In June of 2019 I had the top of the line pavers installed in my Hardscape. Beautiful rich colors which made our house look amazing. Unfortunately only 6 months later they had faded by 60 percent and now look 20 years old. I had jack the customer service liaison come out to view the product and he stated "this is normal wear". At first i accepted it and moved on. But after only 3 months later the pavers have lost all color so I wrote an email and contacted Jack last week. HE IS AVOIDING ME. Don't waste your time here. I needed 250 blocks for a wall and this was the worst customer service I've ever seen. The girls inside the window leave their backs to you while you wait outside the window. Then when you ask a question on color, the guy inside mumbles some very brief info and they relay it back eventually. I was trying to buy local since I live in Oceanside but will definitely never give this company my money. I told my story to my contractor buddy and this was his experience as well so I thought others should be warned. Go elsewhere. read more

Two visits here. It is a wholesale contractor supply yard for all types of blocks. Each visit I was able to talk with an associate immediately and they offered extensive, helpful feedback each time. Easy going and very friendly. Seems to be a popular place for sourcing blocks for construction in the area. I was scoping out options for building a retaining wall, and the options they had were exactly what I needed. Pricing was quite good for the blocks, but delivery for one pallet was a set $275 even though I only live less than one mile away. No thanks. read more

I chose Orco block for their outstanding selection of concrete pavers. I went in on a friday and Orco block is not open on weekends so it was extremely busy. They only had 2 people working in the office who were helping customers and answering the phone. They did not have time to help a do-it-yourselfer order bricks. I felt like they usually work with contractors ordering huge quantities. They couldn't be bothered with a little backyard job. I needed 400 square feet of pavers. I had them picked out and just wanted to order them and have them delivered. They couldn't deliver that day so they recommended silverstone (a 5-star company). Then they checked their stock and didn't have the pavers anyway. I asked them to please order them and I would be back in 2 weeks to pick them up. 2 weeks later they were still out of stock. They had to rush order them, thanks to pressure from SilverStone to get it done. Silverstone delivered them for $100 less then Orco would. Orco looked at me like I was crazy when I told them I needed the blocks delivered and didn't have my own truck to transport. My final experience with orco was buying special paver sand to go between the pavers. I ordered 3 bags of sand. They only had 2 in stock. It would be another week before they restocked their stay-lock sand. I will go back to Orco but only because their pavers are amazing. They're lucky because their customer service is not. Couldn't ask for better customer service. If you have any questions ask for Bobby. I ordered pavers for my pool deck and even got help with some great color options. So professional and very friendly. They calculate how much you need depending on your square footage. Even delivered it as well. I will definitely be back when it's time to do my driveway. My wife and I went to the Oceanside store and were impressed with the excellent customer service. I know nothing about installing pavers and the employees were patient and helpfull. Mario was most helpful and made us feel comfortable with the process. We will return when ready for more landscape projects in the future. Highly recommend! read more

I have purchased block for my yard projects over the years with very helpful staff. Great selection of natural, pavers and block for building walls with out motor. I recently purchased some AB Courtyard to build a outdoor Kitchen island. The Staff was helpful and I was able to put in my pickup in three loads. Kyle was the one loading it in my truck he wrapped them in plastic wrap and loaded it right in my truck with the fork lift. He was the one who attended to my three trips and offered suggestions to some questions I had about some cuts in my block that they would be able to provide. Each time Kyle provided excellent customer service and asked how the project was going. He is very professional and knowledge. Shanna provided friendly service at the counter and explained the charges. Great selection for do it yourself or hiring a contractor projects. Great Staff !!! read more
