We recently had the entire first floor of our home replaced with LVP from Murrieta Flooring. From start to finish Sherrill was amazing. Our floors were installed quickly and look beautiful. They did not have the product we wanted but were able to special order it. The price was extremely competitive vs o the local flooring companies. There was a slight delay but Sherry kept us informed the entire time. Highly recommend and can't wait to do our stairs and 2nd floor with Murrieta Flooring. read more

Sherie worked so closely with me when I was going back-and-forth between carpeting and vinyl plank flooring. And she gave me such a good price, and was so flexible. But, as it turned out, I decided to sell my Temecula house, and needed carpeting put in that very same week for open house. I had to go with another company as they were not able to install it that week. That having been said, I have the upmost confidence in Sherie and Murrieta Flooring. Such nice people, amazing follow-through, great reviews, sorry I wasn't able to use you this time. Thank you guys for everything. Joe read more

Great job!! Love our new floors....we've been enjoying them for 3 months now. Everyone involved was absolutely wonderful, professional, and knew what they were doing. Good prices, no mess left behind. Highly recommend. Update!! Just had a backsplash installed this week. Another success. Really happy with the work Ortiz and Alfonso did, and they were very organized and cleaned up afterwards. read more

I was looking to buy hardwood flooring from this company until I noticed they have an F rating with the Better Business Bureau and according to the BBB, have not renewed their contractors license since 2010. I did go on the contractors licensing website and it seems to be true. To the owner of the company, if you have renewed your contractors license under a different license number and are current with the contractors board let me know and I will change my rating or remove it. read more

We had a little emergency and Murrieta flooring came to the rescue! We had to have a sub floor installed ASAP, i called Murrieta Flooring and they came to my house in about 1 hour, gave me a quote 30 minutes later, and came to INSTALL 2 hours after that! FINISHED ALL IN ONE DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! great work, great people! thank you!!!!!!!! read more

I contacted Sherry prior to moving into our home and she worked with my husband and me on floor selection and scheduling. The installation went smoothly and the floor are beautiful. When we decided to remodel one room, the flooring needed to be repaired where we removed wall-to-wall shelving. I again contacted Sherry who had Ryan, her installer, quote a price, which was very fair. Repair was done quickly and professionally. Highly recommend this business!! read more

Wonderful company. For my new floors, Sherrie helped get everything in order. Professional and kind. Her craftsmen are artists, dedicated and passionate, with obviously, a strong work ethic. They were busy from beginning to end--for a 2.5 day job. My floors are just lovely. Thanks again Sherrie, Javier, and Jeremy. HIGHLY recommend--look no further. read more

Fair and upfront pricing. Quick turnaround. Quality work. We are happy with the services provided and the communication throughout.

Miss Sheri is very kind and very adhering to the customers needs and wants. She also has a very good eye when it comes to matching up colors and different ideas, I would highly recommend anybody to use this business. me and my wife are both retired from the army, and Miss Sheri recognized us by giving us a very nice discount. Thank you Murrieta flooring. read more

They did the worst carpet job for our company that we could never imagine, we paid so much money, but the carpet started buckling everywhere, obviously they didn't put enough glue or didn't stretch and press them enough initially, the connecting borders look awfully obvious, we called them to fix the issues, they did come but didn't fix the problems at all, no choice but have to put a bad review here. read more

So friendly and responsive. Helped make the process easy. Sherie was just wonderful to work with and the crew did a great job! Thank you!!!

This locally owned company did an outstanding job on our carpet and luxury vinyl plank flooring. I highly recommend Murrieta Flooring.

Sherie is the sweetest woman! I had a run in with Lowes and flooring. After taking my money and extending the delivery date to 4 weeks instead of 3, they informed me that the flooring I wanted was discontinued. I wandered into Murrieta floor covering on a Saturday, taking a chance that they might have something similar to what I was looking for. Not only did they have the EXACT flooring but they had so many other options available! Sherie was beyond helpful and so kind. I immediately knew that I wouldn't be shopping around. She was very patient and understanding so we placed our order! It will even be here this weekend! Unlike lowes and their four weeks! Ha ha! Thanks Sherie!!!! We will be using you again for sure! P.S. LOVE your dogs! read more

Sherie was very friendly and helped us pick the the perfect carpet for our home, they installed it in a few days and it was flawless ! Very reasonable prices, plus I like to support local businesses. I highly recommend this place. read more

Sherry in the office is very professional and kind, and the installer was courteous and efficient. They had the lowest price for our stairs and bedrooms- and the quality and color of the carpet surpassed my expectations. Great local small business!!! read more

I was helped by the nicest lady at Murrieta Flooring. As an animal lover, I thoroughly enjoyed being greeted at the door by a lovable and gentle black lab dog, named Harry. I was looking for a remnant to repair my cat tree and I was treated as importantly as if I were looking for carpets for my whole home. To top it off, there was no charge for the remnant. If I ever do need flooring for my home this will be my first stop. read more

We had to replace carpet in our rental home because previous tenant completely ruined it! I called and spoke to Cheryl on Wednesday and explained the situation that we wanted something cheap because we're just renting out again. Even though we didn't buy carpet through them they did install the carpet for us the next day and was reasonably priced. The guys showed up in the time frame that was given and got it all done in less then an hour. Would definitely use again in the future! read more

Amazing experience. I am in the middle of a renovation and needed carpet. I went to several other places before being recommended by a family member who has used murrieta flooring twice before. I went to check out the store and loved a carpet they had. They came the following day to install and did a great job. I also got tile from them and love it. I ended up paying 1/3 of what other carpet stores had quoted me. Sherie was great! read more

Hoping to patronize a local family business I was glad to see the positive reviews and stopped in. As soon as I opened the door the stench of cigarette smoke was overwhelming. I had to leave within one minute and never could have borrowed a sample or stayed inside long enough to shop for flooring. It was really shocking for this kind of business. read more

If I could give no stars I would. Murrieta Floor Covering was recommended to us by someone who said they worked with them every once in a while. The price was lower then other companies and we decided we wanted to give our money to a local business. We have totally regretted that decision from the first day they showed up to work at our house. This has been the worst experience EVER!!! Not only would we NEVER recommend this company to anyone but we would advise everyone to stay clear and look for someone else to do your carpet. Day one, bedrooms and hallways were supposed to be done. When I came home that night, not one room was finished!!! I needed these rooms to be complete so my husband could help me move furniture before he left for a business trip. On top of nothing being finished... they DESTROYED my BRAND NEW baseboards. They said our concrete was too hard to put the nails in the tack strip?!?!?! What? Later they said it wasn't too hard but it was brittle. We asked, "so what do you do when this happens?" They tried hot glue... without cleaning the floor... and the tack strips kept coming up. Then they tried another glue... on a dirty floor... which kept coming up. I called in tears, asking them what was going on, why the carpet wasn't done and why were the brand new baseboards destroyed. Cheri kept apologizing saying she was so sorry and they would fix it that it would be perfect not to worry. It is not perfect! Day two, they got the carpet in but the tack strips kept pulling up and the carpet pulling away from the wall. Seams are visible, carpet is pulling up, in some areas carpet was cut too short and they cut and seamed it to make it longer. They told us they don't like to put seams in high traffic areas then pieced together the hallway with three different seams. The owner kept telling us, "he has been doing this for 35 years" but never seemed to have a clue what he was doing. They didn't clean the floor, they asked to borrow tools from us and at the end of the day left us extremely disappointed. They came back 4-5 times to fix areas that kept coming up. They slapped spackle on the baseboards and tried sanding it while it was wet. We told them to leave it and we would fix them so we knew they were done right. Angel came on the last day and didn't have one problem with the tack strips or the carpet. He fixed other areas and was shocked how many places were not secured to the floor. In the end they only took$50 off the price of the carpet for the baseboards that had been destroyed and all the trouble we went through. Please save yourself the trouble, time and money and stay clear of this company. read more

My wife and I just helped our daughter and her family purchase their first home. A very nice condo in Murrieta. Problem was, this unit used to be a rental and the carpet and other things needed replacing. For new carpeting, we went to Murrieta Flooring on Washington Blvd in Old Town Murrieta. Owned by Sherie Plevney and her Husband Al, we were impressed with the speed, professionalism, product quality, and price to do the kid's condo. We were short on time so Sherie pulled strings and got the carpet from the mill chop chop. The installation team comprised of her brother Mike and cohort installed the whole job in 4 hours with a tidy clean up. I would definitely recommend this family operation to anyone. read more

This is an awesome business. The woman who answers the phone (among other tasks) is very sweet and informative. She really knows her stuff when it comes to flooring! This business is very accommodating and wants to give you the right solution for the right price. They truly care for their customers. I will definitely be recommending! read more

Murrieta Flooring did a wonderful job for us! we had our family room tiled all of our carpet and base boards replaced . They were very competitive $$ with the big name stores. Sherie was very friendly and helpful in working with my schedule and coordinating both the tile and carpet installers. The installers showed up at the precise time they were scheduled and finished within the time allotted (BIG PLUS) with me. Never think you will get a bargain going with the big chains, with all the add-ins and BS never worth it. ALWAYS give your locals a try. I highly recommend MURRIETA FLOORING. read more

When our home was damaged by the Santa Rosa Plateau fire in September, 2018, we hired Murrieta Flooring to replace our flooring. We chose to replace everything with luxury vinyl planks. Sherri was fabulous to work with. She came to our home and gave us great suggestions. She was very patient with our indecision about the color we wanted. She brought endless samples for us to chose from. She is a wonderful, genuine, caring person to work with. I feel like at the end of this, she became a friend to our entire family. Her installers were very professional. They worked well with the other contractors working on our home at the same time. She called after the job was completed to make sure we were satisfied. I have no doubt that Murrieta Flooring will stand behind their product. Honestly, I have never worked with someone who cares about her work and her customers so much. I highly recommend Murrieta Flooring. read more

I needed carpet fast, was listing the home and needed to get in it quick. They called the carpet company and I named off colors until we found one that was in stock and a good color match. This was on a Friday afternoon, with a scheduled installation for Tuesday morning. Sherrie called me Monday morning, to let me know her guys were driving up to Fontana to pick up the carpet, instead of waiting for the delivery truck. They would be at my house between 11-12 on Monday for an earlier than scheduled installation. Sherrie is easy to work with and very friendly. They guys got her before noon and had the tack strip, pad and carpet installed in 4 hours. read more

My husband & I prefer to support family owned/operated businesses in our community. The best decision we ever made was to visit Murrieta Flooring. We learned a lot about carpeting from Sheri & Al (sorry Mike didn't have the pleasure of meeting you), they actually listened to us & understood what we expected/needed to replace our existing carpet/padding & met our budget. That was just the first phase of our experience with Murrieta Flooring, second phase included their absolutely fabulous installers. Not only were they polite & respectful of my husband & myself, they moved all of our furniture with such care & even replaced 3 large intricate cut corner baseboards that my puppy found to her liking (required miter saw cuts). Absolutely no damage or clean up to our personal property. If you're looking for any type of flooring or baseboards, Murrieta Flooring would be my first & only inquiry. Respectful, Geno & Claudia Davis read more
