Over time, since that side of the house gets blasted by the sun, the discoloration has become more noticeable. I called Stubbins last Thursday to ask for a quote. I spoke with Mike A, who also gave me his cell. I sent him photos of what I needed painted, and he answered a million questions from me about the difference between staining and painting and how the pricing would be affected. I agreed to go with Stubbins on Friday. By Monday, Mike A had sent a team to color match the paint needed, and by COB, had completed the project. The front of my house now looks gorgeous! I am extremely pleased with the exceptional service I received from Mike A and his team at Stubbins Painting, and will be returning for all of my paint needs in the future.

Dave and the crew showed up exactly when they said they would, and kept in constant communication with me throughout the process of painting my home. These guys did a beautiful job on painting my home. I did a color change, and I have multiple pop-outs and eves. They were very efficient, had a strong attention to detail, and went above and beyond in making sure that my house looked incredible. Dave, the owner, was easy to contact and stay in touch with. He would provide updates and let me know when they said they would be there--and they were there at those times. If I had a question, he would quickly respond with a substantive answer or give me a call. I appreciated that. Miguel and Medina are a fantastic duo and they worked really hard on the details and ensuring the job came out right. I was very impressed. They are also very friendly with a lot of experience. They've been painting for over 20 years, and their experience shows. The value was there. They were reasonably priced and I think it was fair for both of us. Here are a few things that set them apart from other contractors I interviewed: 1) responsive but not pushy. Some stone fabricators in San diego are incredibly pushy. 2) professional- in communication and in the way they do their operations. 3) high tech machinery and a clean cutting room. They let me see the cut template before cutting. 4) high attention to detail. 5) a proper itemized contract. Some contractors would just send me a text message with rates. That's not the way I want to do business, especially when thousands of dollars are being exchanged. The way they did quotes and contracts is what made me pull the trigger. They were mid point on price but for the service and quality you got, i felt it was a great value. I also love giving my money to a nice, hard working family. I was not 100% confident with this product back then, but now I can say that it's comparable (if not better) with those big brands.
