From the initial contact with Korey to project completion, Flatout Flooring was one of the very best contractors we've used (and this was our 4th house we've owned in 3 different states). Korey provided a quick but quality quote using very rough measurements from a paper floor plan (since we weren't in town yet). The follow up in person estimate and material selection was seamless. This review is long overdue. I had these guys come out last summer and give me an estimate on installing lvp in my great room. We've had carpet in it since we bought the house in 2016. With 3 kids and 2 dogs, things can get pretty messy around here. Could not stand it anymore so I did my research and Flatout Flooring came highly recommended from a home improvement page on fb. I see now why they have an all 5 star rating on yelp! Mike came out to do the estimate for me and he blew everyone else out of the water. I had someone else come and give me a quote and he wanted double the price for less work! I knew I wanted something durable and easy to clean, so I chose lvp which is very popular nowadays. When I went to the showroom to look at samples, I found 2 I liked but still couldn't decide so Mike let me take them home to see how they would look in different lighting, etc. Amazing!! Cleanup is a breeze and I'm glad that you can take a steam mop to it unlike my laminate in the rest of my downstairs area. The crew of 2 men came and took about 6 hours to complete. They arrived on time, were courteous and cleaned up before they left. There's a small hallway in front of our downstairs bathroom that I asked if they could also replace, and Mike said it shouldn't be a problem since they always have to have extra planks to finish a job. It's about a 3 1/2 × 5 area and they changed it out without charging me extra! I can't say enough good things about these guys and their work. They also offer a military discount which is nice. I will probably have them come back to do the rest of my house because I thought I would like the laminate but ughhh, it's a pain to keep clean, especially since mine is dark. Flatout Flooring is one of the smaller shops in town but they have great inventory of LVP and hardwood flooring. You are encouraged to take home large samples to see how they look in your setting. Korey is helpful in explaining floor types and making recommendations. After shopping many floor showrooms in the Valley, we chose Flatout based on good reviews, a fair estimate and expertise in covering a fireplace with stone. Chuck and Juan truly did an outstanding job at leveling floors and laying my Provenza. Chuck has an exceptional work ethic, not often seen from busy tradesmen these days. His attention to detail, and making sure the job was completed well and to our liking was much appreciated. Unfortunately, we discovered an issue with the fireplace electrical wiring once the job was finished but Chuck and an electrician came back to resolve the issue to our satisfaction.
