Rebecca and Tommy were very helpful and responded to our question and concerns quickly. We knew going into this process that our second floor had an uneven subfloor and would require extra attention to make it LVP ready. Unfortunately you never know what needs to be done until the old floor is removed. The installation team lead by Ezekiel did a great job. I was nervous that they wouldn't finish the job by the completion date since demo took longer than expected and they had to add an additional layer of plywood and grind it down to level it. We were skeptical about the whole extra layer process but Ezekiel knew what he was doing and it turned out great. The extra work was supposed to add 3 days work but they got it done in 1. This place is a mom and pop shop. Owners pick up the phone and talk with you. Although I regret not using them, I did get advice from them. I used "freedom flooring" only because a neighbor highly suggested them. Direct carpet was me and my wife's number one choice and now our biggest mistake not using them. We are having incredibly bad issues with freedom flooring and direct carpet just gave us advice. They didn't need to, but they did and that is more helpful than anything at this point of our nightmare installs. Just by their customer service, I highly highly suggest going to them. Don't think twice, direct carpet has competitive pricing and customer service is the best. Ww had visited this location a few times prior to deciding to buy. We had finally decided on a particular flooring and went to a few places to check out the pricing of each as the flooring was from the same manufacturer. Walking in we were greeted by Angie. She was super knowledgeable about her product and she was very professional as well. Super cheerful and willing to help us. She quoted us on the flooring that we wanted and she was $.60 Lowe per square foot compared to her competitor down the street. There wasn't any negotiations, just purely a fair price. We had Direct Carpet install carpet about a year ago. At the time we were so happy with the whole process from purchase to installation. We just had our carpets cleaned for the first time. We bought Pet Perfect carpet as our dog has pee accidents sometimes. The carpet cleaners said the smell may come up after cleaning. Well he told me after that our carpet had no smells come up. I have used this company several times and was always very happy with the team and how the projects turned out. Not sure what changed but I will never use or recommend them again. Very unprofessional people working for this company and clearly don't know what they are doing. Gave me several options and then someone else in the company said they cannot do what they said. Disappointing considering they were the only company I used for many years. When the contractor came out, he was rude and constantly made negative comments. Not sure if he was just having a bad day but he became so disrespectful, we asked him to leave. We had a great experience with Direct Carpet and I wonder how I didn't use them before. Asha helped me in the showroom and she really understood what I was looking for and was able to recommend the best carpet and color for what we were trying to achieve. I really appreciated that she was able to come out quickly for measurements and didn't want me to pay for it up front. She brought some samples and provided me with the quote quickly. The pricing was very good and the carpet installation looked very good. The paint around the stairs that were installed were scratched up and it definitely needed some touch-ups afterwards but I won't deduct any stars for it since the project overall was executed very well. I cannot say enough about this company and Tommy. We have had two separate flooring projects done by them in the past. Both experiences were awesome! Over time, one of our T Moldings started to wear from multiple times the dogs "took" to it. The original purchase was back in 2016 and we were worried that we would not be able find a match. Tommy originally thought that we could find something close, but said "I'll do my best to find the right match". He warned me that it may take awhile, and it did, but we were ok with it. I just picked up the T-Molding and it is a perfect match! Replacing your carpet / flooring is a huge undertaking. Rebecca made the whole process almost a pleasure.. I say almost because packing up all your stuff and then actually replacing your flooring is never fun.. but WOW is it worth it. From the picking out the carpet step (Style: Jubilant, color Lively), which Rebecca made just about as easy as possible - to the actual install, the whole transaction was flawless. Pricing was fantastic. The installers were the hardest working guys I have come across in quite some time. They moved everything, ripped up the old carpet, cleaned up.. installed the new carpet and then put everything back and cleaned up and hauled away that old crappy carpet - in one day.. the whole upstairs.. 4 bedrooms, a hallway and stairs. It was incredible. I had to force them to take a break and eat something. Totally recommend this company for your flooring needs. So this won't be a funny review as I'm crazy busy today, but as I was looking up something on here I remembered I forgot to review these guys from the first time we used them. I was very happy with them for our first downstairs project so I definitely gave them a shot to bid on our bigger upstairs project. Not only did they come in cheaper, they are working with us to relieve the stress of essentially packing up and moving our entire upstairs. I've been dreading that in the months since we did our downstairs. Quick turn around from on site visit to quote receipt and flexible scheduling that didn't require waiting forever for the install.
