We wanted to use the interactive shopping cart and my child was excited and really looking forward to it. But unfortunately we were told by a rude lady that it was closed. We got there at 8pm and the store closes at 10pm. I asked another worker what are the hours of usage on the carts and he was clueless not knowing why the interactive carts are closed. I asked the cashier about it and he was nice and explained they were short on staff that evening. I accepted his reason but I did not like the way that other lady handled it by being hostile and rude about it causing my child to end up in tears. Well let's see, super excited to have them in the neighborhood, I went when they opened and there were way to many people to really provide feedback. Today I went back to try the fresh food the brisket, balsamic and the cauliflower seemed like good choices. The portions we good quality was ok service was good. The kicker was I ordered a meal found the forks, knife but no napkins. Asked the server about napkins and she said we don't give you napkins! Oh, so there I was trying to eat the ok food with nothing to clean up, the cost, and quality were marginal, no napkins was the deal breaker! Skip the food, groceries are marginal so why shop there? First time at this store. It is absolutely awesome, clean, beautiful and great user friendly departments for take out food. Can return Amazon items easily and get a $10 coupon in return!! Then that joyous euphoria was pierced suddenly by the rudest cashier I have ever seen. For no reason at all, the short, overweight guy with a ponytail wouldn't answer any questions about coupons, price etc (2), no response at all when I thanked him, no social skills for such an amazing store. One of my items I was charged for didn't make it in my bag and home with me. There is no phone number online to call the store. The numbers I was provided after 30 minutes dealing with 1.888.280.4331/1.206.922.0880 are not for the store. No one has a number for the store. I'm now going to get in my car and drive 20 minutes there and 20 minutes home to say "gee you forgot to put this in my bag today!" Have been an Amazon shopper for many years, always receiving value, quality and efficiency. When the Fresh store opened in my neighborhood I decided to visit to take a look see. Helpful people working there, clean, good sized aisles and varied items to shop for. To make a test I purchase 4 "Herloom" navel oranges (very large with good heft for their size) and a package of 4 banana nut muffins. Three of the 4 oranges had no flavor and the 4th one was full of black mold inside above the naval. There may have been a banana in the bakery, but it never made it to the muffins. While I probably won't venture in for a while, I might try again. The cheese selection may hold promise - mold is a requirement. read more

Idk her name but she was like white old lady on 4 I think arnd 2 something; she complimented my bestfriend and it was a natural connection!! Ok so here's the deal is this grocery store huge and clean and organized well? Yes but I am constantly finding that they do not have any of the lunch meats I usually buy, because they have run out of stock and I wouldn't buy my produce here that's for sure but they are the only grocery store that I have been able to find that Offers my favorite cereal ever-Quaker oatmeal squares in honey nut and so I usually come and buy like 10 boxes of my cereal and that's it. I recently saw an Instagram ad showing that an Amazon fresh store opened up in Long Beach and I just had to go check it out! There were only a few employees and all were wearing masks and same goes for the customers. There is only a line if you want to use a "dash" cart, which is the smart cart that scans your food items barcode as you put each item in the cart. However, you can just grab a normal cart and head on in, especially if you intend to buy lots of items because the dash cart is super small. There is an employee there explaining to newbies how the dash cart works before you start shopping. You open the in store QR code from the Amazon app and the cart will scan it so it knows how you would like to pay. Also, if you made a grocery list through the app or Alexa, it will show up on the dash cart. A TIP for you all is to get any alcohol items right before you leave because it will not scan any additional items until an employee checks your ID. Also, it is more accurate to weigh your produce and then get the barcode from the weighing scale rather than input it in the dash cart because it does not always accurately weigh your products, thus, possibly charging you for more than it should. Once you are all done, you go by the checkout area that has a green box and the cart will check out your items for you. Unfortunately, you cannot bring the cart outside to your car and they only provide 2 paper bags so if your items do not all fit in those 2 bags, then you'll have to awkwardly carry them out to your car. Would I come here again? Possibly, if it was on my way home or if I needed a few items that I could not get from the app. I am hoping the dash cart will be larger in the future. read more

I recently discovered Amazon Fresh. The produce is as delicious as it looks. The meats, cheeses, and salads are wonderful. The hot bar with soups and prepared foods is a treat. Their store is also larger and they carry a better variety of products especially in their produce section, deli and pre made items. Its like Whole Foods, but with smart technology. The selection is similar which makes sense since Whole Foods is owned by amazon and the prices are decent. The smart carts are pretty cool, just scan your key code on the amazon app to the cart and get shoppin'. You put stuff in and tallies up your spending, when you're finished you can exit the lane specifically designated for these carts and it charges your amazon account. No socializing whatsoever, introverts rejoice! read more

I won't be back don't get me wrong beautiful store but way over price you paying for the basket that adds and calculate your food . They spent more time on the store not the product meat selection limits seafood selection is over priced and up to par but because of location they will survive. The name will bring people in. Not impressed. Selection of fruit and vegetables were decent but quality and prices not as good as Sprouts. Prices on Milk and OJ were good but meat was NOT. selection in the rest of the store was limited so if you're used to regular brand they may not have it. Bought a few things but won't go back. The new Amazon Fresh store could fit all my shopping needs and I like the store, but the store environment is quite cold, both in temperature and the store itself. I liked the produce section, meat market satisfactory and on the whole the store was well stocked and well priced. I purchased the fried chicken, which was not the greatest. The store support staff, mainly at the check stand, were so indifferent and possessed absolutely no social skills whatsoever. Is this the new etiquette? I left the store slightly insulted. read more

This store has a major problem with customer service. The staff are poorly trained, not friendly and the manager needs to be replaced with someone that has an ounce of leadership and customer service. My wife came for a few items, not our typical place to to buy groceries but we will run in here if we have business at the UPS store in the same shopping complex. First the cashier was, short, rude and obliviously did understand how the amazon store checkout worked. When my wife attempted to pay with the "in store" option from her amazon app the cashier was confused and unwilling to pull up her account. The rude cashier then just suggested she pay with a credit card or debit (like a normal store). The whole point was to use our amazon card on our account like we have several times before. The cashier was uncooperative. Not to mention, my wife had our 7 month old daughter with her, adding more to the entirety of the situation. Afterwards she spoke to a manager about it and the cashier came from out the the back yelling at her and interjecting herself into her conversation with the so called "manager" instead of calming her employee, and taking the complaint like a true manager. She allowed the employee to yell at my wife as the manager did nothing. Do not shop here, the staff is horrible and most likely they will go out of business like every other grocery store that has been in that exact location. Sad that amazon is hurting for employees so bad these days they hire rude A-holes! read more

So tired of discontinued items on hot bar. Was going in for the great carnitas already cooked & shredded then they replaced it with Indian food in a demographical area that doesn't make sense. I've gone in several times in the last 4 months & the Indian food is just sitting there ALL DAY!!! When I was able to get carnitas it was pretty much gone by mid day. Yesterday I went in for Pizza & they had no slice boxes to put it in. They wanted me to use a square box for a giant slice × 4. I had to fight with 2 servers to give me a pizza box. Didn't want to do it unless I bought 6 slices. I didn't need 6 slices thus they finally gave me a box. Bring back the carnitas if it ain't broke then don't try to fix it. read more

Great experience every time. One thing to note. I was at the store yesterday 10/20/21 at around 7 PM. At checkout, my cart was not able to recognize one of the items and it asked me to rescan the item. The item was at the very bottom of the cart. I started taking the items off the bags to reach that item that needs to be re-scanned. While doing so, the cart kept scanning the items as I took them off and put then back and the quantities were messed up. I asked one of the associates his name is Aiden to help me the guy was very rude, was pushing my stuff angrily and did not say a word. Being a mom and trying to be nice to the kid, I was trying to to be nice and I told him sorry that it's not my first time at the store but it's my first time to encounter that and I appreciate his help. Again he didn't say a word and was acting very upset. Then he pushed the cart to me saying "done". My receipt was $76 and I felt it was not right so I told him there are other items with more quantity then it's actually is and I wanted to check again. He pushed my cart and he walked away. I was frustrated but I was trying to figure it myself. Then comes Justin who is a great associate he offered to help and he walked me through each item to make sure the quantity is correct. He was even kind enough to wait with me until a re-bagged everything. He was very nice and understanding and kept repeating that it was OK and it happens. My total after adjusting everything dropped to $59. Then I went on to help my mom checkout at the regular checkout and Aiden walks by to give me a dirty look. Seriously?? What a rude kid?? Seeing the difference between Justin's service and Aidan's service , prompted me to write this review. People like Justin need to be acknowledged. He made it right for me and made me willing to go back to the store. On the other hand, people like Aiden need to be trained on appropriate customer service or get a job in the back where they do not deal with customers. I tried to contact the store manager to share my experience with them but unfortunately I was not able to reach anyone so I decided to leave the comments here and hopefully somebody notice my review. Another thing to note is that I tried to contact amazon over the phone to leave a review for the store. I learned that you cannot really review your Amazon fresh store orders. Beautiful store but questionable produce freshness and quality. Bag of cherries ($12) nearly ready to mold and turn into a soft pulpy mess. Bananas (Dole) fibrous and tasteless. How do you do that with Dole brand bananas? Maybe frozen at some point? Bryers ice cream previously partially melted and refrozen. Anyhow, very disappointed for my first visit. Gonna see how returns are handled. Hope I can see some good practices there. read more

I enjoy shop at Amazon fresh but today was first time return my order item at servis counter. I should have prepared return QR code ready before go to counter but I didn't know about QR code, I quickly open my Amazon app on my phone and start processing to get my return QR code but it took time little, I looked at the servis counter lady and she seems annoyed and not friendly at all even she is not trying to help me, she were just standing and she disappeared. There is a little wait to get in if you want to use the dash carts but the line went by pretty fast. There is enough parking there. Amazon Fresh quality is getting worse. The containers for their cut produce is not airtight. Cut produce in the container arrives wilted and inedible. Cut fruit has the juice spilling out. I was unable to get a refund for the spoiled delivered items because I tossed them without taking a photo read more
