We recently had new carpet installed in all four bedrooms of our home. After visiting several local carpet stores, we chose Tri-City Carpet, and we're so glad we did. We moved into a home with LVP stairs that were super slippery for our dogs. We went to Tri-City Carpet and Greg was really helpful, explaining different carpet options and durability. While at their showroom, we decided to change out a few bedrooms with Carpet as well. Greg came out to measure and Donnie did the installation a couple weeks later. There were some problems with the stair install, but they handled everything professionally and made sure we were happy with the result. I spoke to Jennifer and was disappointed by her lack of knowledge. I was told by a general contractor that you can install engineered hardwood flooring on top of tile. Jennifer told me that was not true and they would not give a warranty for it installed that way. She also tried to discourage me from having engineered hardwood installed on my stairs. Apparently, she must think I don't have the money for it as she said it was "very expensive" and she was sorry to break it to me. Not a smart thing to say to a potential customer who is serious about putting 1900 sq feet of hardwood in her house. They must not want very much business at Tri-City Carpet otherwise they would not have Jennifer answer the phone to customers. She lacks knowledge about flooring, and is insulting and rude. read more

Our regular carpet supply place of 24 years went out of business, and we found Tri-City on Yelp. We were not disappointed. We purchased four, custom cut, carpet rugs with angles and radii, that Tri-City Carpet made, just based on a hand drawing and some measurements. The lead time was one week and the rugs were done on time. The quality of work is flawless. The measurements were perfect and the carpet pattern aligns perfectly with the edges of the rugs. (In case you're wondering about the straight cut corner of the rug in the pictures, it is cut that way to keep people from tripping, or having to step on, or over the edge of the carpet as they walk through a high traffic path.) I should mention that prior to placing the order, it was obvious that they knew absolutely everything about carpet. Seriously, the most carpet knowledgable business anywhere. We did not hesitate to place the order. Their pricing was up front, and hey provided lots of options to meet the product application, and our budget. There were no surprises throughout the entire process. It's only been three months, but there is zero sign of wear on any of the rugs. I expect they will look new for years to come. We were apprehensive about selecting a carpet company. Tri-City Carpet received excellent reviews on NextDoor so we trusted our neighbors, and are so happy we did! Greg helped me in the showroom and worked with me to find what I was looking for. He let me bring a sample board home so I could check the color. Then he came out to measure and was quick and professional. He knows what he's doing. The install team of Jeff and crew (4of them) got here on time and worked so quietly we hardly knew they were here. Sure we heard some tapping and talking, but I mean REALLY quiet with their voices. When have you had 4 workers in the house who aren't talking on phones, joking and laughing? These guys were professionals, WORKING and respecting the customers environment. Greg measured again and had me make sure the roll of carpet they brought was the correct one before cutting it. They were careful not to scratch our newly painted walls.
