The guys were on time, very through, very helpful in moving some of the furniture and just really nice!

Kany was terrific! Carpet was ordered, delivered on time and installed by a crew of experts. My entire 2nd story was completed by lunch and I didn't have to lift a finger. I will go back every year that I need carpet he and his organization won't let you down. read more

Many years ago, Action Carpet & Floor Decor saved us when we had a slab leak and needed to replace part of our carpet. Now, after a lifetime of having wall-to-wall carpet throughout our homes, we decided to switch to a wood product flooring. The idea was a bit overwhelming, as we knew nothing about these types of floors. Kany to the rescue! He patiently walked us through the various options, price ranges, and pros and cons. When we settled on a product but were struggling to choose a color, he let us borrow a sample to see how it looked in our home. His knowledge and expertise were incredibly helpful, and he turned a potentially stressful experience into an adventure. The product arrived quickly, and the installers were wonderful. They arrived as scheduled, were careful with our furniture, and cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each day. They were extremely professional, clearly knowledgeable, and very efficient. They even finished the job slightly ahead of schedule. When we noticed a slight imperfection where the boards met the existing kitchen tiles, Kany quickly arranged to have the installers return. Within a few days, they had remedied the situation. Our new floors look more beautiful than we ever could have imagined. My only complaint is that we didn't do this sooner! Thanks to Action Floors and Home Decor for your great product and service! read more

We researched alot of flooring companies before deciding to go with Action. Steve was so very patient and answered all of the questions I had. We switched gears so many times and Steve never made me feel like I was bothering him. Their pricing was the best amongst the companies were got estimates from. The flooring arrived quickly and pick up was easy. I feel like it is hard to find honest people in this business but I do trust Action and highly recommend them to anyone needing flooring. read more

I had a great repeat experience with Action Carpet, they took out my old carpet and put in new vinyl wood plank flooring for me. The pricing & ordering process was very easy & straightforward, scheduling was quick, and job was done super fast, cleanly, & professionally. It's easy to tell they've been doing this a long time and with a lot of integrity. Thank you! read more

This privately owned business has a vast variety of sample products: carpet, hardwood, engineered wood floors, laminate, plank, tile, baseboards. They offer tile for other projects, too. They also offer binding of carpet so you can create custom area rugs. Shawn was extremely informative about products. We wanted a new floor and new baseboards throughout, and updated fireplace surrounds. The laminate floor, baseboard, and retile of fireplaces quote was competitive. The demo, prep and work was concluded in 4 days. The workers were communicative, thorough, and artists, and kept the work environment tidy. We are extremely pleased with the work and results. I plan to seek more services from this store at a future date! read more

We recently had the flooring replaced in most of our home. Kany and Shawn were very helpful and patient as we decided what we wanted. They made suggestions without pushing anything on us and lent us numerous samples to take home. The installers were truly wonderful to work with and they did a beautiful job. We are very happy with our new floors and highly recommend Action Carpet & Floor Decor! read more

Fantastic Experience with Action Carpet! We had our entire home recarpeted and ordered a custom area rug for the dining room -- all with the help and guidance of the owner, Kany. He made the process easy and stress-free from start to finish. The three-person install team was outstanding! They handled all the furniture -- including oversized pieces and heavy gym equipment -- and returned everything to its place, even replacing the bedskirt on our king bed, which was such a thoughtful touch. Kany followed up right after installation to make sure we were happy. Excellent experience from purchase through install -- we'd highly recommend Action Carpet and will gladly use them again! read more

This is a usual review. I have been wanting to replace our bedroom carpeting. Action Carpet and Floor Design was very responsive to my Yelp query. I went into their showroom the next morning and was greeted by Steve, who spent a very productive and informative time with me. I enjoyed the personalized, yet professional attention. Together we found three carpet " candidates." Unfortunately for this business, we decided to put in wood to match our other flooring instead. They were unable to match this particular ( and older) wood product. So here I am, so impressed with the local family who owns and runs this business , with their showroom, and most of all their sales staff, that I can confidently recommend them even though I did not purchase a product from them! Next time, for sure! read more

We had our entire home carpeted and LVPed with Action Carpet a few years ago. They were amazing to work with and their installers did a beautiful job. A while back part of our LVP flooring failed. This was no fault of Action Carpet and was a problem of the manufacturer. The owner of Action Carpet was so wonderful in dealing with our issue. He liaison with manufacturer and was able to provide a us with a upgraded flooring that is just beautiful! This made a lot of extra work for him on his end of things but he made it seamless for us and the installers once again did a beautiful job on the install. We absolutely recommend them to all of our friends and family and plan on using them again when we have any future flooring needs. read more

Action Carpet is simply the best place you could ever choose to work with for any type of flooring. We have used them for numerous projects over the last 20 years and wouldn't think of shopping anywhere else. It starts with Kany, the owner. He knows his product and will answer any questions you have and educate you on the best thing for your needs. No pressure, just the best customer service ever. Such a pleasure to do business with these people. They are great at communicating and keep you informed of delivery dates and installation dates for your flooring. Their installers are top notch professionals who are highly skilled at their craft. They are great at moving furniture and are so respectful of your space. It feels like family coming to visit since we have had the same installers every time we change our flooring:-) In short, they check all of the boxes. Great selection, fair pricing, friendly people who are all about customer service. Highly recommend! Thanks, Kany. read more

We needed new flooring for our kids house. We were on a tight budget and Steve helped direct us to the selections that would work. We were excited to get exactly what we wanted in our budget. Steve and Sean were extremely helpful with our requests and questions. They went out of their way to help us with the logistics. From selection to scheduling to install the communication was excellent. The installation crew was top notch. They did a beautiful job on the LVP and carpet. The selection and install of the baseboards was really well done. My husband and I are from the construction and homebuilding industry and we couldnt have been happier with the entire process! I went inside and was helped by a gentleman. He was very informative and helped me find a nice laminate. I was able to take a couple samples home to confirm color. The installer did a really amazing job. I had a very bad install of lvp before this and was nervous but his cuts are great. All around the doors, fireplace, cabinets, the cut is perfect. The floor also doesn't scratch. I would 100% use them again. read more

The Action Carpet Team was exceptional! We had done some shopping around and decided on Action because of our experience on the first visit. Steve did a great job explaining & providing carpet choices. Shawn provided great support & customer service on our follow calls & questions & Kany was the cherry on top explaining the details of old carpet removal & installation. The pricing was very competitive as well. The install team showed up on time & did an amazing job! Excellent service and professional staff. Two years later, my carpet still looks fantastic! I'll call on this business again.

The best customer service! The quality of their work is phenomenal. Our floors look amazing. They are so patient with us, we had a million questions and came by multiple times before moving forward with an estimate/quote. Never once did we feel pressured or pushed into anything. They are so passionate about their work. Family owned and managed very well. I will definitely be a repeat customer! Be sure to ask about your baseboards to be included in your estimate. We went with large tiles and wood for the bedrooms. We forgot but they provided that service as well. We are so happy we chose Action Carpet over the other 6 companies we researched. Use this company only if you want to pay for a quote (refundable only if you decide to contract with them) and is you want to be treated as if your business doesn't matter to them. There are too many other flooring services to settle for sub-par customer service. read more

We've used Action Carpet and Floor Décor for several flooring jobs in our home and have always been pleased with the quality, price and customer service they provide. Most recently, we decided to redo our stairs and office with LVP, and also had water damage in our closet and kitchen LVP that needed repaired. We worked with Chris and Kany in the office, and Agustin did the installation for all the jobs. Agustin is a master of his craft, and we could not be more pleased with the service and installation. Another plus is that Action Carpet also offers 12-month interest free financing for jobs that qualify. We highly recommend Action Carpet & Floor Décor for their products, expertise and service, and Agustin for installation! read more

We recently remodeled and replaced all of our 20-year old carpet. When we began getting quotes for carpet and installation we couldn't believe how expensive it was! My husband called Action randomly, getting another quote. They were thousands less than the other quotes we got, and they had impeccable customer service throughout the entire process. Kenny called us multiple times to keep us updated and informed on delivery and installation dates, and the entire project was completed in about a day and a half! Even with a patterned carpet that other companies complained would be very difficult to install. The installers were so hardworking and they really made the whole process so painless. From the great reviews on here for this business, we decided to go with them to replace our master bedroom carpeting. At the store in Encinitas, Chris gave us the attention we needed to make a sound decision. They kept us abreast of any status changes and were flexible to reschedule as we weren't quite ready for the install. Their installer (Nacho) showed up and worked as quickly to remove and install. Within 4 hours, he moved the big stuff back as well. Their pricing was quite reasonable! We highly recommend them to you all!! read more

The team responded very quickly, Del delivered high-quality carpet at a reasonable price and hit our timeline. Great job!

Wanted to replace our old carpeted bedroom floors with wood laminate. After getting a couple of quotes, we decided on Action. While not the cheapest, nor the most expensive, but all services were included. They took out the old carpeting, moved all of the bedroom furniture around, and completed all 3 bedrooms in a day. This included working around a queen sized Sleep Number bed. While we had a few things to clean up afterward, it was an overall no hassle experience. The flooring looks great and seems to be taking the returned furniture abuse without a problem. Very strongly recommend. read more

We had our floors done by Kany and his team back in June. Our floors turned out better than we thought they would. They installed LVP throughout the house and this also included the baseboards. Our original choice of LVP ended up being backordered but the team at action carpet gave us some great alternatives and we are happy with the choice. Our floors look great! W Kany is very great to deal with and is a business owner who cares about his customers. We were fortunate enough to deal with him on our install. Even though there were some hiccups along the way Kany went above and beyond to deal with the issues. I wouldnt hesitate to use action flooring for any work. they do good work. They were really prompt and came out for an estimate the next day. We really liked working with Steve. The carpet looks great and payment was easy. Pricing was on par and no surprises. Funnily enough both we and my parents decided independently to use them. read more

Best customer service ever! We had plank floors installed in 2019 and love them. I called last month, 3 years later, because a couple pieces had shifted over time and I noticed a small gap between two planks. Kenny, the owner, assured me it was just cosmetic and no problem, but he arranged for his guys to come out anyways. They were able to fix it very quickly and did not even charge for the house call. Amazed to find a company that stands by their products and services like that. We are lifetime customers now. read more

I got four different estimates on what was a big job for our house. One quote estimated a full week of labor and was $8,000 more than what action quoted me. I really cannot say enough about this AWESOME BUSINESS! I just completed work in our main home and was not super stoked on the customer service I received from another North County flooring biz, so I was calling around to find a specific product and possibly hire another company to install our additional apartment. After speaking on the phone to Action, they told me they didn't have the product I was looking for, but to come in and check out what they did have. I was MAYBE going to do that... Not 2 hours late, I received a call from Action and they said they'd found my product and had pulled a few more that were similar. They directed me to ask for a specific sale associate who was familiar with what I was looking for. WOW!!! Now, THAT's how you do customer service! I went in. They had all of my samples, in my price range, ready for me to check out. They had really listened. I was in and out in 25 minutes with a date for them to measure our place. After that, everything moved quickly, and I was kept in the know throughout the process. I cannot recommend this company highly enough and we are going to hire them to do another apartment. Hire them! read more

I was in the hospital for an extended period. We wanted to have the whole house carpeted with vinyl in the kitchen and laundry room. My daughter worked with Kani and the wonderful team at action carpet. She brought big samples of lovely carpets. My husband and I chose our selection and the crew measured the area and gave the quote. They are very customer friendly and did a beautiful job with the carpet and the Vinyl. I'm very happy with the finished product. Not only did they finish the flooring, but as a huge curtesy, they trimmed off the doors to fit. I recommend them without reservation. read more

I have purchased Carpet twice from Action Carpet and both times very satisfied with the purchase and installation. However the last time which was about 18 months ago and we have had them come on last July to re-stretched two rooms. No Problem. Two months ago we called to have carpet stretched again and after 3 phone call and a trip to the showroom they still haven't call back. My wife and I are elderly and the lumps in the carpet pose a trip hazard. 05/03/21 Today the Owner Kany came to my house to apologize and that afternoon he had a crew out fixing and re-stretching the carpet. He also gave me a written life time warranty on the labor of the carpet installation. Changed my mind. They took good care of us today! read more
