The food is amazing and authentic. Basic spanish skills are necessary but the delicious food makes up for it.

We were greeted and seated quickly. We were asked if we wanted drinks or had any questions. Our server was friendly and attentive, as were other staff members walking by. We started out with drinks, 2 apps and then our entrees. Everything was delicious and more than enough. I brought home half of my dinner because I was so stuffed and my son got to enjoy that and he loved it and wants to go back for more. The flavors of everything were fresh and satisfying. Can't wait to go back again.

We had the Ropa vieja and paella which were really good and authentic tasting. The portions were good. Got burgers with fries for the kids which were really good and big. They have other popular menu items recommended by staff and a big drinks menu also. Drinks: Kudos to this spot for having the best IPA in the world (Yonkers Not Upstate Hazy formerly known as Rays IPA). Had one to start off. Also tried the Cuban Capirinha, Coco belle and spicy guava margarita. All excellent drinks.b Staff was very friendly and very attentive. Chill vibes inside and decor. Overall great experience and will be coming back soon. Happy hour specials Tues-Thur 3-6pm. Brunch Sat & Sun til 4pm.

Abdul, our bartender, remembered my name, which made us feel genuinely welcomed and valued. It's those personal touches that create a memorable dining experience. During our meal, we accidentally ordered the wrong paella. We knew it was our mistake and never intended to ask for a replacement. However, the owner overheard our conversation and immediately stepped in to make it right without hesitation. That level of hospitality and customer care is rare and speaks volumes about how they treat their guests. The attention to detail extends to the bar as well. Their Old Fashioned is made the way it should be--with a large ice block that keeps the drink cold without watering it down. As John Taffer often says, "If an Old Fashioned doesn't have a large ice block, they're not paying attention to detail." Basque clearly does. If you're looking for outstanding food, exceptional service, and a restaurant that truly cares about its customers, I highly recommend Basque. Give it a try--you won't be disappointed.

This restaurant is known for authentic Spanish small plates, generous paellas, imported Spanish ingredients, decadent desserts, and wonderful warm bread to start your culinary meal with. Abdul and Roberto make a perfect drink, whether it's a simple Espresso Martini or their house-made sangrias. . All this in a warm and friendly setting. The seafood paellas are portion perfect ie; large, the tapas favorites include garlic shrimp, octopus, croquetas, Iberico ham, lamb chops, and seasonal specials. Because the dining room is relatively small, expect a noisy environment. Weekend waits can be long because of this restaurant's popularity, but it is so worth the wait. If one arrives early, there will be no problem with sitting at the bar or nabbing a table. The staff is friendly, the clientele is neighborly, and you're guaranteed to enjoy your restaurant experience here. For Piermont, it's one of the strongest dining experiences available, particularly if one enjoys sharing plates. If you're going for the first time, I'd order the garlic shrimp, a few tapas to share, and one of the paellas for the table. Thank you Benny for bringing Piermont to our neighborhood. *For those across the river in Westchester, enjoy Basque in Tarrytown.

This is a small, compact place with about 2 dozen tables, but the tables are large enough and arranged well so that you don't feel crowded in. They have a small bar, but not for sitting, just serving. Everything seemed to be clean. The restaurant fills up very quickly; so you definitely need reservations. We both ordered a glass of chardonnay from Chile and lobster bisque, and we split an arugula salad. For the main course my Son ordered veal scallopini and I had the rabbit. For dessert we shared the Molotoff, which is a merengue. I had espresso and my Son a cappucino. At the beginning, they brought some nice fresh bread with a choice of butter or olive oil. The soup was so delicious with tender lobster chunks (best I've had in years). At that point I was thinking of giving a rating of 5, but then my entre was disappointing. The sauce was good, but the rabbit was tough and tasteless. My Son enjoyed his scallopini. The salad, although not exceptional, was good. We also unexpectedly received some vegetables on the side with our entre. The dessert and coffee were also good and blessedly light because the portions here are huge. We were very stuffed by the time we left. I would definitely return if, for no other reason, the soup; but I would order a different entre - maybe a pasta.
