The service was great. We got orange chicken lunch combo. And beef with mushrooms combination plate. You get an entree, Eggroll and fried rice for 11.95. The egg rolls were not frozen ones, they were hand made with care. Vegetable egg rolls I think, but pork rolls were on menu too. Orange chicken is better than at Panda Express. Try it from this little place instead. You'll get a nicer portion, better flavor and great prices. We also ordered beef with mushrooms. The beef is tender and velveted. It was too spicy for my husband. The waitress said they can make it not spicy, just ask. Hot &Sour soup is so good, so much flavor. We got won ton 2 dumplings in a cup. They have updated their menus and their cash register. However, they do not state anywhere on the menu or in the restaurant that there is a 3% up charge for using a credit card. I save my going out money to order and I always delete the bell pepper and onionkeeping everything else in dish especially the jalapeño. just received dinner for my family two of the same dish and soup and the spicy chicken dish came with just chicken. spicy chicken with no spice??? you think....easy, everyone makes mistakes they will make it right....wrong. Since this place has new ownership and management. I've seen major improvements just in the quality of the food and timely service. Had the Mongolian beef and add chicken to it, that homemade chili oil gives a lot of extra flavor. Raphael was very accommodating to the changes that I requested for the food, gave spatular service. Best tofu I have ever had in my life!!! I call in and pickup my order before I get to work, I must say the service is very good and they are very accommodating with changing my order around. I purchased Hunan beef, i was told they only put green onions. I also ordered 2 egg rolls. I got home to eat. I opened up container and saw a huge pile of fried white onions with a few pieces of beef. I tasted it and it was bland and tasteless. I could hardly believe so many friends onions, it tasted awful. I bit into the egg rolls, they were about half the length of a normal eggroll and very thick breading with very few vegetables. Terrible! I will never go there again, this mistake cost my $16 for the egg roll and Hunan beef. Pricey but the added poor quality food ads insult to injury. read more

Where are used to enjoy getting food from here so I'm not sure if they changed cooks or what but we took my parents tonight and got four different dishes and all of them were absolutely awful. The server was doing his best but he was swamped trying to manage the phones and all of the tables. My parents said this is the worst restaurant they've ever eaten at and so did my husband and I have to agree. Ordered lunch here today because of the good reviews here. Not sure why anyone likes this place... The fried rice is gross. It's probably a couple days old since the rice was so hard and dry. The hot and sour soup has too much vinegar and hardly anything in it. Kung pow chicken was alright and the Hunan beef was not good. Lastly, the egg roll was very bland. Will never come here again. Have visited this restaurant twice in the past three weeks. First, with a dear friend. Owner waited on us, not terribly friendly, but adequate, older woman, presumably wife, brought our food. Extremely curt and rude. The food here is quite good, and plentiful, very nice, quiet ambiance, however, I will not go back. Stopped in today to order Hot and Sour soup for my sick Hubby, same mean, gruff lady, snatched money out of my hand and delivered food, with a scowl. Sorry she isn't liking what she is doing. First of all - Chinese is not usually my first choice so that is why only 4 stars. It might well be worth a four or five star review depending on your taste. For Chinese food, this is nice place to go. It is located at the back of a small shopping center in the middle of Tomball. It is easy to get into and the food seems to be freshly made. This is my second trip here for lunch primarily because it is such a good deal for the amount of food yo get. Egg Drop Soup - very good. Not usually a big fan of soup but this stuff is amazing. It must have a half stick of butter or something in it because it is flavorful. General Tso Chicken - Nicely fried chicken with the right amount of breading. Not a huge fan of the sauce but it is not too bad. Kung Pao Chicken - nice amount of vegggies and a little spice without being too much. I may see if I can get the chicken from the General in my Kung Pao next time. Egg Rolls - seems hit or miss. First time was not so fresh - this time they were excellent. Had both fried and white rice - they are OK but a little clumpy. Still, not too bad. Certainly give this place a shot if you are in the mood for a little Chinese and happen to be in Tomball. Alot of food but the breading on sweet and sour chicken was so thick hard to find the chicken and was only given half a little container of sauce. My moo goo gai pan was gray and lacked flavor. Came here for a dinner last week with a friend after work. Literally walked in and stood by the front desk, then sat in the chairs in the front after standing there for 5 min with no response or any sign there was a single employee there. After sitting for a minute and looking on my Yelp app for other restaurants since I was pretty sure this one was about to be a bad decision, another customer walked right in and sat at a table. Keep in mind there are no signs to seat yourself. After seeing this we followed suit and sat ourselves. Then finally a male employee came out of the kitchen with a to go order, and then another female employee came out after him screaming on the phone. She then came to our table and started making fun of the person who had called for their delivery order before taking our drink and dinner orders. The food was decent at best. Super bland with little to no flavor. I had the lemon chicken which had a yellow sauce, but not much of a lemon flavor to it. I also had wonton soup as it is my favorite, and the noodles in the soup were so thick you could barely chew them. Definitely have no reason to return to this place. read more
