This is a very small restaurant. Three square tables that seat four plus one small table the seats two. There are tables outside also and if it's not too hot, you just might be okay. Menu is posted up front and can be seen immediately as you enter. Very simple and straight forward menu. There was only two people working so it will take time for your food to come out.My order was a chicken katsu plate, loco moco bowl (didn't get to try this), and masubis. Chicken katsu is for sure made on the spot. Very crispy and chicken pieces aren't small either. Macaroni salad is pre-made but doesn't make it too bad. I would recommend this plate for anyone wanting to be safe. I originally came here because I needed a place that offered spam musubi closer to home. These looks and taste like they're pre-made, most likely every morning. Nori paper was soft and soggy, spam is sliced in half and put on both sides of the musubi which is different. Not too salty and sauce is lite on the inside. I would not return solely for this. Overall, this is a nice small shop for your quick Hawaiian fix. Took me back to Maui. Small cozy mom and pop place with indoor and outdoor seating. We got the mixed plates with all the fixings. The short ribs and chicken were delicious. Apologies for my VERY late review. I actually visited this restaurant almost two years ago. I heard about it from a family or friend who still lives in Euless and was able to finally drop by one day. I think it was after the Covid-19 lockdown restrictions were beginning to ease. I remember it was empty the day I visited. Just a woman and a younger woman, maybe mother/auntie and daughter but I don't know as I didn't ask. Anyway, I ordered the double-sided spam musubi, the kalua pork plate and the chicken katsu/coconut shrimp mix plate. All was so freaking good. Some of the best kalua pork and chicken katsu. The coconut shrimp was good too but I don't have anything to compare from other similar restaurants as it's not something I have ordered before. The double-sided spam musubi was a surprise as I've only had one-sided but it was good like everything else. First Hawaiian restaurant since our move to Texas, and definitely enjoyed it! It's a small little restaurant that seemed like it's family owned and operated. We went on a Tuesday lunch, a little past noon, and to our surprise it wasn't busy at all. Two groups of people walked in later during our meal and by the conversation they were having with the workers, they all seemed like they were regular customers. It was a very chill vibe! Katsu Plate: katsu made to order. Nice and crispy! Comes with a side of macaroni and salad. The salad dressing was slightly salty for my taste. My wife and I love this quaint neighborhood eatery. We haven't had good Hawaiian food since we moved to Texas. Problem solved!

Too much hole. Not enough wall. After reading all the positive reviews and even having it recommended by a friend, my husband and I gave it a try one evening. Immediately walking in, the ladies behind the counter are wearing flip flops. One of the owners is sitting on an ice chest with her feet up on the phone while the other is cooking. Not sure if that's a health code violation, but it's definitely not a pretty sight! Their shrimp comes pre-battered from Restaurant Depot, so I avoided that because I wanted to try something that they actually make in house. We ordered the short ribs and I ordered the katsu. They didn't have any knives to cut the short rib off the bone, so we resorted to using our hands which ends up being messy. The sauces for the katsu and short ribs were VERY salty. So salty that we were still thirsty the next day. The portions were large, so that's good. I can get down with hole-in-the-walls, but this was too unsanitary for my taste. All in all, it wasn't bad, but it definitely doesn't merit anything more than 3 stars. read more

Where do I and how do I begin?! Had this meal 12 hours ago and woke up this morning still thinking about how good it was. My husband and I came in on a Friday night around 7pm. Only one order ahead of us so the wait for the food was not too long. We ordered the chicken katsu plate (seems like the most reviewed and highly rated item on their menu), the loco moco bowl, ahi poke bowl, and spam musubis. We watched as they prepared the food right in front of us. While we waited for the katsu and the loco moco, we snacked on the spam musubis. The musubis here are continuously being gently heated and kept warm behind the display, which is different from a lot of other places that just keep them in a display case. Also, it is double-sided so you get 2 nice, thick slices of spam sandwiched between rice as opposed to the average one slice of spam at other restaurants. Everything was on point-- from the consistency of the rice, to the perfectly salted (not too salty) spam, to the sweet/tangy sauce drizzled on the rice before it is wrapped up in seaweed. This is a MUST order item! As for the chicken katsu, it was very well fried and perfectly crispy on the outside yet SO tender and juicy on the inside. The slightly sweet dipping sauce compliments it well. The side salad is your average side salad with ranch but the star of the side dishes has got to be the macaroni salad. It was the perfect amount of creaminess (without the heaviness to make you feel guilty) and I like the added sprinkle of black pepper on top! Then to the loco moco. My least favorite part of the loco moco (and of the meal altogether) was how mushy the rice was. Perhaps due to the gravy? At any rate, the dish was still yummy thanks to the tender beef patty, the delicious gravy, and the perfectly cooked over easy egg. Lastly, we tried the ahi tuna poke. One order comes with 1/2lb of ahi tuna chunks mixed with some white onions, sesame seeds, and dressed in sesame oil. Note, it does not come with rice or salad. If you are not a fan of sesame oil, do not order this dish! The fish tasted so fresh and did not leave a bad fishy taste in my mouth. Be aware that it is only available on Thursdays and Fridays. The cost of our meal was approximately $30. This is extremely reasonable and the experience was well worth every penny. The only thing that I regret about my visit here is that my husband and I came alone. It would have been great to bring our friends along so that we can order even more dishes to share and to try. Literally everything on the menu looks delicious but the items above were the ones that we felt we must try first as they were the most raved about. I highly anticipate coming back for the Laulau once the taro leaves get delivered from Hawaii (can you believe that?!). What really topped off this experience is just how FRIENDLY the folks are. We chatted with the owner during our dinner and learned that she is Polynesian and make her own trips to Hawaii for some of the ingredients that they use there such as the taro leaves. I have yet to try Hawaiian/Polynesian cuisine straight out of their source but I have tried Hawaiian food here in the mainland U.S. and I would have to say, Ana's is at the top of the list. The pineapple given it a surprising sweetness! My mom got the coconut shrimp with macaroni salad. That was by far my favorite and I will be getting that next time. I wanted to try Hawaiian food for the first time and went here. I drove 20 minutes and honestly it was worth it. The food was amazing and made fresh in front of me. I happened upon this place on a Saturday when I was going to meet a friend in the area. I was very excited when I saw the sign. I have to plan a trip to Plano if I need a Hawaiian BBQ fix. Imagine my disappointment when I saw it didn't open until 4 pm on Saturdays. So we ran other errands and came back around 4. The restaurant is very small with very little seating. Anna's Is a small store front in a strip mall, but the food is just like being in Hawaii. I ordered the 3 meat combo to go. It came with BBQ chicken, teri beef, and short ribs with a side of macaroni salad and a green salad. The BBQ chicken was by far my favorite and is out of this world! Such great flavor and chicken was tender. Macaroni salad was also very good and creamy. I didn't care for the ribs as much because they had more fat on them then I like.
