The cases are lined with every type of cookie you could imagine and they have a plethora of pastries to choose from. They have Italian staples like 7 layer cookies, sprinkle cookies and jelly sandwich cookies. With all the different types of cakes and cannoli's it's hard to pick a favorite. When you walk into the store it feels like you've stepped back in time. It always smells like there is something amazing baking in the back. I've been to quite a few bakeries in my neighborhood because we have a lot of good ones. However, this bakery out of all the ones I've had is my favorite. I love their fruit tarts. From the picture they're beautiful and delicious. And my second favorite thing, that I don't have a picture of because I always eat it too quickly before I remember to take a photo of it, is their raspberry rugelach. Those things are so buttery and flaky and fresh with raspberry flavor that I dream about them. I would with 100% recommend you to go get them. They are literally the best tasting things I've had from a bakery and I've eaten at a lot of bakeries. lol. I'm giving high praise, but truly it's delicious. I ordered the signature red velvet, 2 classic american cheesecakes, 1 tiramisu slice, and 1 old fashion bluberry muffin. Ordering through seamless, there were pictures for every single item. I have to say, I had low expectations for the red velvet. In the picture, it looked pretty hard. However, it was terrific. It was a rectangular slice with one white chocolate on the top. In fact, the portion left me feeling like it was too much- too heavy. But, i'm not complaining since I could just eat half and save the rest for later. Big portions are never a problem. In the seamless pictures the cheesecake seemed small but it's actually pretty tall in height so even if it's width isn't that much, the height makes up for it. Do note that there is no graham cracker on the bottom like regular cheesecakes. I thought the tiramisu would be more textured because of the seamless picture, but it was like regular tiramisu. read more

Shortly after my purchase I took a bite and immediately the cream tasted off. Took another bite and this time as I was chewing the strawberry which tasted old and soggy. Took another piece off with my fork to inspect it and sure enough the strawberry looked like an expired strawberry and smelled awful. Immediately went in the trash and my money was wasted. The cannolis are perfection, there's a tiramisu cup that is sinfully tasty and the chocolate mousse cake is melt in your mouth delicious BUT.... when they're bad? Omg it is epic. A few weeks ago I ordered raisin cinnamon rugelach and they were amazing! I ordered the same thing a few days later, except I also added an order of the raspberry rugelach. This time the raisin cinnamon rugelach were some horrible bready things with barely a raisin to be seen and no taste. Disgusting. However, the raspberry ones were awesome. Yesterday I ordered 3/4 lb of the raspberry rugelach. I paid $14.95 and received 4. FOUR!!! That's $3.74 for each one!!! What?!?! The crazy thing is that when I ordered less raspberry rugelach, I got more than I did yesterday. I just can't stand the inconsistency. They are a hit or miss. Some days cakes are fresh some days they taste old and are disgusting. I wish they would just not sell old baked goods. I've tried the tres leches, Oreo slice, strawberry cheesecake, and a few other slices. And to make it worse my family ordered me a vanilla birthday cake from here that was delivered to my home in the morning. It looked so beautiful but it was the oldest driest cake I've ever had. The staff is friendly and they have a huge selection of cookies to choose from. The fruit tarts also looked good but we skipped those. I can tell they're probably known for their cakes since they were in the display window and pre-made in a fridge inside. We decided to get an assortment of a pound of cookies and half a pound of rainbow cookies (my favorite). It was then I noticed this place is cash only with an ATM within ($2.50 fee). I understand old school places such as there prefer cash only but I'm a plastic gal myself. We got cash and decided to still get our order. The rainbow cookies are yummy but the assorted cookies are not that great. Some tasted stale, others had a filling that would rip out your dental fillings. Trusting this place for a fondant cake for the first time was the worst mistake, I pre ordered a week prior and I had my friend pick up the cake since this place do not offer delivery, when I tell you how hurt I felt when I seen it it was a terrible sloppy cake I can't fathom the melting icing on top with poor rose details.
