    Angel Nails!

Angel listened to everything I said and did a great job. She also does one use nail files, which is the law but not done by any of the salons I have been in Oceanside .. nail fungus is no fun.

The sky's the limit with Angel's creativity and imagination. I was introduced to her by my cousin and sister who both frequent her and now have become a regular myself. I admired how precise she was with any designs made on their nails and how she was able to duplicate every picture they asked her to do on their own. She's definitely a perfectionist. She's about a 40 min. drive from me but totally worth it. Never have I been disappointed with any of the work she has done on my nails. It's come to the point where I just sit down and tell her to just work her magic. I receive compliments on my nails EVERY time.

These are what I refer to as "Angel Nails" and they speak for themselves!!

There's no one else I'd trust with my nails other than Angel!!!! When I first began seeing her a few years ago when she still worked in a salon (before going independent), after I'd seen how she had done her own nails, she would inspire me to do something even more creative, which we now refer to as "Angel nails!" And when I say "we," I mean she does my entire family's nails!!! ‍ Her nail art speaks for itself!! You can bring an idea to Angel and what she comes up with will be so much more fantastic!! We've done everything from glow in the dark and colored acrylic, to chrome, holographic, hand mixed "Angel glitter," sea shells and stamps. Her pricing is also very reasonable compared to the typical nail salons that want to nickel and dime you for everything. Go see Angel and you'll love her just as much as I do!!! She's amazing and her talents unparalleled!!!!

One important tip: try your best to arrive before 2:45 PM--and honestly, even that may be cutting it close. On my most recent visit, I checked in around 2:40 PM and was informed that they wouldn't be able to accommodate me that day. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, though, and they referred me to another nearby location. Unfortunately, when I arrived there, the line was even longer, and they were unable to fit me in as well. Despite that experience, I still prefer getting my labs done at this Walgreens because the process is usually quick and efficient. Check-in is simple, and when timing works out, I'm generally in and out without any hassle. A few helpful tips for first-time visitors..... -Bring your photo ID and insurance card. -If you have a lab requisition from your physician, bring it with you. -If your provider submitted the order electronically, they can typically pull it up in their system. I've never had any issues receiving my lab results, and the staff have always been professional and courteous. My only suggestion would be to consider accommodating patients who have already checked in before the cutoff time, especially those who arrive before the 15-minute mark leading up to closing. It can be disappointing to complete the check-in process only to learn there isn't enough time to be seen. Overall, this is still one of my preferred locations for lab work because of the friendly staff and efficient service. If you're in the area and need labs done, just plan to arrive early and you should have a smooth experience. As always, you can thank me later!

Apparently it didn't register after I submitted my info but that's okay, I still had to wait about 20 more minutes. I was there at least an hour after my appointment. I understand they were short staff but it would have been nice to not have to wait that long. I have to say though they were very nice to me and I was very patient.

Lilia has been cutting hair in her C Street Salon in downtown San Diego for over 35 years &…read morethroughout the intervening years I've justifiably been one of her very loyal patrons because Lilia is just absolutely the very best at what she does! Previously, I used to have a "wow" precision bob haircut by Lilia before I encountered, fought & was cured of cancer @ Scripps La Jolla & now by choice according to others I currently have a "very edgy" heavily shorn haircut that others & I just adore & which I currently receive so many compliments all due to Lilia. Lilia recently moved to the Studio V La Jolla, CA location within the Crossroads La Jolla complex on 9135 Judicial Drive & she cuts both men's & ladies hair. Accordingly, if you're looking for a terrific haircut @ a very fair & reasonable price especially considering Lilia's extraordinary hair-cutting experience & talents you certainly won't go wrong! So all you guys & gals what are you waiting for? Please give Lilia a call & make an appointment with Lilia @ your earliest mutual convenience! Naturally, personally I feel extremely confident you'll both be very glad & satisfied you did! Jutta H. H. Harden San Diego, CA

I had a disappointing experience with Niurka. I came in originally for a root bleach. The stylist…read moretold me my hair was too weak for additional bleach, so I change my decision and showed a clear photo of exactly what I wanted to avoid additional bleach. She never explained that the result would look completely different from the photo. I ended up with something nothing like what I asked for and still paid $150 for it. When I expressed my concerns, she said it was "pretty," but that doesn't change that it wasn't what I requested. She offered for me to come back, but after this experience, the trust isn't there. She also required me to pay through Venmo as a Friends payment even though this was a business service, which leaves customers without any protection. If this happens to you, you can report it directly to Venmo, and you can submit concerns about improper business practices through the IRS's public tip form.(IRS Form 3949-A -- Information Referral) Based on my experience, I wouldn't return.
