The fire pit installed by this company exploded into my girlfriend's face. We had an independent professional company come out to inspect the unit and the gas line. Their findings were shocking: the gas connection was completely loose. This negligence allowed gas to build up inside the fire pit structure, which caused it to explode upon ignition. Because of the physical injuries sustained and the absolute gross negligence regarding a gas installation, we are now taking this company to litigation. If you value the safety of your home and your family, stay far away from this business. A "loose connection" on a gas line is not just a mistake--it is a deadly hazard. We are currently in the process of legal action to hold them accountable for the damage and trauma they have caused. Zero stars. Avoid at all costs.

Even though the quote was not the lowest, it was reasonably priced and they were the only contractors that answered a lot of my concerns. I had several quotes from numerous contractors and all; expect Majestic Hardscape, just give me a price. This was concerning to me because we live on a hill and the side of our yard slopes. Every contractor just suggested laying concrete to the way it slopes so water would run off the hill. Bryan was the only one who suggested that this will need further attention, such as a retaining wall in the future otherwise it will just get worse over time. They were able to level the concrete the way we wanted and recommended us to eventually level the rest of the yard in the future. They even went out of their way to take some of our old stacking bricks and used them as a temp retaining wall to aid the sloped yard. Furthermore, the contractor under-reported our $24,331 contract to the City of Imperial Beach on the permit valuation as only $3,786.75 (an 84% discrepancy). We have fulfilled 100% of our financial obligations to close out the contract, but an active investigation has been requested with the California Contractors State License Board (CSLB Complaint #S F 2025016199) regarding their permit reporting and management practices. Proceed with extreme caution.

I had 2 medium-sized fruit trees I needed to transfer from my parent's home in Southeast San Diego to mine in North County. I took pictures and he gave us a very reasonable price. We also decided to also add another service to take out our palm tree. There were a couple of mishaps such as: The day he was scheduled to take out the palm tree, he was a no-show and my husband had to call him an hour after he was supposed to arrive. Then, the day after that incident, was the fruit tree transfer. He and his team forgot to bring their dolly. Thank goodness my Dad had one so they borrowed it, but now we have the burden in taking it back. Despite these mishaps, Noe was very knowledgeable and professional in his mannerisms. The day of the fruit tree transfer, he and his team arrived in a timely manner, was efficient and did a great job overall. We were very pleased and will definitely use him again if we have another project.

My wife and I hired this contractor and paid the full contract amount. After payment, the owner…read morefiled a mechanic's lien against our property that was later found to be fraudulent -- overbilled for unsigned change orders and overtime for labor that was never paid to workers. The lien encumbered our property for three years. The work itself was a complete failure. The retaining wall collapsed. The owner never returned to repair defects or clean up after being paid in full. We had to hire private labor and purchase materials ourselves to address the damage. After an 16-18 month investigation, the California State License Board (CSLB) found 17 violations against this contractor's license, including 11 misdemeanor charges. He was fined $6,000. The investment property was listed for sale and could not sell due to the construction defects and the lien on title. We ultimately lost the property. All of this is documented public record.
