol but I got there 20 mins before they opened to be there bright and early! It went great, they opened right on time and were so welcoming. Will keep going for sure! Great place to chat and drink coffee with friends.

Cute lil Cafe, wide open space where you can sit and enjoy some coffee and a pastry or sweets. Staff was friendly. We ordered 2 scones and 2 alfajores, the other options were love bun, mini croissant, red velvet cookie. The scone was yum, it had like a lemon icing on the top. The alfajores was even better than the ones at Churrasco's! They were thicket yet still soft with powdered sugar on top. I definitely recommend this place if you want some coffee and a lil dessert.

Great drinks, terrible parking. I know it's not really their fault for the parking but it was nearly impossible to get parking around 10am on a Saturday.

Nope. The coffee was mid, the matcha was mid. The seating situation is very cramped. And it was so loud. I definitely didn't have the best time. For the record I came here more than 3 times and reached the same conclusion every time I visited. Don't think I'll be back

The croissants are amazing! They are a bit pricey but they have so many to choose from. I loved my goat cheese and turkey croissant. The seating is first come first serve so if you come on the weekend it does get busy. They do have a parking lot but that fills up fast so be prepared for street parking. The staff was nice and completed our orders quickly. The inside was a typically coffee shop and they have a ton of seating. I was not the biggest fan of my latte, I have had better latte in Houston. If I go back I will definitely try a different drink.

Got a bag of the Burundi, and their drip (Columbia Brazil blend). I've been here twice and really like their drip coffee. Vibes & atmosphere here are great as well. Service is very friendly and knowledgeable about their product as well. This is probably my favorite shop after Southside Espresso (which I'm not sure still exists).

Good coffee! Plenty of seating indoor and outdoor but really packed. Came around 10:30 on a Saturday morning and the lot was full, and street parking was also full. They bring your drinks to you, waited maybe 10 minutes or so for my order to be fulfilled. Alternative milk is $0.95 and syrup is $0.75 . Default tip settings are higher. Came in December and they were playing Christmas music and decorated the space well. Personally would be too loud for me to work here. Dog friendly! There's another location in downtown that I meant to try - so be sure to look at the address when you type in Tenfold.

How much per pound/bag is their coffee beans? When are they usually roasted? Thank you.

Their prices varies. It's not cheap. Their Ethiopia costs $19 for only $10.5oz. Box. And the next size up is 2lb. When I ask them how often they roast, they just said often. No exact time or day. I didn't buy any because they put their for sale… Read more

It's undoubtedly casual with a hipstery feel that is reminiscent of something that would be in Austin or Portland. The name is also appropo since I can never get out of here without ordering at least two cups of something. Another thumbs up is their affordable prices which are around $5 or less. In the inflated world of coffee and foodflation, this is always a thumbs up. Ironically I end up ordering their most expensive drinks, which are mainly their house favorites ($5.50). The secret squirrel, mochanut, sweet toff, and white mocha, which are all a solid option. Their matcha latte ($5) and lemonade ($3) are refreshing and easy to order on any of our warmest days. Service has also been among their strong suits. They've been efficient with orders, good to point people out to where bathrooms, WiFi passwords, and focusing on their mission of ending human trafficking. They have noted themselves as Houston's first non-profit coffee shop that is dedicated to ending human trafficking. Well then. In that case, I'll have another cup.

The place has a no frills coffee shop vibe that feels relaxed and focused on good coffee without trying too hard. They offer a wide variety of drinks and the visuals and descriptions make it easy to see exactly what you are getting and how each drink is made. I ordered a shakerato, which I think is my usual here, and it was light, smooth, and the perfect pick me up. My friends grabbed a few pastries and absolutely devoured them, so I guess I need to try the food options next time. Everything just feels straightforward and easy, which is part of why I keep coming back. I always catch myself eyeing the bags of coffee on the way in. They make great gifts or a nice at home treat, especially this time of year. Honestly, I should have grabbed one on the way out but I got distratced by conversation.

My beloved Boomtown RIP…read more This pains me to write. Different is certainly not always better, especially when what you had was already working. I much prefer the saying if it ain't broke don't fix it. To the people who bought this place, I know your motto is "different is better," but please stop taking that so literally. You do not have to change every aspect of this place to make it different. The best thing about getting your everyday local coffee is seeing the same baristas you've seen over and over again, familiar faces who know you by name. This was one of those places where I'd hate to admit how much money I've spent here, and I did it happily. In just three weeks, our beloved spot, one I would willingly drive out of my way for, has gone so far downhill that I barely recognize it. From the eyesore taco warmer that practically knocks you in the face while you're ordering, replacing a space that once showcased lovely things like fresh flowers and local trinkets, to the disappearance of the wonderful local treats from Sinfull Bakery that kids genuinely enjoyed. At first I thought maybe you were just out, but after three weeks it became clear that expenses were being cut across the board and those items may never come back. And where do I even begin. The new oat milk is terrible. It completely changes the look and taste of the coffee and is immediately noticeable. I won't harp on the change of hours or the change in flavor of your coffee beans, but I feel it must be mentioned because, well, it's noticeable. And now the cleanliness. Spilled taco sauce all over the floor, and when your kid points it out, you know you're in trouble at that point. Dishes piled so high they're overflowing, dirty restrooms. And to be clear, this isn't the staff's fault, there is simply not enough staff to keep up with these things. Never ever in seven years of being a frequent visitor has it been this bad. I also noticed the new coffee packaging, and it's just another reminder that the heart and thoughtfulness that once defined this place are gone. At this rate I half expect robots handing me my latte in a few weeks so you can save a few more bucks. And getting rid of Toast. Even if Toast was an expensive platform to use, it was legitimately so convenient. And dang, if you're going to do away with it, don't replace it with the worst possible ordering system ever, one that doesn't even work. Do you know how many orders I wouldn't have placed if it weren't for Toast? Toast made those orders possible when I didn't have time to wait. Without it, I simply wouldn't have ordered. I understand times are tough for many businesses, but you all were booming. The new online ordering system doesn't work. You may as well do away with it altogether because this one just isn't it. Honestly, I am devastated. You knocked it out of the park in every area, cleanliness, service, food. I never had a single bad item on the menu. The coffee was beyond. When my family moved out of the city a year and a half ago, I still drove 35 minutes one way just to get your food and coffee, over an hour round trip again and again. I don't think you understand how this new direction has driven this place into the ground in a matter of three weeks. Sadly all good things must come to an end.

I usually enjoy ending with the last bit of crust, but although it was good, it just wasn't finish worthy for me. Just a little too dry. I appreciated the Spring Greens, dressed lightly, that was included (my preferred side with a quiche). I tried my daughter's OSC Sandwich (Whitehurst Farms Chickens, Orange Sesame Glaze, Tiger Tear Saw, Avocado, Jalapeno, Marinated Egg, Pickles, Fruit, Tallow Chips, Focaccia), it was great. Maybe better than the Tart, I would certainly order it for myself for lunch. I know the honey pie is a big hit, but for me it was too sweet (I KNOW, that doesn't seem possible, right?!).
