Excellent customer service - Quality work - Fair pricing - So ... we made the mistake of trying to save money when we got our garage floor epoxied. MISTAKE!! Long story short, we needed someone to put a 2nd coat of epoxy on the floor because the guy who did the original job kept blowing us off (not taking responsibility for his crappy work). We had to empty out the garage to get the floor done, so our motorcycles had been in the backyard for 2 weeks already. Saying I was unhappy is an understatement. So I bookmarked this company two years ago when we were planning to renovate. I reached out then and got an immediate response and was impressed. Fast forward two years later, I reached out to Daynan again remembering his reviews and response. Seems like he's the owner. Daynan is super responsive and got back to me right away even over text. We settled on cost, timing, and product easily. He answered my questions and held the date (about 2-3 weeks later). Daynan is very communicative and responsive. His crew showed up exactly on time (at 7:45 am). Don't be fooled by their young appearance. Bryce and Gabe worked really hard and were patient with my questions and responsive. Really professional. We had a glitch where the product (manufacturer error) was wrong. Daynan called me to proactively let me know, tell me how he'd fix it (involved him driving two hours to get new product), and still keep the original timing. Some contractors wouldn't have told the owner or would have reached for excuses that might have called delays. Whew, not this one. Let me tell you, our garage floor was junk before this makeover. First of all, Daynan was super responsive. He gave me an estimate, which others seem afraid to do. He communicated the process well, and has a lifetime guarantee (which others have said he stands behind). After research, I felt that although I might spend a few more bucks going with GoEpoxy, it would be worth the quality. As they say, the bitterness of poor quality lingers long after the sweetness of a low price. I remember thinking I could maybe do it myself. Glad I didn't try. The prep work these guys did was far beyond what I would have done. Apparently since they guarantee their work they take care to ensure the surface is prepared well. And although there was a lot of sanding, there was no dust because their equipment is hooked to a vacuum. To think of the mess I would have left if I had done this myself! Then they filled in any imperfections and it was ready to go. After the first coat of plain color I thought it looked so amazing that I wondered if I had made a mistake asking for a texture. Then they tossed the texture down and it looked really cool. They came back the second day, on time and as planned, to put down the clear coat. I had no idea it would look this good. I love to walk on it. The texture is perfect for a garage, and not slippery at all. Pictures can't do it justice. Some guys stopped by and told me how jealous they were. I just told them to do it. Put your crap in a pod and do it. And to top it off, the price was lower than my estimate. He's honest about his pricing, and that really solidified this as a five-star experience. I had the owner come out twice the first time for a free estimate and decided I still wanted to take some time and make sure I was making the right choice. I thought he was a little abrupt and rude and when I didn't sign on with him he said "if I had known that it wouldn't have come." Well, what does free estimate mean? so then I gave it a few days and I really thought about it because I did have a good recommendation from a friend and I called the owner up again and ask him to come over and clarify some questions for me and he came right over within an hour. He showed me his product but I wanted some thing that was a little more substantial, and again he being the owner he's also the salesman and his product did not sell me and I also asked him if he could fill the holes in the concrete around the edge of the walls to be smooth before he epoxys it and he said no we don't do that and I wanted it done so I chose not to have him do the job and needless to say he wasn't very happy. I had a positive experience with Daynan (late 30's, early 40's) and his worker (I never caught his workers name, but a young guy, early 20's). GoEpoxy is a two-man operation. They work fast, no BS'ing and/or wasting time. They got in and out in 2 days (around 6-8 hrs total), 4 hrs first day, 2-4 hrs the second day. Both the owner and his worker were very courteous, professional and accommodating to answers questions I had while they were working (I tried to stay out of their hair, but I'm an inquisitive person by nature). They used a machine to diamond grind the floor, then used some sort of a filler on any exposed hair line cracks before laying down the coating, flake and polyspartic top layer (clear coat). They use a product called Roll On Rock and don't go light on the flake which was the highlight of the job IMO. The floors have full coverage of flake, 100% to include the concrete edges that protrude from the wall. My floor looks absolutely amazing and I've got tons of compliments over the last two days since it was installed. As for would I use them again, the answer as of now is YES. You never know how well the floor will hold up in the years to come, but they offer a lifetime warranty supposedly. I'm still waiting for the invoice and warranty information, but I'm sure they will send it within the next few days (I'll update this review once that does or doesn't happen) so Daynan if you're reading this, please send that to me. read more
