Great selection of tile and helpful staff. Prices seemed reasonable. I ordered some stone ledger and it came in quickly.

They have the widest selection of tiles I've found anywhere. My bathroom remodels center piece is the amazing tile in the new shower. Highly recommend them! read more

Krista is the best associate. We had a lovely experience with her from start to finish. Thank you for all your hard work and follow up.

Very happy with the customer service provided by Miguel. Miguel was courteous, attentive, knowledgeable and extremely communicative with our project. Miguel ordered multiple samples for us, called us when they arrived and handled our order with the utmost care and dedication. Miguel should be commended for making our tile process go very smoothly! I just had the best experience with a sales staff at Emser Tile in San Marcos. Damien Huitron and Omar Chavez went out of their way to be helpful with us DIYers. They took their time, answered questions, and even made helpful suggestions about things we hadn't considered! The tile at Emser was the nicest of all the tile places we visited. I encourage you to go to the San Marcos location, which has superior service over their other locations from our experience. It gave me such a good feeling that lasted all day to have such nice people give sincere customer service. Thanks Damien & Chavez. I hope corporate reads this review! read more

We are doing a small job in our daughter's bathroom: to replace her shower tub with a standing shower. Our contractor recommended Emser Tile. I went yesterday and Damien was very friendly and extremely helpful. He showered me a couple of options and gave me an estimate for the tiles. Today my husband and I went to the store and only ordered the white polished tiles for the bathroom wall and hexagon tile for the floor. We can't wait to see the result! read more

Emser Tile - For our daughter's bathroom - Flooring Near Me - San Marcos, California

Ours was a very small order-the kind many companies put on the back burner. Not Emser. We are doing a minor home project and were just missing a few tiles, which we had to special order. We were in a time crunch and several Emser employees tracked and communicated with us, even down to the hour, watching for the order to come in. That's customer service! Thanks to Christa, et al. read more

I ordered two boxes of tile that were displayed in their store and three days later tried to return it. One of the boxes wasn't even opened and my return was denied. They did not even offer a restocking fee just a flat no because they said it was a special order. If I had gone in and tried to buy something from a catalog that wasn't readily displayed in their showroom I would understand but now I'm stuck with a product for can't use and I will never go back nor will my fabricator because he sent me there and he knows that's not a good way of doing business. Beware. read more

It was great working with them to select just a right tile for my business. They were considerate about giving me specifications that the health and county office would need along with supply me with all the materials that the installer would need to finish the job. Great customer service I would definitely use them again. read more

After much research on tile and tile stores, I purchased tile for my kitchen remodel at this location. Their selection was excellent, the staff was friendly and experienced, and my tile selection was readily available in just two days. Of tremendous help was Emser's recommendation Of a tile installer. They gave me the name: David McElroy Tile, 760-521-3232, Carlsbad. He was more than excellent, he was a tile artist at very competitive rates. Please call him. read more

When we entered the store we were greeted by Krista. She was incredibly friendly and helpful. Excellent service!!

I highly recommend Emser Tile in San Marcos. They have a beautiful selection at affordable prices. Tile order arrived early. Every one in the store provided great customer service while I was there. I was most grateful for the help provided by Omar Chavez. He is very knowledgeable about tiling and helped me pick out the most suitable tile for my project. He listen to me and was excellent at selecting various options to suit my vision. Omar has a great eye for design. He has been very responsive when I have had follow up needs or questions. read more

Omar and Christine were amazingly helpful. I was under a time crunch with my contractor. Omar took time to help me pick out a beautiful option in tile. The ordering process was efficient and the price was very reasonable! I'll be back for any more of my tile needs! read more

These guys are sooooo amazing! Super nice, all of them, and helpful. Didn't have my color, so gave me an upgraded one in same color!

The staff at Emser were very helpful and accommodating. Carpet was removed from all our downstairs rooms to make way for porcelain tile. Spent several hours in their small show room, looking over the many choices. Husband wanted wood look and I wanted porcelain. Found a style that looked like it would accomplish both our wants in large format tile (LFT). Knowing we couldn't see what the tile would look like with just one piece they were kind enough to allow us to borrow a few. Brought home the first choice and found that it was a bit more red against the furniture than it looked in the store. So back to try the same pattern in a different color. Much better blend overall and got to try it in several locations with several lighting conditions. Price for tile was very reasonable when compared to some of the other locations but be aware if you choose to pick it up yourself the box of 4 LFT tiles are usually between 42-48 lbs. Although we went with another tile I would not hesitate to stop by and check them out. read more

I'm sitting here as I write this review being completely ignored by the staff. There are 4 staff members here and one other customer besides me and my husband. It's been a good 15 minutes in this very small store and we have yet to be greeted or asked if we needed help. This is the most ridiculous customer service I have ever received and will never ever recommend this location to anybody! They should be ashamed of themselves for treating people like this!! read more

I'm in need of ONE SINGLE TILE to complete a bathroom repair, and since my contractor is ghosting me and I didn't know the brand, I resigned myself to a full day of cruising tile stores. Emser was the first one I tried today, and BOY, I should play the lottery because I feel so lucky! I walked in and was immediately greeted (but not in that annoying way) by the two young men at the desk. I explained my dilemma, pointed to a tile that "sorta" looked like what I need, and explained the difference between that one and what I needed. One of them told me to stay put...he's pretty sure he has it in the back. 2 minutes later - BOOM. My exact tile. I went back in a few minutes later, second guessing myself, and asked if I could get the other one (it's discontinued, they only had 2 left in the whole store), and the other co-worker hooked me right up. Both friendly, professional gentlemen and I WISH I had thought to ask their names. Hopefully their boss knows who they are (I'm the lady in the Mustang) so that they can receive their kudos from me. Next project I have, Emser will be my first stop, for sure! read more

Cristina gets 5 stars!! This store is great for those who get easily overwhelmed, it is a smaller store with great products and they cut out all the duplicates and fluff. This makes it great when folks have been over-stimulated from shopping and have looked at hundreds of samples and half are the same. The deals are good here! The product is all high grade. The limestone here is a quality above the competition and they make sure the stone is to your satisfaction before they load you!! Orders are always punctual. read more

I had to go the this store and the Mirimar location and THEY WERE AWESOME!! I was trying to find a tile that would match their floor that I had picked and was having a heck of a time with the "edging factor" and they worked so hard to help me get it figured out. Thanks again EMSER TILE-- AND it really is so pretty--we love it. read more

Remodeled a bathroom and found tiles from several stores. The staff are professional and courteous. I showed her the tiles I had already selected and wanted to know if they had products similar. I was pleasantly surprises to find what I needed at a lower price. Would highly recommend to anyone. read more

We worked with Brad at Emser Tile in San Marcos. He walked us through the many choices that we had to make for a kitchen, master bath and family room remodel. We asked him a ton of questions and asked for so many samples that I started to lose track, but he didn't. We were trying to match an existing travertine Stone floor in our family room and he found us the perfect stone. I would highly recommend the beautiful products at Emser Tile and working with Brad. read more

These guys are awesome. I've used them a few times in the last couple months for a remodel I'm doing. The staff has gone above and beyond for us and really helped us through finding the right choices for our house. read more

I went in looking for Tile and Brad assisted me, showing me a trick for adding a rounded metal strip to the corner of a step that really gives a nice finished look. I ended up buying my tile elsewhere (I found a pattern I liked better) but I got the metal trim from Emser as well as a primer that the other store didn't carry. My tile installer, Angel Cruz, also works with Emser and sings their praises. They even opened early for him to complete a job last weekend. I also recommend Angel. read more

I'm a contractor with KH pavers, we've worked with a lot of suppliers in north county and this place is the best. We had a great experience working with Brad, he was super helpful and cool through the whole process even though we asked for 5 different quotes because of changes in plans. We will be using Brad as our go to tile salesman from here on out. read more

After my bathroom flooded I had to come here in order to buy tile. I brought in a piece of the tile that was in the bathroom to see if I could match it and buy travertine of the exact same style. I was warned that because travertine comes from a rock it would be nearly impossible to match the tile at a couple other stores that I have been to. Once at Emser I did have to wait about five minutes in order for somebody to help me but when I was finally helped the employee was very helpful. He showed me a piece of travertine that he thought would match it. I thought it was a very close match but I think he could tell that I wasn't 100% convinced. Without me having to say anything he offered to open up the whole box of travertine and show me exactly what the new shipment looked like. I went with him to the back where he opened up the box and then we went through the pieces of travertine tile one by one. He was so patient with me as I looked through the tiles and said "yeah I like this one", "no not this one", "maybe" And set up different piles for me. Once I had enough 'yes' tiles he still went through them with me one more time to ensure that I really did love those pieces. He never once rushed me. The tile was a little less than $6 for an 18 x 18 piece which I didn't think was that bad. I bought the tile right there and once the tile was installed I was super excited at how great it matched! No one can tell that anything ever happened to my bathroom the tile is an amazing match! It looks perfect. Thanks Emser! read more
