Our experience: fast response, quality carpet selection and friendly communication. The gentleman who installed the entire top floor of our home was phenomenal and needs a raise! He, alone, got it all done in one day. Amazing. Side note: every time we step on our new carpet, we can't believe how plush and beautiful it is! We have NO buyer's remorse whatsoever. read more

From the moment I met the owner, Michael, I knew we were going to do business together. He came to my house for our initial appointment right on time.... actually he was early!! Loved his energy... super positive and just ready to assist me in making my home beautiful again!! I told him what my budget was, he took measurements throughout the house and came prepared with a wide variety of flooring and carpet samples! Michael was so amazingly patient with me as I chose so many different samples that just didn't seem to be the perfect colors or fit throughout a three week period. I thought he was going to give up on me! Finally we found the perfect vinyl flooring and carpet match, and in my price range!! Finally!! Ha ha! I was overjoyed! Michael and his team were so extremely friendly... fast working...efficient... I could go on for days with compliments!!! I'm so happy with the results!!! My house is beautiful again!!! I highly recommend Kenny's Custom Flooring to anyone looking to get new flooring!! If I could give them a ten star, I would!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you to you Michael and your magnificent team! You all are simply amazing!!! read more

Kenny is one of the easiest vendors to work with, and provides excellent service. I ordered a rug that needed adjustment and requested a quote. He responded quickly and completed the job much faster than I expected. We are very happy with his work, efficiency and patience when we made an error in the measurements. We will use him for any future jobs, as well as endorse him to others. Thank you very much, Kenny! read more

Kenny's Custom Flooring - The runaway runner! - Flooring Near Me - San Marcos, California

Wow. Gucci team for tile work for sure. Due to a faulty install by the previous owner, I had been blessed with gift of water damage in my shower (not), which led to my entire shower having to ripped out including the flooring. Between this disaster and battling with my insurance, last thing I needed was a headache contractor. After getting quite a few bids, Michael Kenny stood out the most. Professional, friendly, patient, reliable, knowledgeable and extremely accommodating/ easy to work with. He knew what he was doing and from the get-go he explained what needed to be done, the cost, and project timeline. Because he was the most thorough when he provided the estimate, I knew he was the one. Even with a structural damage detour, he was very accommodating and worked with me when we had to push the work to a further date, and still completed the work on time. The completed tile work for the shower, niche, and floor was absolutely beautiful... evenly spaced, leveled -everything an ocd person could dream of in tile work. Michael set the bar very high in terms of professional customer service and quality of work, and his team are true craftsmen. If you've read this and are in need of tile work, call Michael Kenny to get your estimate today!! read more

If you're looking for someone to do a great job at a reasonable price, use Mike Kenny and his company. Mike is a super nice, reliable, and accommodating person. We had Mike do our backsplash in our kitchen, re-tile our fireplace, and lay down new tile in the kitchen. His workers, Jesus and Oscar were outstanding. They were on time, very detailed, and listened to our questions and concerns, as well as our design ideas. Jesus laid our backsplash in a herringbone pattern and it looks outstanding. Oscar did our floors in our kitchen in a herringbone pattern and was the most thorough, attentive, craftsman I have seen. We are extremely happy with Mike and his crew and we will definitely be using them again on other projects. read more

Kenny's custom flooring is awesome! After we got stood up by another contractor for our job I was feeling pretty bummed but Michael responded to my inquiry right away and let me know he could schedule me about a month out, his estimate was right on and he kept in contact with me the whole time about our project. He was very friendly and gave me good recommendations on what grout to choose for my tile, etc. When the job started, the crew was prompt and friendly and a pleasure to have in my home, they did an excellent job and had a high attention to detail that we appreciated. They cleaned everything and left it just as they found it when they finished. I will definitely be recommending this company to my friends and family! read more

Highly recommend Kenny's Custom Flooring! After an unexpected slab leak, I contacted Michael Kenny for a quote for flooring. Even though he was on vacation, he contacted me right away just to acknowledge and set up a time to come by the house the next week. He was personable and quoted a very fair price. He helped us pick a quality product and color and sent the most amazing, experienced crew ever to install. They did our whole house in 3 days. These two gentlemen worked HARD and went over and above taking great care in perfecting every detail. Go with Kenny's, you won't regret it read more

The good: very punctual, responsive. The not so good: some issues with the initial and subsequent quote increases. Some workmanship and quality issues with the baseboard corners as shown in the pics. We asked for those to be redone but was given such reasons as "the shape of the wall," "this is the painters job" etc. that they won't fix. read more

I can't believe it took me this long to write a review, but 5 stars! From the first phone call to the last interaction Michael and his team were responsive, professional, and trustworthy. Our new floors are beautiful and still look just as good two years later. We did have a very minor issue come up recently due to expansion caused from the change in weather and he got back to me and fixed it right away! After an awful experience at Lowe's, my friend recommended I contact Kenny's Custom Flooring. I'm so glad I did. Pricing was much better than Lowe's for the same quality carpeting. Kenny's service is friendly, informational and quick. I called Monday morning and Mike was at my house that afternoon to do the free estimate. I picked out the carpet I wanted that night and he ordered it the same day. The carpet arrived Friday morning and it was installed that day. The carpet looks great! read more

I am glad that I could have Kenny's Custom Flooring to install our new wood floor in our house. With very tight schedule, Michael was able to arrange the project to be started in a short time, and got project completed in just a week. Jesse and Porfino are very experienced experts for floor installation. After removing the old wood floor, they filled in all the concrete crack with cement, and also sealed the potential leaking area along the wall with floor glue (moisture resistant). The new wood floor planks are square edged and needs skills for installation. Both Jesse and Porfino did good job for the floor installation in a professional way. Michael and his installer Daniel completed an in-progress flooring installation after we fired the original flooring contractor. When we called him he came out, told us what we would need to finish the job, and then his installer Daniel got to work. The project was completed when he said it would be, cost exactly what we were quoted with no surprises, and it looks great. Had we selected Kenny's Custom Flooring from the start we would have saved a lot of time, money, and stress. read more

Highly recommend! Michael and his team were so efficient and great to work with. Pricing was extremely competitive and I really like the styles/colors offered. The team worked on two rooms and were in and out installation day in 4 hours, wow! Sooo so quick. Our gym was in the finishing stages of construction and we needed to get some flooring installed quickly. Michael was very responsive and worked under a tight timeline. Just based on images sent, quoted my 3x more than other professionals and lack of customer service.

Michael Kenny and his crew are top-notch! We needed some old VCT replaced at our business and Michael was great with helping us get that done. Not only did he come right away to look at the job, he had the bid to me that same day! He found the best possible flooring solution for our needs and his communication was on point throughout the entire process. The old flooring really gave them a go for their money but, they stayed late to ensure the new flooring went in on time. The job was done well and looks great! We know exactly where we are going when we need any flooring help in the future, Kenny's Custom Flooring for the win! read more

Reached out to Michael after movers damaged my engineered floor that required replacement of a nailed down board. Very responsive, quote matched others I received, minus the "just to come out" addition, and the worker was very professional, with great attention to detail. Just finished an awesome flooring install on very short notice and it came out perfect. Home Depot said that it would take 4-6 weeks to get the materials and get on the installer's schedule.
