A new homeowners place to go!…read more Moving into a new place can be very overwhelming especially when you need flooring work done. I had seen lots of great reviews about this business so I decided to make my way over and check it out. I had the pleasure of meeting Ron as I walked in to this business hoping to get a quote on carpet and tile work in my new home. I let Ron know that I had no knowledge of carpets or how to pick one. Ron took the time to explain how it all worked and gave some great product recommendations, such as getting a good quality padding. A few short days later, Ron came to measure the area for our carpet. The quote we received was very fair. I had done a bit of research on pricing so I knew what to expect, and was thrilled with the price Ron quoted. I then had the pleasure of working with Claire, who helped set everything else up and make sure our dream home came together with brand new flooring. Both Claire and Ron were excellent communicators who went above and beyond to give the best possible customer service and turnaround time. My wife and I could not be more pleased with a beautiful work that was done in our home.

There was only one option in the store for the color I was looking for, but it was from a reputable company and had a 50-year warranty! Wow! I was impressed! We made an appointment with John (the owner) who came out within a couple of days and was on time. John was very professional and easy to work with. He provided an offer immediately and we told him we wanted to move forward. We provided the deposit and John ordered the LVP. We were leaving on vacation for a week and by the time we got back, it was another week before installation. It was perfect timing as we needed to remove furniture so they could work. We left the larger furniture in each room and the installers move them around as they installed the floor. On installation day, the crew showed up on time and ready to work! They were professional and hard working! They were also courteous and respectful. They did the floating floor over the existing tile and added wood where there was carpet. They explained how the glue would need to dry before we could walk on it, which was very helpful. After the 3rd day, the floors were done and they started on the baseboard and door casings. Jason worked hard to complete all the work, clean up after the install, and the entire project was done in one week. I am so impressed with this crew and Precison's communication with us. I would highly recommend using them and will definitely work with them in the future, if the need arises. Thank you John, Nash, Jason, Ryan, and crew for all your hard work! I am very grateful for all of you!

Subject: Exceptional Flooring Installation Experience with Precision Flooring…read more I am writing to share our outstanding experience with Precision Flooring, owned by John. Our flooring installation, managed by contractors Edgar and Adrian, was exemplary and one of the best interactions we've had with a contractor and flooring company. We suffered water damage in our master bedroom and decided to replace the flooring in all our bedrooms, including the master bathroom and closet. Unfortunately, the original flooring, installed by the home builders, was discontinued, making it challenging to find a match. Initially, we approached Home Depot, which turned out to be stressful and costly. They required full upfront payment for the flooring and installation, plus hidden fees that significantly increased the estimate. Our experience transformed when we found Precision Flooring. John and his team, including Nash, provided a seamless and pleasant process. At their store, we explored hundreds of samples, taking several home to find the best match. Unlike Home Depot, Precision Flooring required only a 50% deposit, as per California laws. John, the owner, was transparent and straightforward, while Nash made the selection process enjoyable. They were patient, never making us feel rushed despite the time it took to make a decision. John promptly measured our house the day after our store visit, and the flooring installation wait time was only a few weeks, depending on stock availability. Working with Edgar and Adrian was remarkable. They exemplified professionalism and skill, setting high standards for the industry. Their dedication and craftsmanship were evident throughout the project. We are grateful for the excellent customer service, responsiveness, and high-quality work provided by Precision Flooring and its contractors. To future customers, we recommend taking care of your installers. During our project, Edgar and Adrian worked diligently, even on the hottest days. Offering them a shady area, air conditioning, cold drinks, and a tip goes a long way in showing appreciation for their hard work. Precision Flooring also provides military, law enforcement and first responder discounts. They will also price match if you bring in an estimate from another contractor.

Empire even called the day before to confirm, only to call again on the day of installation and say the carpet was on backorder. This happened three separate times. After the third time, my parents had enough, so I suggested they call Flatout Flooring. (I had also recommended them to my grandparents a few years ago.) From start to finish, Flatout Flooring was incredibly easy to work with. My parents ended up getting a beautiful high-end carpet with quality padding, and everything was installed exactly as promised on the scheduled date. The installers were professional and pleasant, and the finished product looks phenomenal. The quality is far better than what they were originally planning to get. If you're in the market for new flooring, I definitely recommend giving Flatout Flooring a call. They'll save you a lot of stress, frustration, and headaches.

He's out here operating with a suspended license, stiffing the demo crew who tore out our flooring, and leaving us with a destroyed home and a half‑finished job. His installer barely got 10% done before the entire crew disappeared without a single word. I've tried calling. I've tried emailing. I even showed up at the local office -- all I got were pathetic excuses and zero accountability. The demo company and I have already filed complaints with the contractors board and the financing company because this man thinks he can just take people's money and run. How does a grown man blatantly steal, lie through his teeth, and operate with zero integrity? Every response he posts to negative reviews is defensive, rude, and dripping with shady behavior. He cannot be trusted. Nothing he says is real. And I have the documentation to back every bit of this up. I wish I had dug deeper before hiring him. If I can stop even one person from getting screwed the way we did, then at least this disaster serves a purpose.

Buyer Beware - My Home Was Left Torn Apart - Their contractor license has been revoked!…read more I never imagined I would be writing a review like this, but I feel obligated to warn other homeowners. I hired Flooring Direct Temecula to replace the flooring throughout my home. On June 22, 2026, I signed a contract for laminate flooring and paid the required deposit to pay for materials. The installation began but stopped abruptly after only part of the flooring was installed because there were no remaining materials. What followed was one of the worst customer service nightmares I have ever had. For more than two weeks, the owner, Bill Norris, completely disappeared. My repeated phone calls and text messages went unanswered. I received absolutely no communication explaining why my home had been left in pieces. During that same time: * The installer told me he had not been paid. * The delivery driver told me he could not reach Bill. * A salesperson ( His son Billy) at Flooring Direct Temecula also told me he could not get Bill to answer his calls. Think about that for a moment. Not only could the customer not reach the owner, but his own employees and subcontractors couldn't reach him either. Because no one would communicate with me, I had to investigate the situation myself. I contacted the flooring manufacturer directly and discovered that only part of my flooring order had ever been purchased. The remaining flooring required to finish my home was sitting at the manufacturer because it had never been paid for. As the homeowner, I was told I could not obtain my own flooring because only the contractor could authorize and pay for its release. Meanwhile, my home was left with exposed subfloors, furniture piled everywhere, and rooms that were unusable. No phone call. No explanation. No plan. No concern for the customer. I ultimately had to open a dispute with Chase Visa to protect my money. I also filed felony charges!!!!!!!!!!! Only after I escalated the situation and informed Bill that I was involving the police to document what had happened and finally pressed formal criminal charges did he finally contact me. This entire situation could have been handled differently with honest communication. Instead, I was left chasing answers from installers, delivery drivers, and manufacturers because the person responsible for my project simply disappeared. This wasn't simply a delayed job. This was a complete breakdown in communication and professionalism that left my family living in an unfinished construction zone while we had no idea whether our project would ever be completed. I strongly encourage anyone considering Flooring Direct Temecula to do extensive research, verify everything independently, and understand exactly who is responsible for your project before paying a deposit. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company.
